@Chris , you can use the air vent near the rear seats to terminate the rear seats light tubes this will avoid clogging of the wires below the front seats

Best Tesla purchase ever. And it doesn’t affect warranty. I’m not sure if it’s the same exact brand but generic China stuff

I noticed you could pull out the end clip for your wire to fit under the dashboard? Didn't know that piece would pullout to feed the tube under dashboard, am I correct for my 2023 Tesla Model Y 🤔?
Only applies to the older ones I believe. The new ones it’s connected

@@kevivdude08 it took maybe 4 hours but do it in the evening or later in the day. Doing it in 100 degrees is a pain. But do worry it in the end

Hi! Thank you for all the great videos! I had a question regarding the cigarette lighter splitter. I saw that it has a timed auto off feature in the product description. I read somewhere that if the car is “awake” even if while in sentry mode the power the the cig outlet or usb stays powered. Is this true? I have an ownice carplay device that I am trying to automatically power off when the car is parked and not in use. If not the car stays connected to the unit’s wifi without any internet…. Preventing the car from connecting to the car’s LTE… Would love to pick you’re brain on this… Any way to navigate around this?
It turns off of sentry mode is off and the car goes to sleep!
get a cigarette lighter hub that has on off switch that’s what i did.

Also, I know you mentioned they are always own, unless the car is off, so if you walk away and the car locks, does the lights turn off? I am looking at this set, and your video has me sold, I just want to know these last little things before I take the plunge.
Hello. Yes Still love them. They stay on until the car goes to sleep. So on during the day as well. No issues no battery drain. Drove it to Austin for the Cybertruck event and the ambient lighting was nice

I ordered them but i got the one with only 2 footlights. If i wanted to add 2 more fight lights how would i go about that? Without having to order an entire other set

Looks nice, but I'm not willing to possibly voiding my warranty, particularly if squeaks and rattles begin after installation. Just bought my 2023 Tesla X ultra red, so I'm a bit apprehensive about removing panels and such....blue does look great.

@@Kingmohit1988 I had thoughts of cancelling myself, but glad I pulled the trigger. The fit and finish along with quality control has improved immensely. The ultra red is quite a head turner.
If you do change your mind you won't regret your decision. BTW, this is my 3rd Tesla since 2015.

@@LanceJDanks the reason I canceled as I already own bmwx5 with all packages so when I compared my bmw with Tesla model x - I had same feature in my car (considering I don’t but 15k package for self driving )and some more features and at much less price hence I canceled it. Of course tesla had some more features like automatic doors etc but did not worth the price. Hope you enjoy your ride

Hey, do the lights switch off and on depending on if the cars on or not, or do you always have to use your phone to turn it off and on?
I recommend that switch to manually turn it off. The lights only turn off when the car goes into that deep sleep with sentry mode off

I messed up a lot so a few hours
I love these but I wouldn’t want anything that’s run by an app. If the app doesn’t get supported in the long term then it would be such a headache trying to remove all that.
So easy to change the colors and you rarely change it.. I still use these today!
So the lights come on automatically or has to be through app?
Always on unless you turn them off or when the car is off

Nope. Just had service done. As long as it’s not directly affecting the part like cig outlet it’s fine. And you can easily remove it too!

That's the whole Idea with a Tesla. You start from a minimal but perfectly operating battle station. And on-line you can add ANY option you'd like to have. No other car brand will give you this opportunity.
New upgrades are invented on a daily basis and for sale straight away for Tesla cars .
And the car keeps improving itself with nightly updates.
Coming from the Porsche brand car i can only say that tesla performance cars are so much faster and solid in corners with way more options and control and even full race track control .
And plenty of room for people and furniture.
