I just got my Gmmk pro a week ago and I got to say your instructions are on point well done. I would suggest adding 4 layers tape mod, it gave mine a much deeper sound and best of it all it enhanced the marble sound effect
@@SamuelJamesVideos I know what you mean when I first did it, it felt weird and wrong but no regrets whatsoever. I do have an issue with the spacebar tho I think it's the top frame but it's got a louder than normal sound, like the spacebar is not cushioned (it's not stabs, I holee modded them) that I'm not too fond of, have you noticed that?
I'm selling off my ID80 V1 and that leaves me with my Tokyo 60 at work and Melody 96 at home. I'm proud to say I've actually left the keyboard rabbit hole. Haha
Great video man! Love the little tips that I have not seen in other videos. Your keycaps are beautiful, for me it has been the hardest part. Found some really nice ones on KBDfans, but I can not buy from there as they only have paypal as payment alternative, and as a christian I am unable to use paypal from fear of being fined for “misinformation” they don’t like. ( they have started with it again after saying they wouldn’t ) And the GMK keycaps that I find good looking are sold out six months before they are even available. I did find the gmk agent 001 on aliexpress but 400 dollars for keycaps is “a bit” much much, I mean it is not a new phone with tons of tech, it is some pieces of plastic. 150 dollars sure, 250 if really nice. But more than that, no.

I've been thinking about doing the tape mod but the idea of painters tape all over my board seems... odd.

@@springpocket6941 yeah the spacebar is extra loud on this board. I foam modded mine and it helped a little bit not as much as id like though
