How do you request the letter if you are supposed to be discrete (especially from a member)?

If you need to request a letter, it could be from any Greek (I would check the guidelines of the application to be sure). Some members don't mind writing letters for you. I would recommend getting to know someone in the chapter.
Love Jones Great question! I strongly recommend you request a letter from someone you're comfortable sharing that information with. This is important because the person needs to know who to address in the letter. However, if you absolutely don't want to tell them, you can just give a generic, "oh.. it's for a particular project" reason. If the person is familiar with Black Greek life, then, of course they'll automatically know. All the best! 💗💚

I would like to ask a teacher I volunteer for she recommended I try for her org, because she thinks im a good fit. After doing research I do feel her org is the best for me. However, I'm concerned about asking her and then being rejected from the org. That would be embarrassing.
Love Jones I understand your apprehension, but sometimes you have to take that leap instead of wondering the "what ifs." Do what makes you comfortable, but if you get rejected. It's not the end of the world 😊

I have both of my letters ready, one of them is perfect however the other one has a few factual flaws. My GPA was not updated when she wrote it and she also mixed up a club I started way back in high school for a club I’m working with now. My Rush is on Sunday, but I don’t know if I should ask her to fix it because I feel that may be overstepping. She’s a well known instructor and band director on campus and is an active member of the sorority. With all of that being said, should I ask her to modify the letter or leave it as is?
Epcotapestry if it were me, I would politely ask her to correct it. Personally, I would want my factual information correct but it's not a big deal to you, you don't have to. You could always correct the information if asked about it during interviews! Best of luck to you!
