I did one over the summer. Screaming Chicken makes an amazing factory fit perfect one. Only complaint is the opening is a little tight for 7" screens. I had to work the bezel with a dremel to fit my Joying 7" screen in there, once done, used some putty, SEM interior paint for our 98s, and semi gloss clear it looks 100% factory color, texture and all. Contact screaming chicken I think they have a list of what radios will slide right in so you don't have to do what I did
@@philipproth9617 yes these especially if its an ls1 6 speed they are a blast! i love mine going to be installing new clutch and master tick performance making videos
Now how exactly does the plastic face for the radio stay on? I tried putting mines on and it wont stay put doesnt seem to clip onto anything? The radio fits fine but the plastic just falls off doesnt stay out
Yes I did! ive just been so busy with life i havent had time to edit the video but i do have full video to install it! and i love it! but now i found out i think the shop never changed my slave cylinder so my clutch sinks to floor still after flooring it.
Thanks bro
That was very helpful and helped me save a lot of money
Thanks a bunch for the video. I now pretty confident I can put a double din in my 98 SS Camaro.
