I appreciate how Webber dropped KG. It was amazing how he could lock down any player but SHAQ! Every other player in the league had a tough time against KG.
Draymond averages 9 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists on his career. He is a good defender, but he isn’t at that legendary status he puts himself at. Had he been drafted by another team he probably would have been a journeyman, but he got to play alongside Steph, Klay, and Durant.
@@matthewfrohbieter1803 Casual. So Tony Allen who couldnt shoot at all and rarely ever came close to 10 points isnt legendary? R.I.P.
Ron Artest

Bruce Bowen was a great defender also. So many out there.
Yes he was, I grew up watching 90's basketball, I personally like Olajuwon, but there's so many.
Mason is also an offensive player, you think Green can match up against Anthony? lol
Can he guard Malone on the post or Barkley in his prime?
Mason guarded MJ in the post in 98 playoffs, the problem was MJ just faded away hahaha
So y'all gonna forget about one of the TWO only 4-time DPOY Big Ben Wallace!!

Shaq and Candace just don't want to get into a back and forth with Green, CWebb was being honest.
Scottie Pippen was the *BEST* on the ball defender EVER, and it’s shameful that he’s not even mentioned here.
He was a great off ball defender also
No he is not, and I'm huge Pip fan.
Agreed
Scottie Pippen was an amazing defender, but I think he is on par with Draymond defensively for the sake of this argument. In other words obviously not the greatest of all time but very very good
Phil himself says Mike was a better defender but carry on..
Dude is not on Rodman's level, and it's not even close.

He doesn’t even rebound that well he averages 6 rebounds, Steph averages 5, and has never averaged double digit rebounds,
I thought he did that 73-9 season lol
He's not a stats chaser, he's just capable. That's like saying Westbrook is better at basketball than Steph Curry or KD because he averaged a triple double season after season...
He was talking about rebounds. Rebounds are purely a statistical thing. If you get more rebounds then you’re the better rebounder, it’s as simple as that. Draymond is an average rebounder, and probably below average if you went by position
@@hrt45j86 definitely below average by position
@@hrt45j86 steph averaged less made shots, a worse shooting percentage, and less point than james harden. Who you want shooting the ball bud? Stats led the Houston rockets to tons of non ships. Stats are important but not the tell all, there's always more to a story. He's talking about ability, not stat sheets. also, he's fairly positionless so comparing by position against someone who plays positionless basketball is an odd way to compare. I'm not saying he's the greatest, I'm just saying, if we gonna disagree, then disagree properly. Dude can board. Dude can do everything defensively. Most 4s and 5s camp around the hoop. He is out on the perimeter quite often guarding the best scorer. it's just a very different way of playing the game. like he said, he sees it differently. Michael Jordan is the best and most underrated defender ever
Having confidence is good but be real Draymond
He was the anchor for the best defensive team for 3 years
If you can't tell the truth about yourself then you don't have confidence. What Draymond is displaying isn't confidence, it's generational naivete.

@Magic Dollas Patrick McCabe didn’t lead the defense and have 36 in game 7
Draymond averages 9 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists on his career. He is a good defender, but he isn’t at that legendary status he puts himself at. Had he been drafted by another team he probably would have been a journeyman, but he got to play alongside Steph, Klay, and Durant.
@@matthewfrohbieter1803 Casual. So Tony Allen who couldnt shoot at all and rarely ever came close to 10 points isnt legendary?
And Green actually adds offense and is the first to consistently guard the best player no matter what position and STILL is the main help defender without giving up points.
But hey the dude holding Lebron to 41% shooting of which only Kawhi comes close at holding Lebron to 43% since 2012, isnt a legendary defender lol.
@@Herosennin, first off Iggy did the majority of the guarding of LeBron. Draymond is a good defender and passer. He’s not a good offensive player and he isn’t a good rebounder.
