Have the VP-9 SK with all different lengths of the newer higher capacity magazines. Love it Your magazine grip extensions are excellent. I am older shall we say. I’m a little underwhelmed by this release. I feel like they tried to fix issues that didn’t exist on the VP9. I’d love to see one with an upgraded Grey Guns trigger (assuming they could partner with them and GG could manufacture at that demand), a gas pedal, optic cut, and maybe a built in comp. A race VP9 is the supreme evolution.
Lmao… HK never ceases to amaze me. A $900 polymer striker fired pistol is NOT what the US consumer wants. I’ve never seen a company so bad at delivering what their customer base wants.
And half of the people didn't want the new president. The 27 way grip panel ergonomics is the top of the design heap, that kicks all other choices in the huge market.
This is interesting. James explains it very well. If you wanted something lets say "Glock 19 sized" and thought the CC9 was too small - look at the VP9K. Meanwhile, I guess HK didn't see a huge point in the VP9L or Match and said let's just make the barrel and slide on the full size a little longer and keep the frame the same and keep using the same magazines as before. The problem is - I'm also a hammer-fire kind of guy. What about the VP9F is better than a P30L for me? They're similar sizes and price points. I'm taking the P30L all day long. If I felt I needed something larger than the CC9 for carry, I'd be all over the VP9K. I don't have a need for either of these. I do agree if you're a new shooter, the VP9K is probably the best gun you could buy. I think the sales numbers are pretty BS though. How often do you see a USP on sale for under a grand? If it's a Compact or Tactical model, I usually see them around $1200-1400. Now the VP9 models, I usually see around $550. We all know striker fired guns are much cheaper to manufacture as well, but in terms of gross sale numbers and net profits, has the VP9 series really outsold every other series of HK handgun? I find that hard to believe. I'll also throw this out there. I've purchased three USP and one Mark 23 ever. I sold a USP40 and USP40C when I got out of that caliber. I've kept the USP45T and Mark 23 and intend to keep them for life. I've probably purchased at least 10 VP9 in the last three years and I've only kept 1. The second I saw something remotely more interesting, I would drop them. To me, the VP9 is a disposable tool. One the other hand, guns like the USP, HK45, P30 are not just duty-grade weapons, but they're works of art. There is just something special about them that I can't quite put into words. A lot of people I know that own a USP own multiple. They never sell them. They only add more USP's over time. I wish HK would see it that way too.
As another individual who prefers to carry the hammer-fired HKs, here's a question for you: Does the new magazine for the VP9K fit the USPc/P2000? And by fit I don't just mean function, but fit flush? That would bump the capacity on those compact pistols from 13 to 15 (similar to how the full-size VP9/P30 mags went from 15 to 17 a few years back). That would be more interesting to me than the new pistol itself.
I know I'm not in anyway a person to have an opinion. But when the 4th book is complete. A new pistol, ar and sub package would be amazing. With all four book say limited to 1000 guns starting at 15,000-25,000
Are the magazines compatible with older model vp9. I must have missed them talking about it Thanks for the input. I love my original vp9 and have dozen mags

I bought a Glock 17 in 1994 senior yearoin Wasatch Front, bought a VP9 in 2015 and 20 other pistols since. I still shoot either the 17 or a VP9 90% of the time I have to shoot. Doesn't mean I don't like flare of 19/2011 or the new super polymers. I guess I just still like Glock and VP9.
I was able to get the VP9 and VP40 and great prices. I know they already have other pistols in .45, ( I have the HK 45c), but I wish they would come out with a VP45 or even a VP10 for those who love the 10mm.
I prefer the P30L (LEM) over any striker fired gun (second strike for the win). But, the VP9 and Walter PDP are my go to striker fired guns. I hear the VP9 A1 has a better trigger than the VP9. Is this true or marketing hype?
I mean glock gen 5 is not different plus everyone is going to stipple the frame anyways, there really nit much point to it because eveyone likes or has their own preferences in grip texture. I'm curious to know if the slides are interchangeable with the standard vp9. And if the previous mags are interchangeable as well which i assume so based on looking on the magazines patter and baseplate looks the same. Cause what I would love is having the A1 slide with the f and k for my EDC. On the standard vp9 frame
@Brett7777 ah, this video was released where I'm located at 3Am lol, nice to see that the mag are interchangeable on the full size sril of the orginal and the new full size vp9, slide he didn't really cover to see if it actually fit on the older vp9 frames I'm assuming it might. The magwells you can get on hk parts not too sure if that'll fit on there I'm sure Hk parts will actually make the same size magwell for the newer models as they did for the older ones. Gotta wait an extra 4 days of release before we can actually know if it's fully backwards compatible. I did try to see the magwell on the newer ones and the magwells you can get on hk parts I'm sure it will fit but not sure how well it will fit. But I know hk parts will make magwells for it
It’s fun to look at new guns but if I’m being honest I’m only buying guns with hammers now. And usually cylinders and rimmed cartridges. A return to tradition as it were.
How is the holster compatibility? I mean kydex cc holsters. That new texture on the frame or serrations on the slide change anything regrading dimensions?
I dont understand the hype of the VP9A1, it has minimal changes, an additional $200 and just trying to re-sell the VP9 line up. How about some real innovation like the CC9 like a rehauled USP 45 Tactical to give the FNX 45 a run for it money.

I wonder if the VP9A1K magazine will work in a USP compact?😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮
Bring back the FINGER GROVES!!! Don’t cave into this!! I love my VP9SK!!! Oh and give me a button please!! 🙏. ❤️👍🏼🙌🏼🇺🇸💪🏼🙏. Love your products HK!
Everything about the A1 is a subtle change or update, so if it's too pricey for you, just get the OG vp9 for ~$600 and enjoy.
Do you know if the new grip panels and back straps will fit on the original VP9?
I am not sure
Thoughts on vp9 a1 vs pdp pro sd???
“H&K is a company that’s always going to want to improve its products…”
“So there’s gonna be an optics ready USP/P30/HK45?”
“No. H&K still hates you”
Looks to be tuned well. There’s little to no muzzle bounce regardless of who shoots it.
I like my VP9 but the override lock back issue bothers me. Only on the HK.
I wish HK would have the stipple higher up on the grip sides instead of it smooth.
Check out Talon Grips
Can’t wait to get my VP9L
Do these have a better trigger than the hk 45?
I'm curious to know if the slides are interchangeable with the standard vp9. And if the previous mags are interchangeable as well which i assume so based on looking on the magazines patter and baseplate looks the same. Cause what I would love is having the A1 slide with the f and k for my EDC. On the standard vp9 frame
TFB tv covers that.
Couple of questions:
Can I use a standard VP9 threaded barrel in a VP9K?
Does the K use the mid-length magazines from the USPc and P2000?
Thanks!
Not happy that to get the full size grip you have to take a longer slide. Current slide and barrel length only come with the compact grip.
Hopefully, they will come out with a SK version. I need a VP 30 with update red dot cut silde, etc.
The common man’s HK, see they don’t hate the commoner people!
Nah. We just like cook stuff.
Will this model have a B version for those of us that prefer the push button release?
When is this being released? It's not on HK's website at the moment.

Another video I saw said January 7th.
Jake, when you were raving about your edc belt, what was the watch were you were wearing?
Seiko Arnie
I see Columbus Georgia has not changed
Do the current VP9 15 round mags fit in the VP 9 F?
