Speaking as a network engineer, the reason is still packaging BT 5 and WIFI 6 is that there is very limited deployment of the more current specs. This introduces risk - to use the newer - that the standards may continue to evolve and or iterate.

I disagree with one of your points ... The Studio is not the replacement for the 27" iMac, it's the replacement for the 27" iMac Pro. I think that the 27" iMac will return with the M2 refresh of the iMac, so there will be both 24" and 27" versions of that M2 iMac. Whether there will ever be another iMac Pro remains to be seen.

I don’t think the Mac Studio replaces the Mac mini pro. Apple doesn’t offer the M1 pro in the Studio. I imagine the M1 pro will be offered as a upgrade option on the mini soon.
The new version of Blender that just came out now has a checkbox for MetalRT, marked experimental. Wait, MetalRT? Macs don't have ray tracing hardware. Looks like that's about to change!

Apple silicone has ram bound to silicone. It sucks for upgradability but it’s worth it for the performance you get out of it. The SSD should be replaceable but probably not.
April is not the time to announce it, it’s also gonna feature the next generation of Apple silicon which is likely gonna be even more scalable, like 4 dies connected together or something like that
There has to be a way to use the 27inch iMac screen as a monitor for one of these M1 Minis or Mac Studio there has to be a work around🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 it’s just to much money as a average user to try and come up with🤔

That some how Apple is moving closer to PC’s than being their own identity. Look how ugly that Studio box is below that screen? Honestly, have the accountant department designed that thing? They need to sell brackets to hide that thing below your desk.
Only when Apple gets serious about gaming and offers incentives to developers. They finally have the horsepower for AAA gaming and it's a multi-billion dollar market so sooner or later they're going to come for Microsoft/Intel/AMD/nVidia's lunches. In the meantime, we have Parallels and CrossOver.
Problem with iMacs is that their lovely displays could easily serve at least two generations of cpu/gpu's. Such a shame tossing them just because the computer-hardware dates way faster than the display.
Anyway the Studio with M1 Max is clearly a replacement for the top iMac that was priced $3,100 making the difference shorter, but if you think that the top iMac Pro was $7,399 the M1 Ultra studio setup is cheaper, $5,900, the Mac Pro top of the line with afterburner is 24,600!
Well it might be more powerful than the 12900 but it is limited too, will it run Linux or Windows or play windows games?Will it become obsolete before it quits working?It is cool though!
Not using BT 5.2 and Wifi 6e? Pandemic supply chain issues. Apple needs huge numbers of chips. Probably can’t source them reliably enough. Also, Apple has iCloud switching, which might need to be reworked to use 5.2.
Which the Mac Studio would have been just a bit cheaper. Still saving and getting it! Im going for the Ultra. I know its a lot but I rather save for that one since it will future proof me for about 10 years lol

Yeah, and you shouldn't miss it too much. Apple is keeping the 24 inch iMac at the lower end for consumers who want more simplicity than anything else. For consumers who want more flexibility, they can get the Mac mini. And for professionals there is the Mac Studio and Mac Pro who want ultimate power and flexibility more than anything else.
The only good choice would be a Mac mini M2 inside the AppleTV box with 4 Thunderbolt 4 ports. So start to work Apple engineers and make it real before summer 2022.
Please test the Studio Ultra 20 core with “Ethereum” Mining[Benchmark Testing Section]. I hope it is fast enough in “MegaHash” to start a fire storm on the net == Apple Studio is “Better Than GPU Mining.”
The Mac Studio is expensive overkill for the vast majority of Mac consumers. The Mac Studio is just the latest in a long line of Mac duds, that briefly claim bragging rights then rot under Apple's dragged out neglect. Why kill the 27" iMac Retina? It is the perfect workstation.
I do not get why to brag about 128gb of vRAM it is shared, you'll have to use the RAM. Some tasks might eat the whole 128gb ram. Btw for those apple lovers. xD. Do not get me wrong, what i lvoe the most of this buddy is the energy efficiency

Shut the hell up. The Mac mini will be kept in the lineup at the lower end since that's what most people need. Apple has been very innovative and a successful company under Tim Cook. Apple's AR/VR headset is coming out in September 2022.
