I’m a competitive swimmer so the most I can do is the two weeks off season. What should I do there? Olympic swimmers get tattoos so what should I do in order to protect it?
Hello Gabriel, you are correct but non the less the tattoos olympic swimmers get, is often really small and they are coverable by a tattoo film (like ours) However it takes 28 days for the skin to chance the outer layer, which you will need to respect. You can also be lucky nothings happening, but you can also be unlucky and get an infection, so i would recommend that you wait 28 days and then try to cover it with tattoo film. Hello Flaco, is it your profession or are you doing it beside studying? if its your profession i would recommend you to wait until you have a long period off or if its a job you have for the next couple of years, wait until find a new job, because salt water/chlorine water is bad for your open wound. People go swimming with small cuts all the time. any one ever here of bandaids floating next to you ? two weeks than jump in. it's all about liability. always covering there own asses first.
Hello! Yes and no, it is about health. As you state, some people gets a tattoo on a vacation and then jump in the pool and they are totally fine. Our video is about the off chance that something is going to happen to the tattoo. We see on occasion people getting infections in their tattoo because they jumped in salt or chlorine water. Also a new tattoo is not supposed to be submerged, it has to breath, which means there are multiple reasons why we recommend people staying away from baths etc. :) Jacob - Team Sorry Mom ⚓
My tattoo artist said around 2 weeks, mine is also pretty big and it's today the 14th so i let him watch it and confirmed in a few days i can go without risks so these vids are completely useless sorry!
@@SorryMomTattoo it's already the second time i'm going to the pool and since it's fully healed there's no risk i mean it's obvious chlorine dry and damage your skin but that's all, swimmers know about this and infact i use a ton of cream after

I waited about 4 days and put Aquaphor on it , water slips right off it! Good alternative

How did it go? Kus I went swimming after 2 days and I didn’t kno tht would affect my tattoo
