    Just by looking at Bruce's physique ( with a keen detective 👁️) U can tell what part of Bruce's body he paid a lot of attention to. The dedication of Lee's Forearms was incredible!! A man who was as heavy as his wife ( 128 pds or less) & an accomplish Wing Chun practitioner, the forearms are 1 Bruce would improve...he taught me ( from studying his Fighting Method Books ) part of punching power comes from massive mighty forearms!! I practiced Wing Chun today & still works on my forearms whenever I could

    And since so many Americans today are so convinced by this "bigger is always better" arguement: In answer to the question if Lee could beat the Hulk since it's brought up by fans. The late Sigung Richard Bustillo had Bruce's grip machine. Lou Ferrigno (The Hulk in the TV show) could not squeeze the same weight as Bruce did. Lou said, "I can pick up the weights, but I can't grip them." So Lee wasnt stronger as The Hulk or could beat him, but he had a stronger grip as Ferrigno.
    Lou Ferrigno: 6'5"/ 195 cm | 285-295 lbs / 129-133 kg
    Bruce/Junfan[Jun-fan] Lee: 5'7.5 / 172cm | 135-145 lbs / 61-65 kg

    • @chrisbach1533
      @chrisbach1533 Год назад

      Of course not all, thats why i wrote "many", but usually they like the biggest cars, the biggest buildings, and the population is in general overweight. (PS: Not you Alex, you are ripped and in good shape 🙂). So if it came across like some kind of "insult", then sorry, i didnt want that! 🙂

    • @TheKungFuGenius
      @TheKungFuGenius  Год назад +1

      Haha, no, I don't get insulted easily whether directly or indirectly (like me being American). I just thought it was funny stating that the "bigger is always better" mentality as uniquely American as if the fear of/worship of/deference to size were not clearly part of our human species. America has a thick skin which is why its easy to pile any ill or insult onto our country without us freaking out. I once sat in the home of a Tunisian gentleman who explained to me (for one hour) exactly what Americans were like (he didn't know I was American because I spoke German). It's fascinating.

    • @chrisbach1533
      @chrisbach1533 Год назад

      Thats a funny story with the Tunisian :). But cool your German is so good that people think you are German. Dann könnte ich ja auch auf Deutsch hier schreiben, but it's ok to me to stick with english because i am sure most of your viewers cant speak german. But this "bigger is better" thing has a long history. Did you ever see the 1987 classic "RoboCop" directed by Paul Verhoeven starring Peter Weller? This movie was the way how a dutchman (Verhoeven) sees America. The movie isnt just a thriller, action and sci-fi, its also a satire on America. There is this funny commercial with a dinosaur walking in an american city with the skyscrapers, and suddenly a big car emerges, bigger as the dino and the buildings. The buttom line is Americans would love to have cars as big as skycrapers, which are eating much gasoline. :D

I didn't know he was depleted down to only 120lbs when most shredded & at his death, yeah I certainly believe when he at his most peeled his body didn't begin to catabolized itself & all his muscles suddenly atrophied away to nothing as he already had good muscle mass & wasn't intentionally cutting.

      Great advice for anyone to follow! Now that I am older (39) and have had many serious injuries that I’ve recovered from, although never the same as before…and I’m now recovering from a broken foot, that swimming is the best option for me, and possibly the only way for me to get some physical shape back, and endurance to continue to practice the Art I’ve done since I was a child, and honestly know no other lifestyle than to continually challenge myself, in all ways possible.

    There's a much better way to apply that back excercise; We all
    know it. You can do it at a local gym. You know, the one where
    you're lying on your belly, on a soft bench surface, your lower
    legs are "Locked in" so they cannot move---and from there you
    simply 'raise' your torso up, with your hands behind the neck.
    This is infinitely more advisable than using a barbell positioned
    on your shoulders. Even Bruce made a mistake now and then
    while he was learning.

But Bruce is not here to show them and there is no footage of any of his real fights. But we know the truth.

    Did John Little write in 1998's "The Art of Expressing the Human Body" that the price of the Marcy Circuit trainer Bruce Lee paid for was $500 - or was $500 just the initial deposit required to hold it for him before shipping it to HK? Doing the math, $500 in '73 isn't that bad for the price of an entire home gym system. Adjusted for inflation, I paid more than that for my bowflex home gym.

Kevin had IN MASSIVE Forearms , he's like a human praying mantis!! VERY similar to Bruce's , Kevin didn't have a commitment to excise. His forearms like 2 ⚾ Bats connected to his elbows!! I used to envy & marvel at his arms wishing I had Arms like his. His had an average to medium build frame. I told him if he knew how to 👊 properly he could do damage to an opponent. • @NDoraku
    @NDoraku 2 года назад

    Like the first video with Little this was amazing again! Cant wait when he will be there a 3rd time again.
    Something about Gene LeBell since this story is so much in the talk these days:
    In an other podcast here on YT with Lawrence Rosenberg, Little stated (between minute 51-52) he wanted to fact check LeBells claims about taking Lee over his shoulder multiple times, but he always came up empty handed.
    LeBell doesnt like to confirm his stories when is directly asked. MMA reporter Ariel Helwani also asked him about his choke out of Steven Seagal, but he was scared to confirm it and avoided a straight answer. Helwani later interviewed Seagal and Steven answered about the claim: "If he really said that, then he is a scumbag liar!" And Seagal had a witness named Conrad Palmissano, a legendary Hollywood stuntman and former vietnam veteran.
    Years later (2021) stutnman Steven Lambert exposed LeBell as liar about the Seagal incident. And Seagal says about LeBell to his day:
    "He made his whole career in lying about who he beat up. He beat me up, he chocked me out, he beat up Bruce Lee, he choked out Bruce Lee, he beat up the footballer Jim Brown, then he killed someone and had to go into hiding, i mean the guy is a pathological liar. I promise you he never beat up Lee or Brown!"
    PS: Seagal is a pathological liar too "I knew Bruce Lee personally". But in this case his words seems to be true.
    Neither the star of The Green Hornet, Van Williams, or the stunt coordiantor Bennie E. Dobbins, ever made a statement about this LeBell-Lee incident took actually place, and they were there 24/7.
    And both of them also never said something like "LeBell was brought in to teach Lee respect" or "to settle him down".

    Now after hearing about the letters that Little saw throughout the years till his death, how was his writing style vs the writing style towards his drug letters. Close to the end with the drug letters cycle, his writing was not looking realistic especially closer to the end when the coc/coke cola stuff he was requesting. Just looking at them kinda was skeptical cause it was out of character from all the other writings he did. Yes we can argue if he was going through stress and depression, but they almost started to look forged. I am just spectating this though. If John little had some form is his writings towards of end of Lee's cycle, like a cross reference when he started writing for the coke addiction and acid and sorts, was his writing sloppy then? I dunno just thinking or speculating, cause those scans could be just perjury or what not. I am not not fully dismissing it all together, but i am just saying. Anyways have a great day. Thanks for these videos, much appreciated :).

    • @TheKungFuGenius
      @TheKungFuGenius  2 года назад +2

      I have many original scans of his notes, including his more formalized ones and his very informal jotting and scribbles. All these letters are consistent with his more concentrated writing and his fast scribbles. Many people want to find some way to not believe these letters, but this is wishful thinking. Also many of the more salacious letters include the envelope and postmark. Finally, believing everything is a conspiracy is just as loony as believing everything you read.

    • @yonakaryu
      @yonakaryu 2 года назад

      @@TheKungFuGenius lol like I said, I was not dimissing it all together but just spectating. I mean its understandable because he did hang out with movie stars later in his life, and most of the braking point was when he starting having major back problems at least I believe. Still, doesn't make me see him from any different from what he accomplished by far. Still my idol. On that note, just because he is my idol, doesn't make me wanna do the stuff he did. I admire him for what's he accomplished, and no matter what people say about his ability and talents, there is no doubt in my mind that he was the greatest of his time. If he didn't go down that rabbit hole, and if tuned down on the drugs, I believe we could have seen him grow older and maybe see how him test his mettle against all them naysayers. It's too sad, and too early, but it makes more sense now why he left so early.
