I just use fender fold out stands, super compact simple design works fine, I'm sure this is more stable, but it takes up too much real estate in comparison, thanks for sharing.
My first thought was "JFC eighty bucks," then I took a second to look behind me at the two hundred dollar Performaxe thats also made out of precision cut aluminum and then it makes sense now. Thats a cool stand. Waaay nicer than the 13 dollar jobbers I have from Amazon/Temu/CheepoMart. I think if they made it just two or 3 inches smaller that the appeal of stuffing it in a gig bag would be a very strong selling point, too, but it does appear to just maybe fit a real big bag. Btw, I think most Flying V players prefer to just stand their guitar on the floor against the wall, leaning all their weight on the sharpest most easy to break off points. You can tell that just by looking at the used ones on Reverb ;)
Now this is clever. I don't use guitar stands like that for mine, I prefer the multi guitar stands like what you have in your studio there, but if I were ever going on stage to play (LOL yeah right), this would be a very good stage stand for most guitars. It's pretty cool. 10/10, would buy if I were a different person. 🤣
Very Nice. I've been looking at stands. The one I bought is very light and kind of flimsy. I don't trust it. This one looks great, and you're well known for your honest & straight forward reviews. Thanks Richard! 🎶🎸🎶🎸🎶🎸🎶🎸🎶🎸🎶🎸
I watched your video on the musiclilly pickups the other day and I ordered the same set you demoed. I haven't tried them yet but I bought one of those westcreek revenge guitars and I also bought a set of the musiclilly ceramic pickups and put them in the revenge and they sound great.
Don't most stands have issues with the more "odd" shaped guitars? That being said, this is an excellent review! You show the good points as well as the negative ones. The magnets are a cool feature.
Nice review, well presented! The stand is a bit pricey since at that price one is getting into hard guitar case range but I think you did a great job with the presentation and review.
Best stand for an irregular shaped guitar bar none is the Hercules auto grab. The xvive looks to be an excellent stand built with quality materials. Thanks for the demo BS. Most excellent as always
In addition to travel, it is probably great for tight spaces like NYC apartments! 😂😂😂
Excellent review thank you Richard
looks like you know where you STAND....cool demo lol..😊

I enjoy how you do demos. You have a great personality for this type of stuff.

Navin Johnson invented the Optigrab, and look how _that_ turned out
Xvive makes some innovative stuff.
I was thinking crossbow at first, but yeah pretty cool stand
It could definitely be used as a weapon. 😄
Ngl I was begging the universe to make the stand fall apart as soon as he let go of the Bass... 😂😂😂
Sorry Bass players...
Nope 😄
@@thebaldshredder I'm gonna have to try one. I need another good floor stand!
🤘
Seems like a good compact guitar stand but I think the price will hinder sales.
I like it.Thanks for the demo RJ
