Mr. Rogers, who rented a neighboring studio in Rockefeller Center, personally visited Eddie on the "Saturday Night Live" set. He praised "Mister Robinson's Neighborhood," telling him, "Thank you for taking your skit in the opposite direction of my show. You're one of the few who doesn't spoof me as a way to hurt my feelings." RIP, the great Mister Rogers, and long live Eddie Murphy.
That's how his stand up act should be, all stories. And when he sales it on DVD or a streaming site it should come with Chappelle his team acting out the stories, and Keenan Ivory waynes producing it. And include the Darrel stingley episode that Charlie Murphy told, acted out by Eddie in the Charlie role! That would be Jack Nick (as good as it gets). Printing money yell
Love both of these dudes. So much great content and comedy over the years. The world is a better place because we have people like Jimmy and Eddie sharing their gifts with all of us. In my Barry Gibb voice, “Gumby is still my favorite character.”🤣
I was 17 when his first live comedy movie came out. I and about 15 of my friends couldn't wait to go see him at the local drive-in theater. We backed our pickup trucks up and got out lawn chairs. The energy was just so high, and man I was so excited! The entire show we all had tears coming down and were holding our stomachs from laughing so hard and pounding our fists. I'd literally never experienced anything so hilarious. I've been a huge fan ever since, and this interview compilation is so awesome to watch. He's so comfortable with Fallon. He's literally the only celebrity who I would love to shake hands with and thank for all of his work to entertain us and bring us poor ass white folk so much happiness. Now I'm gonna buy a shovel and head to his backyard.
One of the biggest ever laid back funny , serious, smart, intelligent, personality I have always enjoyed watching/Listening to & feeling joyful. That is his calling.
The road weary thrown away "Well, well, well" is what solidified the gold that was Hot Tub. Singing and dancing, but, secretly tired and going through the motions. Same for Norm's Bob Saget Roast segment. The clincher there was when he admonished the audience for not getting the dog face joke. "What's you problem, it's obvious" kind of thing. But, Spade is the best, at under the breath thrown away magic moments. "Stomp" being tippy top. It's wild how we get to study all this stuff so intensely!
80's Eddie. Classic. No one broke character in SNL history than Jimmy. I love every time someone spots him in Band of Brothers "That's Jimmy Fallon!" Before he was this. Hilarious. These stories are amazing, he didn't pass away did he? 💙From Detroit
Apart from being a hella funny stand up comedian, i sometimes forget how extraordinary of an impressionist he is. Its Wild. I can't distinguish when he does Charlie and he can do them mid sentance... 👌🖖
Righton! A Real Gentleman. Classy. Stayed outta 💯 of crazy alcohol or drugs. Charlie even told that in stories. Prince didn't drink or drugs either. Lol Look at Eddie today, beautiful skin, body fit. Beverly Hill Cop 4, I'm so thankful. Plus he loves Winnipeg. Just like Marlon Brando. Winnipeg is a kickass place. Lol
Eddie Murphy did it all. He doesn’t need to go back to stand up every stand-up comedian all love Eddie Murphy. He starred them all off, especially Dave Chappelle.
Funny he mentioned “ Who framed Roger Rabbits “ i was a teenager working for the Peace Corps as a language & cultural instructor & remember people getting excited. It was a waste of my time cause I didn’t know ( ignorance) anything about cartoons or animation.
That’s so funny, not being old enough to know who Buckwheat is and thinking that he was Eddie because he played Buckwheat lol, he said no more Buckwheat!
Eddie can dip into an impression quick & flawlessly.
911 call😅😅😅😅😅

Same birthday & same year!
My brothers and I grew up getting in trouble listening to Eddie Murphy.
It was totally worth it!

Eddie Murphy is the best
Eddie Murphy is an icon! He's awesome!
Eddie was a super nova in 1983-88. His writers just took notes.
That James Brown impression made me spit my coffee 😅
If I remember correctly, it was Donovan "Razor" Ruddock who Mike Tyson claimed "hits like a mule."
Wish Eddie do more stand up comedy tours
Jimmy asked the same question like 10 years apart and Eddie answere exactly the same.
Raw tour ugh saw twice in Portland Oregon great show
Eddie Murphy impersonating Marlon Brando doing Eddie Murphy is TOP TIER LEGENDARY HILARIOUS
Jimmy is the perfect set up man for Eddie! LMAO!
RIP ❤ John Ashton from Beverly Hill Cop

Eddie Murphy is a national treasure. He should be awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
Eddie is hysterical!
That:"Oh My Gosh" laugh is the only time Jimmy has ever actually laughed!

He is great actor
To this day, I still believe Eddie didn’t even know he brought jackets
Awesome 😊
Damn, I'm from Detroit and I can't get my hands on one of those jackets.
Yes. I use to see Eddie at Bentley’s
Boa noite treisey 💛💛 beijos 💋🇧🇷 Rio de janeiro
Eddie's a vampire. He looks so young. Bentley's was great. Dancing and generous women.

That’s not Eddie. That’s Kelly Robinson! 50-0
That’s so funny, not being old enough to know who Buckwheat is and thinking that he was Eddie because he played Buckwheat lol, he said no more Buckwheat!
"I want to party all the time, party all the time"
Nick Nolte easily next to the white dude in Blood In Blood Out who worked in the cafeteria was the funniest racist in movie history.
I was worried for a second...😯
Love Joy Peace 🌺🍃🌸🍃🌺🌱🌹✨✨✨✨✨✨💫
Eddie is not aging, lol! 😮
Eddie is a genius who needs to find the middle-aged rich equivalent of young, hungry, edgy black man.
heeere
Is this an old interview?
Yes
Most Daring Sudden Terror 1 2006 Yes 😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀
I mean, they'd have better uses for CM Punk and Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania ;)
My school buddy is married to Eddie
Cool thing about Eddie Murphy is you would never believe the people that he's fans of bro its cool but you would never believe it lol ....
“Why he got that green shit on” 💀
Did the audience really all get jackets?!
25 years!? I guess Black Gumby went solo when he visited Michael Che and that pale guy.
Eddie Should go and practice in clubs in expensive costumes so people wouldn't know it's him
Eddy Murphy was funny than his brother Charlie Murphy right? My teachers used to love those guys.
