Stellantas in North America is in a self-fulfilling death spiral. I expect the Dodge and Chrysler brands to be gone in 2025, Jeep and Ram on life support. CDJR dealers will be going bankrupt or shutting their doors by the 100's. The US and Canadian governments may not do a bailout this time as not worth it. Banks and even high risk lenders won't do loans on several models as depreciation is staggering and fearing losing so much money from unpaid loans. EV's are as wanted as another round of Covid-19. As more decline to buy their vehicles, that feeds more market fears of CDJR going out of business, and speeds up the death of them. Who will want even Jeep or Ram ? Ditching V-8's for the trucks ? GM is in much better shape overall, still offering V-8's in light trucks,

Would you consider a Charger or 300 over a Camry or an Accord, or do you consider those two cars junk as well? Honda’s reliability has fallen off, though.
Hi those are great choices in the mid sized car arena. The 300 does feel a little bigger than the other 2 and likely it won’t last quite as long g as a Toyota. Honda is generally a great brand but they have had some issues with 1.5l turbo with fuel in oil dilution and the CvTs are not the most robust. As a result my recommendations would be go Toyota Camry and last of the 3.5V6 or Hubrid. The base 2.5 L 4 cylinder is solid as well but the engine is a little underwhelming for power. The Wagoneers do NOT have that. !! C'mon... an 2018 Chevy has more bells and whistles than a 2024 Wagoneer? Sheesh. I'm a Jeep guy too, have a Gladiator, would love to add another Jeep but...
I would take a Nissan titan all day with its V-8. We bought a new 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L Limited with the new Uconnect5. It was a PITA with the digital dash. We traded that Jeep back in after only 6 months. I'm in a blue state in the Northeast and I'm starting to see $8k discounts off the list for some of the Hornets sitting on dealers' lots near me.
Yeah, I bought a 2001 Chevy Silverado 1500 with a 4.3 brand new for 13500 in 01. 23 years later with only 78000 miles on the truck I wouldn't even think of stepping into the world of new truck Garbage.
I own a '91 Chevy Blazer, I'm getting ready to sell it, but : I "NEED" to find me, a: 93-98 Chevy/GMC: K1500 /5.7 v-8, or a Dodge Magnum V-8 (318), 98-02, Quad cab..........first, to fix it up make it dependable!
Like Ford and GM, Ram trucks are (or should be) their bread and butter. Ram has had the same cab on the 2500 since 2010. The truck has seen one grille and headlight change in 2019 since then. Ford and GM have made significant changes in the design, the cabs, tech, interior, transmissions, powertrain numbers, ect. Ram has become polarizing in the truck market due to a complete lack of change, the absurd cost for parts at the parts counter, all while still marking the prices up on a truck that hasn’t seen much more than 1 revision in 15 years.
At this time of year, ALL dealers stock up with inventory and the assembly plants shut down to convert to the new models. Are you going to tell us about all the other companies?
I was at a Chrysler dealership three weeks ago (buying a used Nissan Frontier) and there was a Jeep Grand Cherokee in the showroom priced at $112,000. That's insane.
I’m not buying till all of them GM Ford Dodge Chrysler come to their senses if ever. The state n county taxes on those price points are incredible. When I was a kid pick up truck was the cheapest vehicle you could buy it’s crazy.
The bolognie sandwich is becoming difficult. No sense whinning, though, time for us all to start being financially responsible, rethink our expectations and live within our means. Here I am stuck in the middle with you
Those loaded up Cummins 2500 Rams have a very low cargo capacity if you're thinking about towing with it.
That’s one reason for poorer sales especially when you can get the 1 ton for little more than
I was saving up for a car for 3 years now. Dont need one, as I work from home but just for fun. Decided to get a motorcycle instead. 14k Brand New for the type of thrill and fun you’d have with a car worth 100,000$ mid-life crisis toys don’t have to cost house prices, just sayin’
That’s a fair angle as cars are just too much so a bike can give much of the fun factor for fractions cheaper
wife wants a bigger SUV, currently in a 2018 Chevy Equinox, bought new. We took a Wagoneer for a test drive and wow, what a DUD. Her Equinox has an awesome 360 camera view while backing up. The Wagoneers do NOT have that. !! C'mon... an 2018 Chevy has more bells and whistles than a 2024 Wagoneer? Sheesh. I'm a Jeep guy too, have a Gladiator, would love to add another Jeep but...
Well that’s not very inspiring. My guess is that camera is available but at a nice price uograde
GM is junk bro
Why do you not mention gas prices as a factor why CDJR products aren’t selling? CDJR doesn’t sell vehicles that get good MPG.
They do not indeed but the die hards do not want EV or hybrids as much as
Gas is only $2.75 in my state
I would take a Nissan titan all day with its V-8.
They have to discourage t this stuff as they continue to sit on lots and there is too much on the horizon
Yeah, I bought a 2001 Chevy Silverado 1500 with a 4.3 brand new for 13500 in 01. 23 years later with only 78000 miles on the truck I wouldn't even think of stepping into the world of new truck Garbage.
That’s a great truck and that 4.3 was one of their best too. A keeper as only the 350 was bettrt
Those are some great options built from a simpler time
Selling expensive cars to poor folk is tough.
so what happens if they go out of business. what happens to all the cars on the lots?
Great question. Somebody buys up stock and maybe rebrand
The banks just sell them dirt cheap to pay off some of the loans
it would appear the hornet is the modern day YUGO with a 30k price tag.about 31k too much.
That’s true or a Lada Niva
Insurance prices is what will kill the industry
STOP TALKING DOWN THE ECONOMY! Biden says there's no cost of living crisis, he's fixed everything 😅
😂
Right, 🤡s are definitely taking over the sewage Swamp in the District of Columbia, Let's Go BRANDON ❗
Joe Biden & his New Green Deal & all ELECTRIC CARS! That is the problem!
It's funny how only Republicans are whining about the economy
Biden marched with BLM supporters in a UAW strike. That cuts half the country out of buying from UAW. UAW MEANS YOU AIN'T WORKING.
And how much value have you lost after driving one off the dealer lot? Huge and immediate depreciation.
Drop the price or go the way of the times belly up
Yes
All Consumers Should Hold On To What They Have For At Least 24 More Months😊😊😊
At this time of year, ALL dealers stock up with inventory and the assembly plants shut down to convert to the new models. Are you going to tell us about all the other companies?
2500 Ram Laramie in my town dealership now cost about 60 to 65k
I was at a Chrysler dealership three weeks ago (buying a used Nissan Frontier) and there was a Jeep Grand Cherokee in the showroom priced at $112,000. That's insane.
It was a Grand Wagoneer. Grand Cheeokees top out at 84k.
@@jefferyrobinson3575 That sounds about right.
I’m not buying till all of them GM Ford Dodge Chrysler come to their senses if ever. The state n county taxes on those price points are incredible. When I was a kid pick up truck was the cheapest vehicle you could buy it’s crazy.
The FJ CRUISER don't have the DEATH WOBBLE 😅
They just have death wallet prices
They will have to donate them to Ukraine.
😂
Yes
The bolognie sandwich is becoming difficult.
No sense whinning, though, time for us all to start being financially responsible, rethink our expectations and
live within our means.
The sky is not falling, we simply need to stop having ridiculous expectations. The reason ultra fancy vehicles are all we can buy is because WE, the consumer, have demanded it.
This isn't rocket science people.
That’s a great point and live within the means is always best
@@markholubetz I'm afraid it's the only recourse. To be honest, a little tap of the brakes for everyone won't hurt us in the long run. Probably make us better.
Keep up the good work.
The Ford dealership in Woodland Hills, CA has Raptor on its lot for $126,000.00
RAM 2500 yours for 108K. Ohhhhhhhhhhh Helllll NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
In 2021 I bought a 3 bedroom townhouse in Fredericksburg, Virginia for 188K.
A 30 year mortgage at 2.75% fixed. Stallantis and other automakers
are on drugs!!
That’s simply ridiculous at this point
@@markholubetz Crazy I wonder if they will sell even 10% of these.
🤔😣💩💩💩💩💩💩
Most of their platforms are old and their cars are grossly overpriced. They need significant investment to update. I don't think they can afford it.
True to re work the platform would take a major investment which ends up costing the buyers even more
Well maybe if they don’t charge arm and leg for they cars
True
am i the only one who likes the wagoneer? i can't afford one but i do like them
Nice but a little high priced
First, drop prices 40%. . .And maybe some fold will drop by to negotiate the rest.
Indeed , price decreases are the magical action that they can’t figure out
In Canada i heard the Hornet can cost over $70,000.00. Really?
I Run up and down 75 in Ohio and see new trucks loads of jeeps everyday.
Filling up lots of
I Don't hear Stalantis complaining. They must be exactly where they want to be.
The complaining is on the inside. Why do you think the VPs are getting. Shuffled ?
@@markholubetz I agree with everything you say, my comment is sarcastic toward Stalantis. I can't understand why they ruined a great product. They made their own mess and now have to live with the consequences. Great channel see you on the next clip.
This is a clear example of everything eventually being passed on to the loyal
& mostly unsuspecting customers. As per the deposits of the birds of flight.!*?/\.
The company that is selling AN image, just as much as it is selling a product i$ going
To be among the very ones that aRe going to suffer the most during an economic downturn.
66k for a base model jeep, 108k for a dodge ram..... Geez I can't figure out why people aren't interested in buying these.
Interest rates are not coming down for decades....
We just left the Age of cheap money 🤑🤑🤑
Get used to it.. it's called economics. Yes it is a real thing that affects you...read a book.
😅😅😅
Thanks
I want a 2 door jeep but I do not want it to cost the price of a small house. Their prices are ridiculous and their newer products are ugly or electric.
Like to know how many days a week the factories are running. Not buying something being built by part time workers that don't care.
I guess on pension alone I am Fu...ked. Lmao
Ouch
I say sell one of the divisions to Magna, my fellow Canadian.
They have to get an engineering team that can make engines and transmissions like Toyota.
the keg? earls? what about zambelli's?
How about, stop adding a whole bunch of unnecessary fearures to these vehicles and make them cheaper. It's crazy that a lot of these vehicles cost kore then $50K. Especially a pick-up truck, I'm actually looking to get one now and after seeing how these prices are, I would feel terrible spending that much money on one.... definitely look at used.
Yes make a wider span of features and set meaningful prices that correspond to the appropriate trim level
