    You are the only one who mentions the velcro straps for the top and the bungee cords for the rear window. However, one thing that you may have said that was wrong was that you can take out just the rear window alone. In my owner's manual/paper instructions that came with the truck, it states that if you remove the rear window, the quarter panels need to be out as well. The whole assembly holds itself together back there, and the quarter panels can fall out if you hit a hard enough bump without the rear window in place. But, you can do the rear window and quarter panels out with the top forward. Jeep needs to find a way to make the Gladiator to where you don't need to remove the quarter panels.

      I have been thinking the same thing abouth those corner panels. I have not installed my soft top yet, but based on what I've seen in install videos, I doubt I'll leave mine in... Especially if I will be traveling at highway speeds.

    Great video ‼️👍 Any recommendations on what to do or use to prevent paint damage on the gladiator when taking accessories on and off such as the soft top? My Wrangler had several areas where the paint either wore off or chipped from taking it off and on. Even where the brackets were attached? I’m planning on getting out ceramic coated in the near future. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    I have gladiator and the factory soft top, I have only taken it off once a few months back, when it went back on the jeep it fit perfect and had no issues, fast forward a few months and now it is flapping like it’s loose when going 35 mph or more. The front clasps grip tightly and secure but it feels and sounds like the back half is just flying in the wind.... any recommendations?

    I'm not sure why Jeep didnt design this soft top to retract all the way to the base near the bed like it does on the JL. Having the top in its open position just sitting on the back of the roof looks so ugly.

    • @Quadratec
      @Quadratec 3 года назад +2

      If we're being honest, we pretty much agree with you Jacob! We've been told it was a decision based on multiple factors, with one of them being to not occupy any of the truck bed space when the soft top was in the folded position so that it won't interfere with anything you may potentially have in the bed, or the use of accessories like a bed rack.

    • @JakeNBake0021
      @JakeNBake0021 3 года назад +1

      @@Quadratec i can understand that reasoning. Hopefully Mopar or an aftermarket manufacturer will come up with one for those of us not planning on using a bed rack, or design a lower profile version!
