You may not believe this, but we found excellent Nicaraguan coffee yesterday, and today in Oakland, where we also had the privilege of meeting your Bro Fernando of Proyecto Diaz, at The Crown, at 2523 Broadway. He came to be part of a 2 day workshop we attended there, and they are currently serving a decaf Nicaraguan as part of their espresso menu. By the end of today, I was probably as caffeinated as you, with an open coffee bar and many tasting moments as part of the workshop. .. After meeting Fernando and hearing his story, I totally understand the value of your collaboration with such a fine person and family business! Even my tiny local roaster in Punta Gorda, FL maintains Nica coffee at all times: Mercer’s Fresh Roasted Coffees.
