What an awesome gadget. Especially that you can leave in the fridge for a week. Perfect. Thank you Henry for another great video.

Thank you so much Ann! You made my entire day. 😍. Yes, the one thing about homemade whipped cream is you generally have to consume it all the same day you create it because it won't stay whipped sitting in the fridge. This is exactly one of the best attributes of a cream whipper is you can sit in the fridge for a week or so and get some whipped cream when you need it.

Thanks for the video. One quick question that isn't clear in the video @2:23 - it says 'store in the refrigerator for 1 hour'. Is that just the iSi Gourmet Whip Container? Is that container with the ingredients inside? or is that everything, including the gas canister attached?

Thanks for the question! After all the ingredients are poured into the canister and the gas has been added from the N20 charger shake it up then sit into the refrigerator for 1 hour before first use. While you CAN use it right away, just like any type of cream you get a firmer whip when the ingredients are very cold.

What is the whip cream dispenser you use? I’ve been looking for a good one?

The one in the video is the one I use. It’s from the company iSi. Check it out from the link I posted on Amazon. It’s a commercial-grade cream whipper with NSF certification so that’s why chefs and Starbucks use it.

Could I do the same in my KitchenAid Stand Mixer?

It would require removing the water first and putting only the coconut fat into the KA mixer. It requires a lot of mixing to whip air into it. It won't be light and airy like dairy-based whipped cream. The reason a cream whipper ideal is you don't have to consume all the whipped topping right away. A batch will last 7-10 days. Also the nitrous oxide gas keeps the cream whipped. If you use your stand mixer to do this your cream may go flat if it sits in the refrigerator over night. There are no proteins in plant-based milk so it doesn't stay whipped for long.

Hey You Guys! Check out these tips below not mentioned in the video for using the iSi Gourmet Whip:
For NON-DAIRY Whipped Topping (Coconut Milk)
Use (1) N20 Charger per 1 pint canister. iSi Gourmet shown in video is a 1 pint canister. Also sold in 2 pint canisters which require (2) N20 Cream Chargers regardless the amount of cream used.
Shake bottle vigorously 10-15 times after installing gas from the N20 Cream Charger. Store in refrigerator for 1 hour before use. Upon each use after sitting in refrigerator shake bottle 2 times. Over-shaking will cause the nitrous oxide to make the whipped cream too dense and it will not dispense from the canister.
FOR DAIRY-BASED Whipped Topping (Heavy Whipping Cream)
Use (1) N20 Cream Charger per 1 pint canister.
Shake bottle vigoursly no more than 4-6 times after installing gas from the N20 Cream Charger. Store in refrigerator for 1 hour. Upon each use after sitting in refrigerator shake bottle only 2 times. Do not over-shake.
FOR SWEETENER (Use most any liquid, granulated sugar or powdered sweetener). For powdered sugar and simple syrup 3-4 TBSP's per 1 pint of cream provides the same sweetened taste from store-bought whipped cream. Mix your cream, sweeteners and other flavors together in the Vitamix on low speed before pouring into the canister. Sample taste before pour into canister. You cannot add or alter flavors once N20 Cream Charger is installed.
TIP: Add a pinch of salt while mixing your ingredients in the Vitamix for a more enhanced flavor.
    HOW TO USE GOURMET WHIP:
Squeeze handle gently and slowly to dispense whipped cream. Squeezing the handle all the way will cause too much gas to be released and cream will shoot out of the canister rapidly.
N20 Cream Charger (nitrous oxide capsules) are sold separately on Amazon. None are included with the iSi Gourmet Whip.
