Z6 series has always been geared towards videographers, to be fair. So this is the target-market for this body. Make no mistake, it does have fantastic features for stills too, better than almost anything else in this price-range,
Wow! Everything is cool, but why is there no global shutter? it's high time to remove the mechanical shutter - this is an archaism and the most worn-out component of the camera...
GS technology leaves something to be desired for stills at this point, whilst it is great for fast action, it lacks in some areas still. Nikon will most likely develop the technology and wait for it to mature, before replacing perfectly capable stacked sensors with GS. 99% of photography pros will not need this, at a guess, and very few videographers will see benefits over a stacked sensor. It is great that Sony is driving innovation in this space, but let it mature first, before letting it loose on the masses. Of course, consider the price-point of cameras with this technology as well. So no, it would not be ideal to have it in a mid-tier camera, not at this stage, anyway.
Further to my earlier comment, how many Nikon bodies have you had where the shutter failed, and had to be replaced? You know, on something like the d500/d850, they will go upwards of 250k shots, sometimes even 400+k actuations. If that is an issue for you, get a z8 or z9, that sports stacked sensors and full electronic shutters, no mechanical actuators.
I ordered Z6III this morning. New sensor, New EVF, upgraded AF (negative 10 sensitivity) and upgraded video specs. Very excited about this camera!
Beautiful. Just Beautiful. Nikon is the Future of Photography.
Amazing Nikon Just up-ped the game
Looks well rounded!
This will be the camera to upgrade from my beloved Z6 ( of course i will keep it ). Amazing Nikon!
We think you'll love the Z6III!
The feature at 1:57 is the first to disable immediately
Yea, I want one.....
Gambarnya jernih..
With the Z6III, Nikon adds a little more for still photographers, but a LOT more for video shooters.

When you are showcasing comparison between Nikon and competitor, can you specify which competitor brand you are comparing to ?
I think I need to trade in my Z6ii to afford this
Best Hibrid Camera
I wish Z6III has Auto Capture.

There’s no global on their flagship just yet, so what makes you think it’ll be introduced at the mid-tier?
Global shutter is great if you are doing video exclusively, but it looses IQ on stills and specially if shooting at high ISO.

My D800 would dance on the skull of a Z63
