By far one on my favorite light bar install video. Really detail stuff bro. Auxbeam is really the best bang for your buck. Superb quality and durability
You know, I had that problem with the light cables and I solved it by putting them through the hole in the radio antenna. I changed the antenna and put the antenna that adheres to the glass on the inside, all the light cables go through there without any problems.
Just the video I was expecting from you for me to grow up courage and install a light bar in my jimny. Question: would it be possible for it to be wired (positive) from the fuse box in the engine compartment? And another thing that has nothing to do with this video: do you know how can I pop out the air conditioning side vents from the Jimny? (I want to vacuum and clean mine properly…)
I'm not sure if you can run it from the fuse box. I know some lightbars draw a lot of power and need to connect direct to the battery. Yeah, you can pop out the vents with a little force.
I know this video is pretty old now but I have some questions that I really hope you can answer. So... I have the exact same light bar as you, and I couldn't figure out how to get those terminal connectors to connect to the battery. I see in the video you have roughly the same size terminals as I do, and I'm assuming you couldn't fit the connectors over the terminals like me. So my first question is how did you connect the positive and negative connectors to the battery terminals?? Another thing is, I have the exact same issue as you did with the mounts.. I need to fabricate mounts (in my case have it done by someone else because I have no idea how) to connect it to the side like you did. So my last question is.. How did you go about getting the dimensions for the mounts? How did you measure?? If you can be as specific as possible I would be so grateful!!
I replaced the ring terminals on the harness with larger ones. I didn't measure to create the mounts, I used trial and error and kept adjusting accordingly until it fit my liking. Since then I created better light bar mounts but that's only on my Instagram and not on RUclips.
Licensing officers are the worst. So even if the light bar is covered…. They would give you a charge still ???? I find this looks so sick on this Jimny!
I love how it looks as well, I would love to leave it on. It depends on the LO, some would let you go with it covered others would charge you. I heard if it’s uncovered they can seize it as well 🤷♂️
What a transformation, very sporty looking and great job installing the light bar...
Thank you ! I love the new look as well 😁
I really like the pride you take in your work. Keep it up.
Thanks buddy ! I appreciate the support 🙌
I would say that top view is a quiet creative way to showcase its performance!
Thank you ! I figured that would give a different perspective rather than the usual driver’s POV that everyone else shows 😁
Ayyee! I see you went with Xerxes!!! 😄😄😄 my sis was the one who suggested the name to me, and then I mentioned it to you 🙌
Yeah I did ! Couldn’t pass that name. Tell her I said thanks for it 🙌😁

I bought my light bar brackets from Lambert Engineering in the UK. Purpose made for the 42" light bar and for the gen 3 Jimny.
Thank you ! I’ll check them out to see what they have 😁
Very good job and very detailed walk through, looks sick! Keep up the good work!!
Thanks buddy ! Lots more mods to come :)
Excellent DIY well done

Hi sir, do you have clips on the stepper door part??
Looking for clips for my jimny. Please help
Do local laws where you are allow you to cover your lights when not in use?

How did you make those brackets?
I cut the metal to shape, bent it using a vice and drill some holes to mount it.
Nice gonna try the same!
Awesome, man, your Jimny is improving a lot, just a question. Your machine doesn't have lockers. Does it?
Thanks man ! Not yet but I do plan on installing a set of air lockers in the future 😁
Excellent
Thanks !
