I was in Guggi's car once in Dublin, with Simon Carmody (singer of another band called The Golden Horde). Guggi was very nice and thanks to him, I went to U2's Kitchen nightclub for free. That night was probably the best night of my life. I also met Guggi's brother Strongman and he was probably the nicest person I have ever met. So humble, kind, loving and caring. 100% genuine. Finally, I met Gavin in. Australia when I traveled to see U2 in 2019. Also very nice. What gets to me is to see these guys all weird and scary with dark lyrics when in fact they are fun, kind and very friendly. They are very appreciative for having fans.

U2 are Zillionaires and these guys are relatively unknown, where is the justice? Awesome band, "If I die, I die" is such a good album, wish I'd seen them live

Yes The Virgin Prunes deserved more fame and fortune. But they have gained probably good money in the 80s. Their album "If I die...I die" I count it to one of the best albums ever made and one of the best albums in my vinyl collection! I regret also that I never saw them live. I wanted to go to the Seaside Festival in 1983, I was 15, but my father said noo!! Son I missed The Virgin Prunes, The Bollock Brothers and other nice bands.

The justice is that both front men have done extremely well and U2 has helped them a lot. One lives next to Bono and is U2's stage consultant. The other one became a well renown painter. As for the other members, all still in the music industry and did fairly well too. All are friends to this day, all very kind and humble. I can say so because I have met three of these guys. U2 did a lot for them. A lot.

If by a fraction of a million of chances you were at the gig, you didn't have to care about any other anymore. I'm rather eclectic in my interests, but this is the most exciting rock performance ever imo. Gavin did an a capella of white clouds during a spoken word in Brussels one day. Shivers....
