- Welcome to our Wretch 32 FITB The Movement (feat. Scorcher, Ghetts & Mercston) Reaction!!! This is our latest video reaction from our new music reaction channel Beer’s & Bars. Here we listen, react, and breakdown bars while enjoying some of our favorite beers. Talk about having fully loaded weapons!! This was one of the best combinations of flows we've seen since listening to super groups like the Wu-Tang!! Wretch, Scorcher, Ghetts & Mercston was full of complex flows, compound bars flowing over a classic Freeway track!! also you need to watch "top boy: summerhouse" on netflix before the netflix original series, it's the prequel series and it's even better. scorcher plays a character called kamali in it

I think the most impressive thing about this vid is catching old skool Ghetts' bars... most people from the US find his thick accent hard to distinguish

26:42 Dushan and Sully, main characters in Top Boy. I also recommend series 1 & 2 before Drake got it revived on Netflix (only 6 episodes each), you'll understand the relationship between some of the characters more. Scorcher is in it too.

Hi guys, Ghetts for me is the best we have here in the uk his stage presence live I’ve never seen anyone like it, I would say check out his ‘fire in the booth 2’ as he goes through his 3 persona’s he has j Clarke which is chilled he says the closest to him in real life, ghetto which was young brash him and Ghetts which is like the mid point, he also has a cypher with all 3 in which explains this ‘sbtv ghetts cypher’ and it should come up, also Mercston has a daily duppy that dropped recently that you’ll like. The movement documentary which is a few hours long is on RUclips which follows them when they were younger and you see them on the come up etc, they were pretty much formed by ghetts where they were all friends etc we also have boy better know which is another group I’d suggest checking out some of there freestyles you could start with ‘sbtv 100m Bbk freestyle’ to ease you in, sorry for the huge comment :) keep up the work 🔥

This was on BBC radio. It was odd that probably the biggest platform for UK MC's for many years was even on the BBC.
The BBC isn't known for it's edginess.
Eventually I think they allowed swearing/cursing.
But it really does mess parts of this up. Such a shame.
If you get to doing mic Righteous fitbs he says "free Palestine" and something else about a famous BBC personality from the 70's and 80's who later was convicted of paedophillia. Both got censored.
The BBC has produced some great television but it has plenty of skeletons in its closet. Sadly not as unbiased as it claims.
I guess it's better than the russian or Chinese state media.

Yh I agree wit Kano fitb but also add some more Skepta, bullet from a gun is one of his best tbh. And Dave's fitb is linked wit how I met my ex, and is also one of his best performances of all time.

Scorcher v scorcher is a funny video u guys should check out. Back in the day grime was done in pirate radios where’d you go and just spit bars. So think about it (before socials) someone has come to a radio station that scorch is known at and tries to spit under his name and he was outside and overheard it. The rest is history 😂😂

Yeah they’re friends. So they all brought new bars for this but Scorcher ended his first verse with some old bars so everyone knew them ones. Great chemistry! They have a whole mixtape together. Dont work as a group together too as everyone’s on their own journey’s. But you can find Wretch x Ghetts on lots of songs together. Mercstson & Scorcher do music here and there, so not consistently.
And some bars, it just naturally comes to their heads .. ie. They know what the next bar is

Just to point out Charlie pointing out at half time that you could leave it there you kinda won and say's you wanna do that to them. He was referring to the fact that on that night just before the movement did this the USA'S Very own Slaughter house did their fitb. After they saw what the movement did they asked Charlie and the BBC to pull their s and never play it I seen clips and have to admit it was pretty awful. New sub 👍🇬🇧

Just for context Cassie the episode of top boy you watched isn't actually the first episode just the first episode of season 3, basically after the first two seasons the show was dropped and Drake reached out and basically Netflix picked up the show. Scorcher is was in it and there was a few topboy bars you guys missed cause you haven' the seen the show yet

The British Broadcasting Commission - the worlds oldest & most respected media commission, it's advertising free as it's paid for by us the British tax payer through yearly licensing fees. BBC Radio 1 is our main pop station, every age group, walk of life tunes in, even the Queen used to & Prince William is a religious listener (he pops in sometimes to campaign about mental illness awareness in the teen generation) so hey block that swearing out & any very obvious drug usage reference.
Now we can swear on radio & TV after 9pm, much more relaxed.
