I was just talking to Mr. Mike with JTops and as far as I understand things via the conversation the spider shades are not American made, hence if you noticed during this covid stuff it has become almost impossible to get anything from spiderweb shades. But you made the right choice this go around I love my top to death and also have a little project with Mike coming soon!

I have the same top and am having issues with keeping all 3 rods in the grooves of the JT It's like the top is a half an inch too short between the front rod and the back two. I have tried strapping down the back 2 and then pulling the front rod to the grooves. It's really a stretch and it won't stay in. When the front rod comes out of the grooves, the front flap will not stay under the windshield when traveling at hwy speeds. If I make sure the front rod is in the back of the top flaps a lot high speeds.

That's odd. Maybe you should contact them. I havent had many issues but I also don't use it often

How was it getting the freedom top on over that? Clips get in the way on the rollbar? My gladiator is getting delivered today.

It isn’t that hard. You gotta reach back on one on each side. Those two are a little tough but totally doable. The rest are a breeze
