Im just getting into rc flying and came across your video, absolutly brilliant, very very imformative and with lots of very good tips. Just couldnt stop watching and subscribed just 20mins in, i'll be picking your brain for more info in future. Keep up the great work 👍
I've finished watching your airwolf build and I absolutely loved every minute of it, so much so, I've taken the plunge and ordered myself a kit, will just need to add the mechanics as you did. I must confess though, I'm a novice, but weren't we all at some point 😂 Hope you don't mind if I do ask for your help and advice buddy
Thumbs up. More people should care about helicopters for their natural high endurance of flight time. I have a FPV helicopter at 250 grams and HD onboard video recording with flips and snaps with 35 minutes of flight time per charge. No quads can ever beat that.
i use the microbeast and spektrum version and fly mild 3d and they work great . easy to set up to. i hav just got the new spektrum giro wich is good to and the ikon v1 i hav tried to they all work well the microbeast is a good place to srart they are so easy to use . i do like the new spektrum u can adjust on your radio
I've been playing with RC helicopters for about 15 yrs..I've watched a lot of channels to learn more about this hobby..your way to explain this stuff blows away everything I've seen! I've got 2 BELT CPs I've never flown,I'm 67 and not interested in 3D simply because I CANT SEE THEM IN BAT ON CRACK MODE..😂...I'm more into scale type flying and I fly a V977 as much as I can..can't thank you enough for the channel! Finally going to get at least one of these BELT CPs airborne and yes I have lots of extra parts..thanks again!
Thank you very much for your kind words Tom. It’s very satisfying to read comments like this and to know that people enjoy what I do. Good luck with the helicopters and do contact me if you need any assistance.
@rchelichekuk After watching your video on the cobra..Im a apache lover..why doesn't blade or another manufacturer bring out a 450 size apache? They had the micro and I passed on that..seems like a bigger version then the micro would be a hot seller..maybe a 250 size..I don't even see any 450 apache kits? The raised tail a issue? Thanks again for your channel a d making these things make sense AND the cool music!
@@bushforme That’s a question I’ve often asked myself and don’t really know why it’s not done. I don’t think it’s a tail issue because other 450 size models are on the market, including the 470 Cobra I did, that uses 450 size tail authority. I’m a keen lover of the AH-64 Apache myself but I wanna grab myself a 600 or 700 size one and Roban are the only manufacturer that do those sizes at a hell of a price.
@@bushforme how ironic we have just been speaking about a 450 Apache. To far away for me too get but take a look facebook.com/groups/1543921652505112/permalink/3751495941747661/
Nice vid. agree with you about learning on a small heil i did that i nearly quit.. thank god i did not and bought a larger one only being doing it three months and its so much easier..
Nice work! A lot of different opinions about the subject of small Helicopters but it is a true fact that a bigger helicopter flies more stable. Thanks for the continued support.
Hi good video well put together where do you get your roll of double sided tape for the flybarless unit from? i get peed off buying Spektrum pads so expensive
Well done again on a great helpful video. I have being flying a trex 700x fbl for about a year now. Not 3d . Have you ever built or know what would be a good fit in scale body for this heli? Love scale flying . I know there prob is no perfect fit but any info would be great thanks.
Thank you very much for the kind words on the video and glad you enjoyed it. Trex 700 mechanics are commonly used in a few scale fuselages and in some cases used in 800 size fuselage kits. Although a little on the expensive side, Vario Helicopters in Germany do a good range. www.vario-helicopter.biz/de/Fuselage-Kit/Bell-412-1-7-Fuselage-kit::200569.html
Hi please can you tell me how to set up the Rx from scratch and the fly bar less system as I have a550dfc and have no idea as always had friends sort it is very much appreciate your help thanks also how can I contact you all the best Si
Hi. I never use a receiver on my helicopters because I only use Microbeast or BeastX flybarless units. Beast X is an all in one receiver and the Microbeast uses a satellite rx in it but both only work if you use Spektrum radios.
Just stop and think about what you are saying, smaller models are harder to fly, so obviously if you can master a small model, then it's going to be a lot easier to fly a bigger model. I think telling ppl to start with 450-500 is nuts, when I flew my 1st Blade Nano S3, I lost control it it flew towards me and hit my hand, it opened a bit cut on my finger, it wasn't deep but it still broke the skin. Small models handle the inevitable crashes better too.
Seriously?? You lost control of a Blade Nano and it cut your finger? And you’re saying I’m wrong to be telling people to start with a 450-500 size model? If you lost control of a Nano then my advice as I said in the video is you should be starting with a simulator not an actual model because clearly you can’t fly a helicopter if you lost control of a Nano!

Thank you for watching and your support. I get it from Amazon. Just type in the Amazon search for double sided foam tape pal.
I have a blade 550x still with few parts I would cry if I crashed it. Best flying helicopter
