I REALLY like this way of carrying one’s firearm. It’s quick and accessible but best of all being on one’s chest, it’s also in a good position to prevent someone from taking it from you. There’s no sneaking up on you. Best of all, it will comfortably hold a full-size pistol and that’s FABULOUS!!!
I don’t know about their weapons lights, but I have been using Olight flashlights every day for three years and I am still a repeat customer. I’m a truck driver, and a good flashlight is critical for my job. Olight has been good to me
More recently the reports are more favorable for sure. Early Olight, not so much. I will no doubt be getting one sooner than later. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the great review. I ordered the newer version because of this video and I run a holosun on my 43x with a trl7. I too wear gym close 95% of the time and think this product will be great! Thanks for the discount code and great content. Excited to get mine and put it to work.
They also just released the smaller bag without the velcro strip. And don't forget you can use the discount code SORTOFTACTICAL10 I get nothing from it except the bag they sent me. I like these so much!
I have a Smith and Wesson 5.7 and I just checked with them, this bag won’t fit it, but they said they will have one in 3 months 😊. However, a 1911, without an optic, will fit this bag.
Another excellent, down to earth real world review, thank you! I like to watch a few videos of people’s content before I subscribe, but I just subscribed after watching the second video, lol. Well done!
It comes down to what you want to carry (gun) and how much other stuff will be in the bag. I miss carrying my G19. The 365XL is my sons and I carried it for a while but I do not like it. I also only carry a wallet, keys, pen light and cash.
In the SOCP you carried more stuff, this bag is more minimalist. Which are you liking better? I gravitate to minimal but feel like if I’m gonna carry a pack I may as well have one large enough to carry a few extra basics.
I like this one a lot more. I can still carry a wallet, extra mag, knife and keys very easily. I will also be ordering a mag pouch to go inside the gun compartment. That will free up the rear pocket even more. I do not miss carrying the SOCP AT ALL! It gets dicey, more room means more stuff 100% of the time. I have decided to carry just a bit less, but with better access to the handgun. Like, 1000% better access to the gun.
@@Titus_Strickland I still have the other small accessorie bag. I really don't like using it. I am really sick right now, 102.5 fever, so in a few days a will do a direct comparison
I was thinking about this bag and the Vertx ones. If you have one of them too or could get one that would be a great comparison. Thank you for this video
The additional strap comes of really easy. The main strap does not come off all the way as it is sewn into the bag. If that didnt answer your question email me and I can send pics: sortoftactical@gmail.com
I think it’s worth it. You’re getting a holster included with your purchase. Not just any holster. One specific to your firearm. I have done extensive research on a new bag this is by far the better option.
I have spent more after buying a cheaper bag because I would still have to buy a holster. I understand the initial sticker shock but if a 10% discount would matter my discount code should still be good: SORTOFTACTICAL10 I still carry mine to this day. No other bag has been anywhere near as good for me.
Whenever I see someone wearing such a bag, I immediately think he has a gun inside. More than likely it is true, particularly if they are wearing it around their upper body. Therefore, is a person really doing concealed carry, in other words not making it obvious you do not have a gun. It seems like a person can easily take the gun from the sling bag versus taking it off of your waist. Especially if it is more concealable carrying on the appendix.
Nathan-I hear what you’re saying and I think the same thing when I see someone with a fanny pack/sling bag, etc, lol. However, it seems more and more people are using these bags for more than just carrying firearms, at least in my opinion. However, for some people, using that system works well and allows them to carry some extra needed supplies such as personal medical supplies. I don’t think there is a one size fits all approach to CC, you use what works for each individual.
You’d be surprised. A lot of people are actually not that aware. Mainly because a lot of people wear bags like that for fashion. The only people who may quickly catch on are other responsible concealed carriers
Nobody buys my honesty. My integrity amd honest words are free for all. I do understand it is hard to believe that in this culture we live in. If I did not like the bag I would have said so, or returned it with no video completed. I have returned dozens of products that I will not get behind. I do not like that it is made in China. I challenge you to look around your house. If your conviction is so strong there should ne nothing from China there.
Exactly why I would not buy one of these. For this kind of money it should be 100% made in the USA....like Hill People Gear...this china stuff should be half the cost of something made in the USA.....so like MAYBE $75 bucks.
Be careful being the "Gray Man" as it's almost as bad as open carry. You're giving the bad guy an awareness that you might be a CCW and someone who they should handle first.
They don't have a $200 bag. Maybe after shipping and taxes, perhaps. America is surely a wonderful place. You literally don't have to buy something because someone on you tube liked it.
Based on what? Not trying to argue, just curious about where you are coming from. If you have a bag that you would recommend please do so and I will try and get one soon to test out. I have no further obligation to this company and will most likely not re-engage with them in the future. Given that, this bag is solid. Better than any 5.11, VertX, or Eberlestock that I currently have. Hope to hear from you and thanks for watching.

Add sewn in kevlar to it so your heart is protected. And some sort of anti slice to the straps so it can't be stolen by a slash and grab.
@@jetguyfly1 that would really cost a lot, but it would be sort of cool

It is a direct from glock model. Used to only be available to "special" guys but they are out there now
How long is the strap? If you wanted to wear it looser or lower on your chest how adjustable is the strap?
I haven't measured it but I have over a foot of strap extra. For reference I wear a size large shirt. 44 inch chest. 5ft 11in.
What company makes the extra mag option you are talking. About ?
Blue Force Gear: www.blueforcegear.com/single-pistol-dapper
Does anyone know if the smaller QAPS bag will fix a xmacro with a holo? They told me it wouldn’t fit with the holo but I feel like I can make it fix…
The Xmacro is already 5.2 inches while the bag is only 5 inches. Doesn't look like it would work. The large really isn't that big.

Are concealed carry permits needed for this style of carry ?
@MkVi-mf3mr carry permits depend on your state. I am not aware of a restriction to this type of carry though.

It sits way too high up the body. It really needs to be designed to place lower around the stomach & not move when you pull the tag.
You can carry it around your waist as well. Not really sure what could be done better for placement.
