It was 10 days of measurable symptoms, shifting the entire way, and finally after a full two weeks I can say I'm completely back to my abnormal self! LOL!

another week of great content! I LOLd when you fussed about overspray and saw you were painting the dash grill. I'm putting in cabinets, dishwasher, and starting to replumb the house with PEX A. Weekends are not long enough.

Thank you, sir! That PEX is SUPER easy. Had I known about it and trusted it several years back, I'd have saved myself a lot of labor and money on a few plumbing projects!

Glad you recovered from the covid! I have had it twice, 2nd time was a piece of cake compared to 1st. :) Put my wife in the hospital and she ended up with bilateral pneumonia. Take care of your lungs!! Covid damaged mine, and 3 years later I still have shortness of breath. Your paint is looking fantastic!! So happy for you. It has got to be a really great feeling to see that car with a new paint job! Go easy on your self for a while. :)

Wow! That's frightening! Hopefully it gets better for you over time. My wife was thinking it was breathing all those fumes, but when the fever hit, we knew something was up. Ended up both having it. But, we're a lot better now!

Yes! I would have loved to have continued painting miscellaneous parts this weekend, but the rain is intense so I had to do something else. That'll post tomorrow!

The mohair strips on the door garnish mouldings are usually held on with staples from the factory. I not have not found a way to duplicate that attachment method. Usually I use the smallest pop-rivets I can find so they don't scratch the windows.

I was going to go back with pop rivets, but then I saw a video where window felts were held in place with 3M urethane molding and trim adhesive. I have a couple of spare pieces and I'm going to test that method out first!

I will follow your video to see if that works. I like that idea better than the rivets. Thanks@@RestoringChristine1956

Love the color the garnish moldings the felts originally was stapled on and the window felts up in the doors where screwed I think not 100 percent

That seems to be what everyone is saying: staples. I'm going to do a bit of research to figure out what's best for a resto.

Truth told, it wasn't horrible, but it did linger and had symptoms that were stranger than anything else I've ever experienced. It's been a full two weeks now, and I think I'm finally past every symptom. Ten days into it and my legs felt heavy and I kept having periods where I'd space out (brain fog, I guess). All good now!
