I honestly forgot that I had a frunk. I went to charge my myp in a parking garage and couldn't find my adapter. Thought I lost it. Days later, I remembered it was in my frunk.

It’s looks like maybe it’s supposed to go on that smalller one just under and to the right of the one he stuck it to, because then it looks like the hole is about the right size to push it onto, and then I guess the fact that it’s magnetic is just that much more hold? Idk honestly I’m so confused. I got mine from Tsportline and it doesn’t even have that circular cutout in the middle, though it is magnetic, so yeah I’m not sure what’s going to happen after a few potholes, and the problem is it’s not like you get an alert or something if it falls off, so then you’ll just have it not grounded and not know it, or the light will stop working perhaps and then you’ll know to go in and reattach it? It seems like all these companies want to hide the fact that their “plug and play” frunk strip light isn’t plug and play for 2021+ models because none of their product pictures, descriptions, or installation videos seem to reflect that change, and 2021 was long enough ago that it almost just feels like a dishonest way of avoiding deterring customers who want the version they advertise, the version for 2017-2020 models, which really was simple plug and play, but by not talking about it they make it so much more confusing than if they just explained it. Here I am in the comments section of a short I found of a different brand of the light which has a little bit different construction than mine or than the one I tried before this one in front of me, complaining to you under a 5 month old comment while I try to figure out what I’m doing, all the while their customer support is telling me I don’t know what I’m talking about when I complained that my product is different from their advertisement, that it has an extra wire that none of their instructions or anything else even mentions, which isn’t even on the version they show in their video, which I’m just supposed to figure out what to do with while they literally act like it doesn’t exist. What? Maybe it’s just so obvious and I don’t have the experience to realize that, but come on this has got to qualify as false advertising, like I’m being gaslit by their whole company, from support, through the website, to even the installation video with up close shots of their product.
I got the best upgrade on my Tesla , I got rid of that POS.
