uk rap battles are what got me into uk rap and grime 10 years ago.
One major difference between UK battle rap and US battle rap is that the UK scene is more dominated by clever jokes and funny schemes at the expense of the other person while US battle rap tends to lean more towards who can fuck up who and straight drill bars
( love both styles btw )
This Era of British rap can't be topped. You had Lunar C and the don't flop scene, people like Devilman doing his legendary freestyles and cyphers, huge names to be such as JME, Giggs, Wiley, Wretch 32 on the come up, the early fire in the booths and the list could go in forever😅

Lunar C was a massive part of getting me through a time in my life when I had cancer. It was a dark time, but the laughs he (and Don’t Flop) gave me helped lighten it a lot. For that, I will be forever grateful.

Lunar C is hilarious and a really good battler. Another one similar but still different is Shotty Horroh. That is one battle we never got to see, people have been wanting to see them two battle each other for time. Check him out next you won't be disappointed.
