Being old and debt free I’m in the minority and I could afford one of these vehicles. Manufactures big problem is people like me don’t need these vehicles and simply refuse to overpay for them. That and most of my younger friends are underwater on their loans from getting ripped off during Covid. When they go to trade they owe $6k to $8k more than the vehicle is worth. Sucks for them but sucks even more for dealers and manufactures who are at least 3 to 5 years minimum before these customers are back in the market. Don’t even get me started on interest rates.

The rejection of EV's in general is waned and yet, they continue to push this "incentive" because they get financial incentives from the Government to produce a product that has low sales. One can speculate that the CDJR business model is NOT working. The have melded two axioms together: "Let them eat cake" and "The emperor has no clothes".

Gotta charge a fortune for this metal to compensate Carlos Tavares’ salary. C’mon man … look what good he’s done for the brand and the employees. BS … Keep on pace & the only thing these vehicles will be good for are paper weights. People can’t afford these vehicles. DON’T buy one? I guess if you’ve got the $ you can find 2023 models for as much as 20% off but …. “IF” Stellantis would drop the price 50% would be a game changer.

This is gonna be a case where the manufacturer cannot cover the ev losses by jacking up prices. They’re gonna have to eat the ev drain and get the prices down for real vehicles, because if they’re thinking that they jacked the prices of real vehicles high enough, we’d all go for evs. Nope, cause evs SUCK! I would rather keep my 06 Audi and put money in a car I love than buy an overpriced piece of 💩 with a 10 speed automatic transmission that belongs in a semi and has a payment that is more than the last house I bought. Hell no! Stellantis you really screwed up by canceling the Charger because you were selling a ton of them to the cops, Feds and other law enforcement agencies to keep the factories open right there. If you think that we are gonna buy those craptacular evs, you have noodles for brains

If not get a Tesla, safer, cheaper, quicker and better handling, near zero maintenance cost, less likely to catch fire than ice vehicles, very difficult to roll over, have the worlds top selling vehicles, most American content of all vehicles. We don’t want EVs. If I want an EV, I’d look at Tesla. They should do what they know best and raise quality. Not prices. Jeep is a phenomenal vehicle. Made for the everyday man. They shouldn’t be $65k-$90k. Make it better than the Bronco and own that market. But they’re thinking of themselves. (CEO/front office) Not the customers.
