Few comments: I purchased the screens and wasn’t sure if I could keep it on with soft top on (OEM) and answer is yes you can! I like mostly everything about it but it would be nice for a quicker removal and installation on days I would like to go completely topless. (The front straps are the issue for me) I’m going to try a Velcro type strap or a buckle type that you can tighten without the snap back of a bungee. Other than that seems well built and does what it supposed too.
Great video! Very helpful for installation in my JL. I have the sky one-touch, so I had to use the install tool in additional spots, but was common sense on where to use it because of the sky roof track.
Just installed on my 2023 JLU. LOVE the sunshade so far except for the fact that you lose a bit of headroom after install. Not sure if I'll leave it up there or not. Hoping I'll get used to it, we'll see if I get used to it constantly in my hair.
I can’t get the tool to slide through the front. Is there anything that needs to be removed or a secret to make it slide through as easy as yours did in the video?
One of my windshield clips deformed on my jl. I noticed the bungee was loose one day, went to re-thread the clip that hooks on the windshield frame (drivers corner) is stretched and more like a “u” instead of a tight clip. How can I get replacement clips?
i'm right at 6'3 and depending on how I am sitting my head may barely touch it. doesn't matter if hard top is on or not. The tradeoff was worth it for me.
Why can’t the bungee ball go on the top? It seems better that way. You don’t hit your head on the ball getting in the car and there is plenty of clearance between shade and freedom panels. Am I missing something in the design of this?
You can do either. I have the older one piece and I put the center front and the corners on top but am able to hide them. Just a preference. Also, I've had mine in the AZ sun (top off most days) for 5 years and it still looks great, but looking for a change in color.
I would avoid this product at all cost moving forward. He installation instructions led me to pull some part of my Jeep out of the windshield area, and I double checked and followed the instructions exactly. The bungee got stuck and part of the windshield came out. Find another product, but definitely not this one.
Wtf? This is 💯 user error. Nothing should be coming off when installed properly. I’ve seen ton of these videos from different people doing their DIY install, complete amateurs and none ever reported what you said.

Be nice if you explained what you’re sliding them through in the front and back

Can you put the Freedom tops back on with the sunshade installed?
Great video just installed mine in like 15min!

Thanks! I thought I was missing clips that they mention in their instructions and was wondering how the heck I’d find clips
Is there a new version of these for the 2024's?
Great video. Made installing mine a breeze! Thanks

I didn’t get the installation tool with my order. I used a thin electrical wire worked just just as good.

My bungee cords are not truly that easy to stretch. I didn't receive the correct sizes. 😕
I’m missing four 10” bungees and two 13”s
Will this fit the 2024 Wrangler?
How is this for taller folks? I’m 6’2” and I’m wondering if my head will hit the sunshade.

@@tracyalderson1756 I ended up getting the DesertDoesIt Seat Slammer kit, I HIGHLY recommend it

@@n3tfury sun fade was my concern. I want to get Red but don't want it to fade to pink in the Louisiana sun
Does not show up close
