Did not know footage from this show existed. The Virgin Prunes were an amazing band that has sadly been overlooked and underrated. They were goth before goth became just the latest trend, but they kinda defied categorization. Their first few recordings sound just as good as when I first heard them back in the early 80's as a kid. Thanks for the post, i haven't seen to many live shows of the Virgin Prunes; I noticed you put up a Switzerland show as well.
never seen this before they were an amazing band my boyfriend tells me story's of when he used to see these in London(uk) a lot 82-83 & how amazing they were
Really great gig -- though I wish Dav-id (Busaurus) came back out on stage, so that girl would shut the fuck up! lol. I posted this and mentioned it to Gavin to check out. Must be nice (yet odd) to see footage of yourself, from so, so long ago! Big thanks, Travis!
@@trembling3674 I think I miss the carefree days of youth, the sense of exploration that NYC still offered. Today's NYC is not even a pale imitation of its former self. Its a blank faced former wild child... with a lobotomy.
I dunno? But I am high and the audio is buried. Luckily "Travis" did what he could when converting this to digital. I didn't like that PAGANLOVESONG and Sweet Home Under White Clouds were both cut into extracts. [But, that was probably done from the Master recording.]
Excellent, love the Prunes. Best band to come out of Ireland.
One of my favorite band ever... they leave traces through all the years in my life, never forgotten!
Virgin Prunes were great performers. This is so cool. Thanks for posting

Being goth isn't a trend and never was. It defeats the whole purpose. Its a music based subculture.
