    1 month Jimny owner here in Denmark. Same color 👍😊 Great video and inspire me. Light is my next upgrade. Live in the forest. Lots of animals crossing the road - and then all the other things light is good for. Front and back.

    In Australia, UHF radio has several Citizens Bands for hobbyist and Enthusiasts to legally use upto 5W. My first mod on my Jimny was a UHF radio. My second was a single roof crossbar to mount the antenna on. My third was a light bar, wired similar to your spotlights, with one auxiliary circuit for future work lights.
    I have a hidden Winch mount on order and will install a winch inside the front bumper next.

    It would be super cool if you printed a new relay box lid with information on the inside about the relays and fuses, just like it would be if factory installed.

    first of all loved that, very clean work. and i gotta ask, i am pretty sure you got the Creality Ender 3 Pro printer, so the box is printed from PLA (i gusse), how it is resisting the heat up until this point? any sings of over heating problem?

    Great video TAT! I've been wondering how to run the wires into my Jimny and I didn't know about the windscreen trick that's nice and neat I like it. On my previous vehicles I ran the wiring down with the snorkel but I don't have one installed on the Jimny and I'm not sure if these days I would be just adding it purely for aesthetic value. Also I confirm that wires through the back door (although tempting) only ever lead to them being crushed into a mess. I'd be interested to hear how your 3D printed relay box is holding up... personally I'd have printed that solid :-) I'd love to see a video on a CB / UHF install and how you go about that - I commend your neatness in the wiring I love making neat wiring harnesses I don't know why people hate the job so much! All the best.

      @KJOff-Road  2 года назад +1

      Thanks a lot!
      it would have been convenient, if i had a snorkel to run the wires along. but yeah, so far, they are sitting nicely along the windshield :)
      i was also curious about the 3d-prints durability. Now it's been a little over half a year, and so far, it seems to be holding up just fine.
      And yeah, i agree, it's just more satisfying when the wires are all sorted :)
      Thanks for your interest, and thanks for watching!

My spots have full beam and marker lights so need to work out what’s what. Can you also confirm if the trigger wires are positive or negative triggered. Thanks

    Hello! May i ask you how you did it with the wiring for the lightbar so that you can switch between bright light and dim light?
    Thanks in advance! :)

    • @KJOff-Road
      @KJOff-Road  6 месяцев назад

      It's fairly simple really.
      There are two seperate wires on the lights themselves. (one for the dim maker lights and one for the bright light)
      I just wired the dim lights, to come on with the normal headlights. and i wired the bright lights on be turned on with the separate button.
      Thanks for watching along :)

    • @KJOff-Road
      @KJOff-Road  2 года назад

      Haha, ja, nogle af tingene var nemmest lige at hente der ude :) Men faktisk så var lige netop de stik der ikke så imponerende. de skal sikkert nok holde. men de er lavet i så hård plastik, at der skulle alt for meget tryk til, for at få stik-benene i. (Måtte bruge tænger og skruetrækkere)
      Men resten af "Forbrugs varene" der ude fra, virkede ok. (Har dog heller ikke brugt deres ledninger, da de er for ringe)
      Men tak for kommentaren, og tak for kikket!
