This is my absolute favorite version of this song, EJ just blows it out of the water!
EPIC. chills.
I'm emotional
That man's name is EJ Cardona, one of the greatest tenor I've ever heard. Another stellar arrangement of theirs is Come Thou Fount of every blessing, no one has reacted to it yet and very few people know it exists though I remember Jamey Ray saying is one of his favourite arrangement. Plus, Ej and Kate trade some high arpeggios in it and I love that. Also their version of You Have More Friends Than You Know (Glee) is really good, just a couple of different members back then when they recorded
Amen to that!! He's superhuman!
Thankyou so much holy cow this grew gives me chills they are so incredibly the bass and supranos I'm getting goose bumps
that is one of my favorite hymns and their version is by far my favorite
Thank you for putting me onto Come Thou Fount. I don't know how I missed this one. I've been a fan of Voctave for a while now. Just heard this one for the first time.
Every now and again, a choir of angels speak to us through singers.
I love you comment. Beautiful words.
agreed, the way they smile so gently when they sing, its really as if angels are singing
Yeah, made me cry too. I have never heard anything sung with such passion and beauty. That gentleman lead has an AMAZING GIFT and you can hear and see the passion in his and all of their voices. LOVE THIS! TFS
E.J.Cardona began at Walt Disney World as a cast member on the Great Movie Ride in Hollywood Studio at WDW. He then auditioned for Voices of Liberty who sing at the American Pavillion in EPCOT. Most of the Voctave members are past or present members of Voices of Liberty.
The man in the middle of the back row is Jamey Ray who founded Voctave and arranges all of their music.
Merry Christmas!!
He held that note 24 seconds and crescendoed and went up at the end simply amazing
"I have not done enough reactions to Voctave." this is just true for every person honestly XD
Stellar arrangement (Jamey Ray in the middle at the back is the resident genius in this department), outstanding singing from the whole group, and truly exceptional lead by E. J. Cardona. A great choice for Christmas Eve, definitely an unforgettable rendition of this great carol. "All is well" is another beauty, as well as one already suggested "This is my wish / let there be peace" (ideal for the New Year perhaps?). Appreciate the genuine reaction.
EJ Cardona! Man, Myth, VOCTAVE TENOR LEGEND! His range is JUST PHENOMENAL!!!!
They can definitely bring someone to tears
And that person is me 😭
Voctave's version of "Mary Did You Know" with Mark Lowry (who wrote the lyrics of the song) will bring the tears, too. Powerful! Worshipful!
Best rendition of all time!! They are the GOATS!
Next-Voctave O Come O Come Emmanuel!! Kate Lott (that High Soprano) just forgot that she's human!!!👽😨😱
I agree! yes they are all so good, but she sounds so much like an angel when she sings! ❤️
E. J. CARDONA

A great video by Voctave is a cover of Mary, Did you know (feat. Mark Lowry). Mark Lowry is one of the co-writers of the song.
I feel ya man. I heard this version for the first time this year as well and it brought me to tears. I then went on a full Voctave binge and I recommend you guys do the same. Beautiful humans they are.
You will also be amazed at O Holy Night with lead by Tiffany Coburn. Another GOAT arrangement/solo
They are awesome and this was wonderful. Instead of a group, I always think of them as a small choir. They are so talented.
So Tiffany and Kate are the two sopranos. Tiffany was the one on the 2nd row on this video and Kate was in the 1st row, so you're correct on the names. You've also guessed one of the basses correctly, the other being the man in the middle on the far right (I don't actually know the names of the basses, sadly!). As for their soloist in this, his name is EJ Cardona and he may just be my favorite tenor singer I have ever heard.
check out the prince of Egypt Melody by Voctave.
7:55 "Jesus, to Thee be all glory given". I'm with you brother. When EJ sings those words, looking upward, it gets me every time.
Your comment about how he sung the name of Jesus…I 100% felt that!!
I ugly cry everytime I hear this version.
This took my breath away. This arrangement was stellar and EJ was simply brilliant!!! His tenor voice is beyond compare. This is a standout, and my favorite cover of this beautiful song of all time!
Just...yeah........EJ is amazing. So thankful that I got to sing with him in our choral group at Disney, Encore Cast Choir and Orchestra! He is SO amazing and such an amazing human!
Voctive performance of Mary did you know with the composer singing with them still gives me chills. They will never let you down in a song well done.
I saw a comment that EJ has two sets of lungs!!!! All of them are just amazing.
I truly believe that we are moved by EJ's voice because we all know that his extraordinary vocals can only come from one source, the almighty God. So fitting that he is using his gift to sing praise to the birth of our Lord and Savior.
Haha they got you too welcome to the club.
I love your reactions so much and look forward to you reacting to more Voctave songs.
I’d suggest one of their slower and softer covers “Moon River” or “Over The Rainbow “! They prove they can sing just as beautiful and powerful in pieces that aren’t as big and belty!❤️ love your genuine reactions!
If you want to be blown away by EJ again you should react to. "this is my wish/let there be peace on earth" it is one of my favorite voctave songs. The other really amazing one you should hear is thier prince of Egypt medley.
YAAAASSS! BOTH OF THESE SONGS 100%!!!
What EJ does on this song is not humanly possible! Absolutely incredible! The blend and intonation of the group is impeccable, and Jamey's arrangement was divinely inspired! I've listened to this hundreds of times, and I get goosebumps and chills down my spine EVERY single time!
This gives me the best tears 😍
late to the reaction but i tear up every time i hear this. i don't think there is another version that is as fervent and heartfelt as this one
Blown away by the voice but they are all so composed and smiley ...it’s crazy!
Oh and the lead is EJ Cardona.
And shout out to the middle guy in the back who does all the arrangements for this group.
New live Performance by Voctave " Manger Medley " . Karl Hudson's "Basso Profundo" is incredible.
EJ Cardona & David Phelps are incredible Tenors ... Kate Lott (the blonde in front row) hits the ultra-high notes
I first heard EJ doing a cover of Go the Distance with Voiceplay. Fell in love with his voice. After hearing this...he has to be one of the best voices I have ever heard. Just amazing.
No words! Simply amazing! I Love That!
I’ve heard Voctave many times, and gets me everytime! The first time one of my students played them for me all I could manage to say was “my leg is broke!”
Hi Dennis. That gentleman's name is E.J. Cardona and he has a great voice as well. Extra bit of fun information if you would like it; he is related to the gentleman who featured in the Voiceplay Superstition cover, his name is Omar Cardona. I wanted to double check what I wrote down. All true according to Google.
I hoped this helped. Much love from Australia and may you have good Christmas season blessings as well.
Holy Shit. I literally just fell in love with you! My absolute favorite person / reactor ever!
EJ and Kate are so gifted!.....as are the rest of this group! Tony directs them into one huge sound!
Absolutely phenomenal!
Check out Voctave doing our national anthem. I've heard it a million times as a sports fan but I've never heard it done like Voctave. Best ever!!
I agree. After listening to Voctave's version of the national anthem, any other version by anyone else makes me cringe!
Amen to that. Wish they could do that before the Super Bowl or some other special national event!!!
Take a look at Voctave singing "Someone like you" featuring Jody McBrayer... another huge hit to enjoy.
You should react to their princess medley 🙌 their amazing soprano blew me away
This was a great reaction to E.J. Cardona who is the male lead in this song. His voice is amazing in this one he also has a shared lead with 2 ladies in another of their songs called this is my wish/let there be peace. Here is the link for this song with E.J sharing lead ruclips.net/video/oXreNYWtjPQ/видео.html
Another great medley is off their new album in which the do a medley of the Prince of Egypt here is the linl for that song as well both song are great Voctave will blow you mind with these hope you enjoy them. ruclips.net/video/2iyWMt1Me0Y/видео.html
YAAAASSS!! BOTH OF THESE YAAAASSS.
I like how he left the part with the ad in
Don't forget about "Prince of Egypt", my gift to you!! I'll be in Columbia, MO next month to see them live!!😀
There are 2 ways to deliver a gospel song. 1. Sing it. 2. Minister it. EJ Cardona ministered this song to my soul. I feel like this is what you were trying to say about his delivery.
Everyone has said it’s EJ Cardona, but I don’t think anyone has mentioned yet that he is Omar Cardona’s brother, who did a collab with VoicePlay on their Superstition cover, which I believe you reacted to.
EJ also did a collaboration with Voiceplay
PLEASE react to voctave king of Egypt medley! It’s so good that I cried (and I never cry)
This is my favorite of all of their pieces. I would also suggest their version of Mary, did you know with Mark Lowry (the writer of the song). It’s phenomenal. Merry Christmas!!
By far my favorite version ever!
This is my first time watching you. I love love love you. Your genuineness touched me just as much as this beautiful song. I love it.
Hi King! I’m Nicole! It’s an honour to meet you!
Beautiful!
Stunning performance! Just wow!!🙏
I love EJ voice, man he held that last note then went up an octive,he was at the end of that breath, you could see his face twitch near his eye. Voctave is not from this planet
Went up a fifth, not an octave
I loved your genuine reaction. Made me tear up! Just got yourself a new subscriber
Came to see your reaction and realized you were at "499 likes". So I had to give you some love and gave you #500. Been following you for a few years now and this is by far my favorite reaction. God bless, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2022!!!
EJ Cardona and Voctave are the best vocal group we can enjoy .
Prince of Egypt medley from them will break your brain.....i promise lol
That bass though
The emotion in your reaction mannnnn! Consider me a fan :) subscribed
Love your reactions. Yes, more Voctave! Please do some of their Disney covers with your family. 🎶💖🎉 PS, if you haven’t already please react to Mary, Did You Know. You will be equally moved. 🎉🙏🏼
That tenor is EJ Cardona and he began his career as a cast member on The Great Movie Ride at Hollywood Studio in WDW. Then he moved to the Voices of Liberty who sing in the American Pavillion in EPCOT, also at WDW.
Voctave has taken many of it's members from Voices of Liberty.
The high first soprano is Kate Lott. She is the blonde lady second from the right, first row.
The 2nd high soprano featured around 7:14 is Tiffany Coburn. Tall blonde on the back row. Also a member of "Voice of Liberty."
You should do Voctave Prince of Egypt reaction. Its is crazy good.
Have to agree with the others. You NEED to listen to and react to their Prince of Egypt medley
I'm emotional
If you check out oh come oh come Emmanuel you will find out who the high Soprano is
If you like this one check out oh come oh come Emmanuel
I had the same reaction!!
Have you heard their Disney princess medley? If not, that is a mistake! I have rarely heard anything that beautiful.
I’m so very late to comment but I hope at some point you realized this is Omar Cardona’s brother ❤
Once again I’m going to ask you to check out ringmasters doing you’ll never walk alone/climb every Mountain. Thank you!!!
With all these great Christmas songs you have on your channel why are so few if any of them on the radio‽ Why do they only play the same old versions of songs on the radio‽
You like this one check out there video of oh come oh come Emmanuel

What a beautiful version by Voctave. Can't WAIT till you here the PENTATONIX version❄⛄
You should react to the Pentatonix version it is soo good!!!!!!
Pentatonix Sucks rocks. No comparison to Voctave...
you 've changed...
Ugly cry every time I hear this.
Ruth here, nope nope nope, l still like mennonite choir much better, sing it like it is written
I like Voctave ... a lot but, they don't quite have the impact in their arrangements that Pentatonix has all but trademarked.
Your reaction was good......but this is my second song of theirs today.....and I am Not a fan
to me just the standard church choir.....sorry Gang
