This performance is what made me an instant fan! I've been blessed to see Nathaniel perform (with and without the Night Sweats) nine times since then!
I was acquainted with Nate and Joe (bass player) back in the day when they were in the band "Born In The Flood". Such good guys to hang out with at a party. I never knew Nate well, but Joe and I liked our chats. So wonderful to see them hit it big.
I just saw them last week for the first time and I'm dying to see them again.

What an amazing performance! The entire Roots band playing side by side with them they look like they were having so much fun. Imagine how much they were jamming during commercial breaks or just their rehearsals. Would love to see those moments.
I know the shows instrumentalists are also playing here but i think they’re best new rock band around. I heard them live (from behind the stage) on Daniel Island, Charleston, SC. two nights. Rockin band!!! Thanks guys!!!

I got to see Nathaniel and the night sweats at Leesburg Maryland farm aid concert. Before they hit the stage it had been an enjoyable laid-back afternoon watching the various artist, and no one was really moving around paying much attention, but it was a nice afternoon of music. I’ve never seen a crowd that size go from relaxed to jumping up and down clapping their hands stomping their feet, and just enjoying the night sweats so much , it was amazing !! The place was jumping!
Same in Hartford both times they played.

Just saw these guys play Rogers Arena in Vancouver on Saturday with Ruby Waters and City and Colour. What an amazing show! So much fun!

This is by far on of the best songs and performances I have ever seen. For whatever reason it was taken off line for years. But with it's return it lead me to see some awesome similarities between another song from 1987. Made this short video about it.

This concert at Beacon was one of the best i have seen there.
Big Fan from Australia. Friend put me onto them on road trip in 2018.. it all started with SOB…. Saw them live in 800/900 capacity Croxton Bandroom Thornbury with friend a year or so later and WOW!… one of the best live performances ever! Missed out last tour but won’t miss next one!
They should tour that line up as a revue show
You see The Roots members being parts of skits and doing the odd rimshot on The Tonight Show and it takes this to remind you that they are an incredible BAND. To fit in and accent the other band is not easy to do.

I had the tonight show on, but I was preoccupied with something else. After the song ended, I was like "wait... what the hell did I just hear?" Luckily, I was able to go back and watch it again and again and again. One of the best live performances I've seen on TV! I'm so glad that it ended up on RUclips again.
