As for the hk vp9, its a very very nice trigger, the take up is nice reset is long but very possitve however the PDP triggers have a shorter reset and a short take up. Hks trigger break is like a rolling type of break but its very well done i enjoy the trigger feel and weight of it. Over all HK vp9 triggers are nice but not as nice and light as the PDP
Well the pdp pro trigger is definitely a better trigger than this stock hk. The issue with the pdp though is that it's snappy with a gigantic/thick slide. I would definitely choose the pdp over this hk because of the price but technically this hk is slightly nicer.
Man…I loved my VP9 the most of any handgun I have owned and have regretted selling it. Thank you for this, and all of your content. I am sold! By the way…your wife loves you so much and it’s great to see you two shot together often :)

Out of dozens of handguns including some custom models, my VP9 is hands down my go to for the range and carry. It points naturally and I shoot super well with it. Love the controls and as a lefty the paddle mag release is amazing. No safety and three dot night sights is the way to go in my opinion.
Long time H&K guy here. I've carried USP's of some variant for most of my life. I got my wife a VPSK to update the old Sig she had, and I honestly love that little thing for concealed carry. It makes me happy to hear they gave it some more TLC, and now it sounds like I might need to get the new compact variant for myself this year.
I would have loved to have a variant of my P30L, currently only with Trijicon sights and either a Streamlight TLR-1 HR or my Olight BARDL with green laser along with other night sights.
@ I think Langdon Tactical has nailed down what an update ought to look like. Add a grippier texture and a couple of those index pads/gas pedals and you’d have an unbeatable DA/SA pistol if they could keep it sub $1000. I carry a P30sk. I love the gun but it the platform is in need of a bit of sprucing up.

I don't put a lot of stock in these quick amateur tests especially when more than a few have been click bait trash . Plenty of people tested their VP9s in water and sand where the VP9 worked perfectly. I put my trust in HKs testing.
You both are smashing the A1s in the frigid temps. So impressive. Both A1s look great. As an owner of the A0 VP9, VP9L, and Match, I absolutely love them all for their respective purpose, and personally don't see a need to upgrade, especially at the launch price. BUT.. you two certainly make me want to trade them all in for both the K and F.. I'm not gonna lie. Keep it up you two!
About a month ago I bought the VP9SKB stand's for button version. Optic cut, two 12 round magazines and one 15 round mag. $630 brand new I will not be upgrading.
No need to “upgrade” you got a great one there, I personally like the paddle vs the button, but if it works for you that’s what matters. I picked up a lot of the 15 round mags for mine, the only thing I did was buy a threaded barrel for it. I may snag a full size vp9 on sale though. I love my vp9sk.
Last year I somehow managed a full size VP9-B for $530 plus a $200 HK rebate, which I used for a rail comp and an extra mag. I've been really happy with it and glad I went with the B variant since it didn't take any getting used to.
Really? Compare a Gen 5 against any of the preceding Gens. I'm no Glock fanboy, but fair is fair and there are massive, non-cosmetic differences. Trigger, barrel, finish, etc.
@@JD-tn5lz really? You gotta be coping hard. During the time glock “changes” from gen 3 to gen 5, s&w released bodyguard 2.0, shield plus, m&p 2.0. Upgrades to 3 different guns that brought them to best of the best in their class of handgun. I love glocks, but they’re not known for improvements to their guns. The trigger is exactly the same between gens
The original VP9 was my first gun, and I still love it over a decade later. It was my CCW until the SK was released. I made some upgrades to mine: I added a mag well, swapped out the trigger, and put in the DPM recoil system. I also had it cut for an optic. It’s still my favorite gun, 10k+ rounds later. I’m curious to shoot this new model, but it’s probably pretty similar to the one I upgraded, but I’m looking forward to shooting them side by side.
I had the VP 9 gen 1, sold it and got the next gen with optics cut and three 17 round mags at Bass Pro for $749. I also prefer the trigger guard mag release

My VP9 is my favorite handgun i own, it's worth every penny.
Agree. I bought my first VP9 a couple of years ago and within months I had them all for the SK to the Match. I have waaay more expensive guns, but the VP9 is my go to gun for everything.
Same. I shoot comps with the standard VP9 and it just runs. Love the trigger too. I just wish the original was more g19 size and not full size because it sucks ti conceal carry
VP9 SK has been my main EDC for a few years now. That thing is super fun and accurate to shoot on the range. Seems to land right on line every time you push it out at the target.
When I open my safe and see the handguns, I have most are because of you guys , that’s not a bad thing… in other ways of looking at that I can say I don’t have other guns because of your videos. Thank you for the video. Happy New Year’s.🎉
@Honest Outlaw 3:19 There was an early model called the P30X that had a bump behind the slide stop to rest the thumb against. There are also options to have the slide lock mostly removed cause there was a contract that asked for it. If it had the same coating as the USP and a threaded barrel, the price would be ok.
I sold my PDP because I just wasn’t good with it. Mad respect for it but I’m a HK guy and the VP9 is my favorite. Can’t wait to get my hands on one of these. I own every model VP9 made
I have so many guns at this point, but the one I always go back to for heavy clothing concealed carry, training, basic level competition, instruction, etc, is the VP9
I have the California VP-9 that just came on roster! Great gun shoots great. My biggest gripe is the slide release as you mentioned. I have to adjust my grip otherwise slide doesn’t lock back on last round. Still will take my HK usp all day everyday. Thanks for the review.
HK got these into the California approved roster, so this is amazingly hitting our shelves around here as fast as everywhere else. Looking forwards to trying one out.
Chris if H&K will listen to you, please ask them to develop an updated USP 45 (with the same magazines) with a picatinny rail, ambi slide release, large paddle mag release, and optics cut. Probably never going to happen but...
@@mwbeckessentially yes, but the HK45 changing to a 10 Rd magazine is annoying. The HK45, USP 45, and Mark 23 all use different magazines, it's wild.
Yes, please do a comparison video. I own both a PDP 4” (installed their improved trigger and bought a threaded barrel for fun) and a VP9 tactical (with a spare slide I had milled for trijicon sro). I think the VP9 fits my hand better. Both the PDP and VP9 wear a red dot sight far better than any Glock I tried. The VP9 also shoots suppressed better; Walther’s PDP spits the gas in my face through the exposed channel in the back plate. They need to make a different back plate on the PDP to cover the striker channel better.
Thanks for this review, I've really been taking a long hard look at the VP9, probably the 5 inch barrel version, the VP9L. Need to get one in hand and check it out.
I have two VP9s, the Match which is still the coolest looking pistol on earth in my opinion, and the original with no optics cut which is exactly what I would carry 100% if I had to carry a pistol for a life/death job. Trigger, takes getting used to but once I did I love it, not heavy, not too light, just Goldilocks perfect. The finger grooves, love them. The weight distribution, fantastic. The charging tabs, don't need them but why not make charging a pistol even easier? I have other pistols I also love, my cool CZ Shadow with the awesome metal blue grips, all 4 of my PDPs, my Caniks, my Gen 5 17 MOS with the new Glock trigger, my mutant looking 5" Taurus 22 pistol, all of my pistols for different reasons like I love all of my sons for different reasons. I just don't see why the VP9 isn't as common as it should be, has to be total lack of marketing or something. Only pistol I hate is the Sig I bought, hate it, hate how it looks, hate the trigger, hate it. Everyone says try this Sig or that Sig, don't want to, even looking at the case it came in stacked in my closet with the other plastic cases pisses me off. If you love Sig my opinion shouldn't sway you because my opinion doesn't matter but Sig can suck it.
I've converted a few friends and family members over the years from Glock and S&W to HK VP9s. When you can hand someone a VP9 that they've never fired and have them shooting significantly better groups than they can with their own pistols that they've owned and shot with for years, it has to mean something. The VP9 just has "it", whatever that is. They absolutely should be more popular, and I agree it may simply be the lack of marketing. Sig and Glock certainly aren't making better guns, that's for sure.
@@Warhorse556it seems that there are less hk at gun stores. Out of all the gun stores in my area, 2 out of the two dozen have hk in stock consistently. Everyone else might have them here and there. They are great guns!
@@Warhorse556 I love my Glock 17s because as an Idaho native and resident I spend a lot of time in the backcountry and with my Ruger 19122 PCC I can have a really good 1-2 punch given the ubiquity of Glock mags that can be easily stowed in a backpack, back of a.snowmobile or side by side. Love my AKs and ARs as well but gets too complicated carrying pistol and rifle mags and ammo if you're trying to be mobile. I'd love to have a similar PCC to the Ruger that accepts the VP9 mags, I just can't seem to find the right one or actually anything similar. I love the H&K PCCs but they're not really the same as the Ruger PCC that feels and handles more like a rifle. What's super fun about the past 5 years in particular with firearms is the sheer volume of quality options. You can have a Vegas buffet of a lot of brands like I do or stick to one brand and get every size of pistol. Canik has grown on me to the point where I check what they have before I buy any pistol. Their Mete line all the way through the Rival and TTI Combat would fill all of the pistol requirements a guy like me would ever need. What's missing, however, is a directly compatible PCC, something I hope Canik, Walther, or H&K remedy. I'm a tiny bit frustrated that I don't have any M&P 2.0s. I didn't really like S&W when I got back into buying pistols but that 2.0 series is awesome. I shot my friend's M&P 2.0 Metal and it's outstanding. All the money I spent on a bunch of other random pistols I could have straight M&P all the way through their FPC and be good to go. I guess that new Scheel's card could come in handy if I want to go down a new firearm rabbit hole. I saw my first polymer striker fire pistol in 1984 when I was 14 working at an outdoor international pistol silhouette competition at a range a bunch of us were hired to build and maintain in the sand dunes south of town. It was a Glock and looked so cool that we thought it was space aged and only spies or Rambo would ever be able to have one. I am no world class shooter, just decent as I've been around firearms my entire life and they're fun. People who don't support the 2A are totally missing out.

HK also got rid of the ridiculous trigger trough inside the trigger-guard. The magwell has been improved too on the VP9 A1 frame. Magazine floorplates have recesses for manual removal. All so much better.
@@metalmystic6214Agreed. The only real detractor for me now is the elimination of the finger grooves, which was like holding a bar of soap to fit your hand. Now it feels a little "chunky". Guess we'll just have to put them back in.
The new variant is like painting your front door a different color. Just doesn’t change things that much. If you carry appendix maybe the shorter grip makes a bit of a difference. None carrying 3:30 IWB. I would buy the new full size but with night sights. Currently have the older style VP-9. Great pistol.
Great video man! Just bought a VP9sk and have issues with slide lock too. My p10-s has the same slide lock issue, def my grip hitting that button. Both are great shooters for edc imo. I sold my VP9 yeeears ago because of MACs video for guess what, a P320. That thing was so unreliable it got traded in for a G19.5, at least it didn't shoot me in the leg thru my holster
I honestly believe, years later, that Mac purposely failed the VP9. I've tested more VP9's than Mac has, and my experience is the complete opposite of his, under harsher conditions even. It makes no sense that they would fail like that unless he was playing games with the ammo (which would be very easy to fake). I think a lot of people took that video as truth and ended up giving up on what was the best polymer framed pistol available at the time. Since then, he's been proven to be less than trustworthy, so I simply quit watching his content and taking his opinion seriously.
You should review the Tisas PX-9 Carry. They offer side panels and back straps as well. I feel like it has a very good trigger on it. Any ways, just my 2 cents. Love your videos
I’ve always been so on the edge of getting a VP9, but since getting the PDP Pro on sale, I don’t see a reason to. I’m happy they’ve released a model that apparently improves on the previous though.
It's interesting that, in just browsing the video reviews, I hear more target hits with this video. I know he is a skilled shooter, but even then, I hear metal ringing more than other videos. That certainly gives a bit of curiosity to wanting a new HK. But wait...just get the HK...then worry about if we need it...
I’m so stoked for the new VP9. The updates solved many of the reasons that made me choose the Walther PDP instead (especially the kompact model that was missing with the OG VP9). My dad had the OG VP9 and for a full size pistol, 15 rounds made it hard to justify carrying a larger pistol. I know the newer VP9s eventually got the 17 round mags, but it still sucked at the time. $979 MSRP though is a tough pill to swallow. It will probably be around 850
Would have liked to have seen a side by side size comparison of the VP9 K, VP9 F, and the classic VP9 or some of the other pistols you cited as comparable. You could have done that at your desk and stayed warm, LOL. I too am a big fan of the paddle release. I love the fact that Walther built the PD380 with the paddle. I wish they made the paddle release an option on the PDP.
A firearms mfg. that listens to what its customers *want* and adds more features, a better trigger and no B.S. excuses (looking at you, SIG 😒). Color me impressed. Of course, I just purchased a Staccato C ... but I was eyeing a PDP. Would love to see this up against the Walther!
Thanks Chris. I love your videos because you just speak your mind. Bravo! I wish all reviewers would. You also make me laugh!! I am a grumpy old FUDD, not always easy to do, so good on you. My son is 34 and he likes HK pistols. He has several. I'm more of a cheap bastard and look to a more proletariat type of handgun, like a Glock, S&W or CZ. Thanks again and Happy New Year to you folks.
The modern touches seem promising, but I’d love to see how it stacks up in long-term reliability and performance compared to other heavy hitters out there.
I was a fan of the recoil impulse of the P30, P2000sk, and USPc 9mm pistols compared to the first gen VP9. I'll have to check out the VP9k, because if recoil feel is even slightly improved over the original, it could easily unseat the others as my top 9mm handgun.
The more I have seen your reviews of HK products; both the 9mm and 45 ACP, the more interested i get. Even though some may be dated, the total reliability and performance are giving me another choice for a bomb proof home defense pistol. But don't we all lust for a MK 23. 😅
@@andyholstein237 I've got an L too, would be the perfect gun if it had a Canik trigger. They screwed the pooch that model. HK sucks at innovation, just like glock.
I just found my PDP-F series that I misplaced and it's on duty as my EDC. My next priority is the 1301 Tactical series 2.0 for home defense. Then the IWI Zion Z-15. After that, I'll take a serious look at this new HK.
I have a VP9, old enough that i don't even have 17 round mags for it since i have so many 15 rounders. love it, love the paddle release, don't know if i feel any need to upgrade this though
As a current owner of a VP9 since 2015, the A1 model does look cool but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t disappointed with the removal of the finger groves. Getting Glock flashbacks with that and after carrying a vp9 w/groves for so many years, I don’t even like holding Glocks anymore so I doubt I’ll like that aspect of it
I like the grip options. It’s geometry is like the SAR9….which it should be as the sar is a love child of HK and Glock. I’d like to see you do some long term and torture test of the new SAR9 GEN3 and SOCOM
PDP's have been one of the most reliable pistols from what I have seen in my own experience, as well as what I have seen online. Hwansik Kim broke 165,000 rounds on frame and slide, I know he replaced some parts as recommended by Walther, but that's to be expected at that number of rounds. Personally though, I am not the biggest fan of the PDP's grip texture. I find it to be quite slick, and I wish Walther had just used a grip texture similar to Smith/Sig. You can of course use some silicon carbide, or get it stippled.
I too love the paddle mag release!! Quicker than a button release! Instinct when you get used to it!! Have VP9SK & CZ P10C, DONT LIKE ONE OVER THE OTHER! They are BOTH AWESOME guns!! P10C is the most accurate pistol I've shot other than a 1911

I have alot of pistols i like and some thay are definitely favorites just depends on wjat I'm in the mood for. The gen5 glocks are really accurate but to take advantage of there barrel you have to swap out the trigger.
@bartmaster2 I'm a trigger snob!! In my prairie dog rifles, 1st thing I do is replace triggers! In bolt guns I run 2 stage trigger tec diamonds. I like them to break at 12-16 ounces. On AR I run geissele national match triggers. On Mt long range guns 2nd stage breaks at about 6 ounces! Definitely no gloves allowed!! Have a Ruget SP101 That got full Jerry Michelek treatment.
On a defensive pistol that paddle release pretty much insures you will not have an inadvertent magazine release under pressure. If you think that never happens watch a lot of police shooting body cams. Mag can drop down just enough not to feed with a bad grip. Reloading speed is hardly ever an issue. Ask why 17+1 was not enough in the first place. Only due to mag dumping and spraying and praying. Love the paddle release.

Well the pdp pro trigger is definitely a better trigger than this stock hk. The issue with the pdp though is that it's snappy with a gigantic/thick slide. I would definitely choose the pdp over this hk because of the price but technically this hk is slightly nicer.
@@Shenmue06 I don’t find the PDP to be snappy, but the slide is bulky.
Man…I loved my VP9 the most of any handgun I have owned and have regretted selling it. Thank you for this, and all of your content. I am sold! By the way…your wife loves you so much and it’s great to see you two shot together often :)
Being a dedicated member of the HK Master race... I'm lookin for a new HK although the PDP Pro E is tempting me bad . . now seeing your review, this A1 has grabbed my face ,. . . and you might try a PDP Pro E with the new Walther trigger... so every things fair . . . and oh yeah -nice shootin'!
Out of dozens of handguns including some custom models, my VP9 is hands down my go to for the range and carry. It points naturally and I shoot super well with it. Love the controls and as a lefty the paddle mag release is amazing. No safety and three dot night sights is the way to go in my opinion.
I recently purchased the VP40. My first H&K. Not gonna lie I love it. Smooth as silk.
40S&W !👍
My vp9sk was my first HK, I was pretty blown away compared to the Springfield/glocks.
The VP40 is probably the best striker 40 ever
Long time H&K guy here. I've carried USP's of some variant for most of my life. I got my wife a VPSK to update the old Sig she had, and I honestly love that little thing for concealed carry. It makes me happy to hear they gave it some more TLC, and now it sounds like I might need to get the new compact variant for myself this year.
I hope this means an update for the P30 is coming soon. I don’t expect it, but I’d love to see it.
Lord I hope they don’t ruin the P30. I want to get another. Guess if I see some sudden “sales”, it becomes a priority
You shoot those VP9s extremely well. U would think u already had a dag on optic on it lol
I love the videos brotha. I agree with going with a PDP at that price point. I remember buying my first PDP because of one of your videos and I have never regretted it.
Hk actually extensively tests their guns before release.
That’s why the original vp9 couldn’t weather a drop of water
@@bev8200there were several other tests done including this one

@@bev8200whatever. YT addict. Any Guntuber can and will make a gun fail if it means so much as one more click...and MAC is famous for that cheap trick garbage.
Grow up
I seen that on macs video. I also seen a springfield 1911 beat a glock in multiple tests on texas plinking. Stop putting so much stock into a couple internet videos. Everything is ancedotal
Yo. Props to Bubba! His shooting is coming a long way. Way to go my man
I also noticed that as well
Ive been shootin handguns for 30+ years, you are a stupid accurate shot!!! Its ridiculous! Love the videos.
Thank you for braving the cold
It's cool to see gun manufacturers come out with updates on their guns. I'm looking at you, Glock...
When it's Glock perfection...upgrades are unnecessary.
I’d love gen6! I love my glocks but I also see them falling behind in certain areas
Versus video is a must!
Great review and Mrs Outlaw and Bubba are hammering it lately!! Thanks!!
Yes! Please do a PDP comparison and adverse conditions test!
VP9 SK has been my main EDC for a few years now. That thing is super fun and accurate to shoot on the range. Seems to land right on line every time you push it out at the target.
Anyone who watches this video should give you a thumbs up simply because you're outside in Iowa in January filming a review.
I absolutely love my HK vp9sk!!! With the Holosun scs by the way 😉🤙
Yes, please do a comparison between the new VP9 and PDP
I live in Kalifornistan and H&K finally made a VP9 version available for sale here but good luck finding one. I'm on multiple waiting list.
Condolences, hopefully someday soon the roster won't exist anymore.
When I open my safe and see the handguns, I have most are because of you guys , that’s not a bad thing… in other ways of looking at that I can say I don’t have other guns because of your videos.
Thank you for the video. Happy New Year’s.🎉
Same here…p-07, 10c, shield plus, pdp, etc.
Yeah PDP and new VP9 comparison video would be great!
I’m a big HK guy, mainly because I’m left handed. But the high HK prices and your reviews are what pushed me to Walther and Canik.
@Honest Outlaw
3:19 There was an early model called the P30X that had a bump behind the slide stop to rest the thumb against.
There are also options to have the slide lock mostly removed cause there was a contract that asked for it.
If it had the same coating as the USP and a threaded barrel, the price would be ok.
For that price I’ll stick with PDP and Canik. Thanks for another informative video.
Canik? What? They don't allow HK in your trailer park?
I sold my PDP because I just wasn’t good with it. Mad respect for it but I’m a HK guy and the VP9 is my favorite. Can’t wait to get my hands on one of these. I own every model VP9 made
As a proud owner of both the VP9 abd VPSK it's hard to miss what your aiming at with these models
Love the sound of the Christmas bells.
Looking forwards to trying one out.
yes comparison video, and as a third the USP/p8a1 to check how well the older ones keep up
YES! PDP vs VP9 A1
Appreciate you guys👏
Chris if H&K will listen to you, please ask them to develop an updated USP 45 (with the same magazines) with a picatinny rail, ambi slide release, large paddle mag release, and optics cut.
Probably never going to happen but...
Would this be about the same thing as an HK45 with 12rnds and an optics cut?
@@mwbeckessentially yes, but the HK45 changing to a 10 Rd magazine is annoying. The HK45, USP 45, and Mark 23 all use different magazines, it's wild.
H&K have forgotten that they even make hammer fired guns. If they were smart they would be trying to compete with the FNX and newer P220/226.
No we want VP9cc!!!
The reason being, the hk45, and p30, were meant to be the "updated usp". The only thing they haven't added, is an optics cut.
Out of all of my handguns my VP9 is my favorite. I wish all of my guns used paddles personally they just feel so much more natural imo.
Yeah I’m a vp9 guy and I’ve been thinking about picking up a pdp so I would love to see a vs.
I hope they make a P30A1 F
I love the VP9. Still miss it sometimes.
Yes! new pdp and new vp9 would make a nice vs vídeo
Dang you have awesome taste in guns
@@trevorshark16 Apparently you do as well. I wish my actual skills matched my taste in pistols but as with my golf game, shooting is a lifetime mastery pursuit that can never be satisfactorily perfected .
There's been some good new releases lately. I'd like to see new VP9 vs. Kimber Mako R7 carbon fiber vs. Walther PDP.
Thank you for releasing this HK, I ALMOST bought an SK, I'll be buying this instead. ETA: $980 msrp. Lol, I'll wait for them to come down to $700 like their P30 brethren.
I’m hoping they’ll drop around the summer or even sooner, I was gonna get a vp9 but minus well wait until the price on this one drops lol
Can’t wait to see what else they have for the future. Those Guys have been busy.
Best striker fired 9 on the market
As much as I love my HKs, now that I've found Masada I can't agree with you.
HK also got rid of the ridiculous trigger trough inside the trigger-guard. The magwell has been improved too on the VP9 A1 frame. Magazine floorplates have recesses for manual removal. All so much better.
That trigger trough would always pinch my trigger finger with each shot. Low key one of my favorite upgrades of the new one lol
Very impressive thanks for the demo!
@@Warhorse556 Yep, he is a salesman. If he can get people to buy guns from his shop with his content, that's what he is gonna do
You should review the Tisas PX-9 Carry. They offer side panels and back straps as well. I feel like it has a very good trigger on it. Any ways, just my 2 cents. Love your videos
The Tisas gets slept on, but the PX-9 is 🔥
I have the PX-9 tactical. Awesome trigger, customizable with the grip, and feeds everything I put in it.
@RidingandFlying I put around 900 round thru mine and never once had any kind of failure. They are for sure amazing pistols!!!
I’ve always been so on the edge of getting a VP9, but since getting the PDP Pro on sale, I don’t see a reason to. I’m happy they’ve released a model that apparently improves on the previous though.
Yes! Definitely a versus 🆚 video!
Love the VP9.
I was a fan of the recoil impulse of the P30, P2000sk, and USPc 9mm pistols compared to the first gen VP9. I'll have to check out the VP9k, because if recoil feel is even slightly improved over the original, it could easily unseat the others as my top 9mm handgun.
Chris always loves to mention how "big" he is lol
The more I have seen your reviews of HK products; both the 9mm and 45 ACP, the more interested i get. Even though some may be dated, the total reliability and performance are giving me another choice for a bomb proof home defense pistol. But don't we all lust for a MK 23. 😅
Yes, do the pdp vs new vp9 comparison and so the reliability tests in mud, sand and water
The trigger on the original was a gritty mess, so hopefully this is an improvement. At nearly a $1000, it's a tough sell over the PDP though.
You got a bad copy. Both my wife’s and mine are super crisp and clean, as good as the trigger job Grey guns does
. Nope, mine are both gritty compared to a really good trigger, try a Canik and you'll see.
@johnj8840 I'm talking about the sandpaper-like creep of the trigger. My VP9L is fun, but the trigger is nowhere near as good as my PDP
@@andyholstein237 I've got an L too, would be the perfect gun if it had a Canik trigger. They screwed the pooch that model. HK sucks at innovation, just like glock.
Gritty mess.... what ??? It's on par with p99 AS triggers
same happened to me,
managed to buy a CZ P07 cheaper because of the release of the new P09 C Nocturne
I've had the PDP for over a year but I've always wanted an H&K. Comparison video would be awesome!
Yes
PDP's have been one of the most reliable pistols from what I have seen in my own experience, as well as what I have seen online. Hwansik Kim broke 165,000 rounds on frame and slide, I know he replaced some parts as recommended by Walther, but that's to be expected at that number of rounds.
Personally though, I am not the biggest fan of the PDP's grip texture. I find it to be quite slick, and I wish Walther had just used a grip texture similar to Smith/Sig. You can of course use some silicon carbide, or get it stippled.
Well add that to my list to buy this new yr. Cz Shadow 2 compact and this new hk to buy.
I love my HK’s I have never had a malfunction with either of mine!
The full size is nice, never really got into the VP9.So many choices for striker fired guns.Might have to check out this newer version.
I'm a big fan of the paddle mag release.
I too love the paddle mag release!! Quicker than a button release! Instinct when you get used to it!! Have VP9SK & CZ P10C, DONT LIKE ONE OVER THE OTHER! They are BOTH AWESOME guns!! P10C is the most accurate pistol I've shot other than a 1911
@224valk4 ive got a vp9 and p10c as well plus a whole bunch of other pistols. I will probably end of with both of these new vp9s aswell.
@224valk4 yeah I'm the same way. I hate stock triggers... for the most part. But most triggers get swapped out almost immediately.
Definitely gotta do a VERSUS CHALLENGE also I’m excited to hear the 1k round review. This will be my first real home defense/cow that I get.
I clicked video to watch honest outlaw and the ad b4 the video was him talking about wall mounts. Caught me off guard, lol
Y'all need to check out the USP & P30 series....hammer fired!
Should paint your targets neon in the winter time Much easier to see
Red. Works for all seasons and is the easiest for the eye to see.
Yes that would be a great challenge PDP vs VP9
Yes do a versus Vp9 and PDP AND PLEASE DO A SIG P365 VS HK CC9 PLEASE!!!
Yes do the pdp vs vp9 with adverse conditions
