Never knew they were supposed to be Mini bosses, most of them were just big enemies lol. Proto Man and the big Met is what looked liked mini bosses to me though.
You should mainly count any of the mini bosses that you absolutely must defeat. The fish, you can jump over. The penguin, you can damage boost through. Protoman, (in mm7) you don't even need to fight him in the first place.
