This ad wasn't shown nationally. I only saw it in England, when we got Setanta. Forget their sporting coverage, this was worth the subscription alone! Pure class.

@Cryten1974 The guy who sang this version is called Ben, he goes to my youth theatre and i couldn't believe it was him. He's obviously gotten older, since the advert was made, but me and some of my friends really could not believe it was him!
I cried when I found the original "The Snowman" again after so many years, but I first saw this in my Screen Design for Animation class (because of all the moving perspective I think) and absolutely cracked up. XD
@UCgrab Actually, the original Snowman recording was made by Peter Auty, a chorister from St Paul's in 1982. Aled Jones then released a single version of it which became famous in 1985. This version was recorded in about 2006 by Ben Robinson, a chorister from St Mary's Music School in Edinburgh.
Irn Bru can make people do insane things. A few years ago, i woke up in the middle of the night and thought "i fancy an Irn Bru". So i put my clothes on, and walked 20 minutes down to Tesco at 3:30am in winter, just to buy a can of it. I sat opposite the beach and drank it. Then walked back home and went to sleep. And i'd do it again.
LOL This is the best Irn Bru commercial so far. I was so impressed I bought some. Forgotten how nice it is :O) ah the power of humorous advertising !!!

we did finally find a local shop that carries import goods and sells Irn Bru by the bottle - for around $3 each. Pricey for a soda, but well worth it. We are officially hooked!
