You REALLY must react to Disney Princess Medley where each of the ladies is spotlighted as a different princess. Breathtaking!
It is coming after the holidays Rick, I can’t wait!
Tiffany, the 2nd soprano, slays her solo in their version of the Impossible Dream, really emotional and masterfully arranged song, I think you'd enjoy it.
I will have to check that out gegio, thanks!
Also, Oh Holy Night.
Their blend is just phenomenal, each are awesome singers individually, but when they come together it's just awesome! This is one of my favorites of theirs and EJ knocks it out of the park.
I agree 100% Merryl, thanks for watching!
Jamie Ray, the tenor in the very middle (back row) writes all of their arrangements. He arranges specifically to each one of their gifted voices.
Awesome!
And he does it extremely well I would say lol, thanks for the info and for watching Michael!
Wow. They sing with such passion, I actually think more so than some other groups. Thanks for sharing; I never saw/heard this one.
My pleasure Deb, thanks for watching!
when I turned on this song at home for the first time, performed by Voctave, the glass in my windows started to change into stained glass 😛
Haha, I wouldn’t doubt that one bit! Thanks for watching!
I stopped counting how many times I got the goosebumps.... I totally got why your expressions got even more explicit than they already usually are.
Lol it’s just crazy Jiska, thanks as always for watching and for your kind words!
I love, love, love your reactions. You translate the enjoyment and anticipation and experience to your expressions and body language in a way that is both enjoyable and hilarious to watch. And you were, like so many of us, a little short of breath at the end after EJ held that last note. Well done!
Thank you so much Wendi, I am glad it comes through on the camera!
My friend....you have been listening to THE MASTER CLASS of vocals...That's all I can say
Next you should react to voctave doing OH HOLY NIGHT, The ladin the back you spoke about, she does the lead on this song. its awsome
Great reaction! EJ really nails the solo. As for what note Kate sings at the end, that's an F6. You mentioned Tiffany can't sing as high as kate, which is correct, but she finishes O Holy Night on an Eflat6, almost as high. She can still get way up there, it's just harder for her. As far as I can tell, it seems to me that she had a range like Kate's when she was younger, but her voice has settled a bit with age, leaving her with the notes, but not the effortlessness.
Thanks Charlie, I agree he is so good!
9:42 Kate just sang an F6 Soprano high note!! It's out of this world!!!
Insanity, thanks for the info and for watching!
@@rocksolidreactions3901 no problem!😊
Beautiful!
I agree Lisa, thanks for everything!
Great reaction! Enjoyed it very much. It has to make you excited to know you haven't even heard their best material yet. Jamey Ray , top row middle man, does all their arrangements. He is a genius! Gimme more reactions..... :)
I can’t wait 12ozHog, they are coming don’t you worry 😁
I enjoyed your reaction as it is refreshing to see how much you enjoyed the beauty that that is Voctave. You may enjoy Voctave’s version of Joy to the World. It is a crazy mashup of Joy to the World and Handel’s Hallelujah Chorus.
I will have to give those a listen, thanks for the suggestions and for watching Ron!
I love Tiffany's face at 3:24 when she turns to look at EJ because she knows whats coming - they are all awesome, but EJ is my favourite. So glad he didn't win X Factor when he was on it... not sure he even got through boot camp which is just ridiculous...Jamie Ray is their Ben Bram (PTX) - super talented and so difficult with 11 or more voices - including his own !!
It’s just crazy Jo, thanks for the info and for watching!
@@rocksolidreactions3901 Thank You for putting the work in for us - much appreciated as always.
Great reaction. They're pretty good... huh? As for specifics, the soloist is EJ Cardona, the happy soprano is Tiffany Coburn, and the arranger of all Voctave compositions is Jamie Ray. For more of Tiffany, check out "Impossible Dream" or "Oh Holy Night". Enjoy!!!
Pretty good, lol you are funny Douglas, thanks for the info and for watching!
That's Tiffany. Check out O Holy Night for more of her.!!
They also do a great job on CAROL OF YHE BELLS , Then after christmas you really should react to voctave MOVIE MEDLEY, all blow off your socks videos
That is on my list for sure Travis!
Kate’s either hitting that highest note herself or it might be an overtone because the group as a whole is on point on that last chord. Such a beautiful display of God’s talent for sure!
I agree 💯
I saw an interview Jamey Ray gave and he said it was wonderful to write for E.J. and Tiffany and Kate rather than Tenor 1 and Soprano 2 and Soprano 1. He knows exactly what each person can do and writes accordingly.
Tiffany is just as happy and nice in person as she is on video.
Voctave members are given the music in advance but they do not practice together until they meet in the recording studio or performance hall. Yeah, they are THAT good.
Thank you for a genuine positive reaction.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
That is truly amazing Becky, thank you so much for your kind words and for watching, Merry Christmas!
The main guy singing here, his name is EJ CARDONA not sure what EJ stands for, unless its really his whole name
Thanks for the info and for watching travis!
You need to meet Tiffany Coburn, please react to O Holy Night and Impossible Dream. She is the one that expresses more joy when she sings than any other human ever has.:)
Now that you've heard EJ Cordona sing, you should listen to Superstition, done by Voiceplay. It was made for Halloween but is an amazing song and EJs brother Omar Cordona sings in that one. Talent definitely runs in that family.
I will have to check that out Teresa, thanks!
@@rocksolidreactions3901 you are welcome
For a completely different take on this traditional hymn, react to Pentatonix’s version. I’d love to see your jaw drop. Spoiler, they’re backed by a choir at the end.
This version by Voctave is great, and so was your reaction.
Thank you so much bingobillable!
I don't think you need to worry about copyright claims from them. Sometimes members of the group, Tiffany Coburn in particular, comment on other reactors' videos. They love stuff like this.
That is really cool of them Joy, thanks for the info!
To hear Tiffany upper notes listen to O Holy Night
One of the members of the group does all their arrangements.. His name is Jamey Ray.
Talented folks all the way around, can’t imagine even where to start with arranging something like this! Thanks for watching Rondy!
EJ, the tenor who has the lead voice on this piece. Tiffany is the soprano, and Kate is the soprano who sings in the rafters. I believe each singer is TRULY followers of CHRIST, so they genuinely believe every word. I hope you heard those "OVERTONES". Only those who sing with accuracy, can produce "overtones". Thank you to Jamie and Tony, who lead this group!!
Voctave has a medley for prince of Egypt.
I will have to check that out rjsishi, thanks!
you have to listen to there disney medleys
Definitely on my list Melina, thanks for watching!
Tiffany. Sings. In. The. Rafters. And. Kate. Sings. In. The. Stratosphere. 1st. Saprono. Tiff. Is. 2nd. Saprano
Now you need to do the Pentatonix version
Agreed! They are not the same at all; it'll be like listening to a whole different song really.
Ya I know, PTX did an amazing job with theirs
PTX’s Mary Did You Know as well...Both are different from Voctave’s and WELL worth a listen!!!
@@wendischambach6181 PTX❤💙💚💜🎶
Pentatonix did this song years ago with Avi. More upbeat. Dancing and grooving vibes.
I will have to check that out Kimberly, thanks!
Normally they would be whistle tones, but they are not for her. It's her vocal type and classical training. I think she goes up to at least a F6.
Just crazy! Thanks for the info Rachel!
Know, too, that there's more than one bass. JC (front left) is no longer with the group is a bass. Karl, the black gent on the right is a former barbershopper and a killer bass. Kurt, behind Karl, sometimes also sings bass, but I don't know which line he's singing in this chart.
Tiffany. Coburn. Who. By. The. Is. 6.3. Tall
