Learn how to install Magpul MOE Furniture Kit. This is an AT3-Exclusive full furniture kit in multiple styles This furniture set contains 3 easy-to-install components - MOE mil-spec buttstock, MOE pistol grip, and MOE carbine handguard.

This a great video. I was unsure about how hard it would be to swap out the furniture on my new AR-15 with a Magpul stock. Now I see it's going to be incredibly easy and the only tool I'll need is a 3/16" hex wrench. Even I can do this!

I have all that on my FDE ar15 but if you use the soft grip it goes on better
Thanks for the video as I was concerned about the hand grip being too tight. I applied a little heat from a lighter and it popped on with just a tap.

For my 9 mm RUGER PC chassis carbine I :(1.)removed the RUGER "I-Beam" that runs inside the factory-supplied Magpul MOE (2.)clamped on a Midwest Industries folding buffer tube adaptor (3.)screwed an LBE aluminum buffer tube into the adaptor
(4.)slid on the original MOE stock on the buffer tube (To prevent the MOE stock wobbling on the tube I applied a 1" wide x 2" strip of Gorilla duct tape at 12 o'clock on the rearmost end of the buffer tube. This is the exact amount of tape needed, no more, no less.
VOILA' I now have a sturdy folding stock on my PCC while retaining the adjustable MOE stock.
Maybe a MAGPUL angled fore grip is next.

Everything except installing the handguard is easy. I'd recommend just ordering a complete upper from Palmetto State Armory with the handguard already installed and skip installing the handguard. Your patience (and hands) will thank you.
I swapped out all the Magpul furniture on my Sig Sauer M400 Moe enhanced. Why would I buy a PSA upper when I'm putting it on a Sig??
I did purchase a PSA AR pistol build kit that has Magpul everything except for the sba3 pistol brace however I did order the fde buttstock for the AR pistol because soon it's going to be a legit SBR.
It's a little ridiculous to have to pay $200 fucking dollars to put a butt stock on something that is legit just a couple inches shorter with the pistol brace but it's whatever I guess. The ATF can't find their dick in the dark with both hands.
But yeah buying an entire completed upper just because you don't want to replace carbine or whatever length gas system you have handguards is a little absurd. You can get the cheaper tool instead of replacing the entire upper.

Just a video tip, if you're using a mic, turn up the mic reception in the camera. In editing, I'd turn it up just a bit. Other than that great vid!

Did you ever figure out if the whole kit fits on the m&p 15-22..? I’m looking to do the same now. I know the stock, handgrip, foregrip do but I’m unsure about the handguard?
I couldn't use the camo trigger guard on my M&P sport 2 . but other than that was a good deal for 87.00 total . the stocks are notorious for having a little slop wobble there's RUclips videos on how to fix it

Absolutely did not buy the delta ring tool!!!! Freaking two fingers and done!! It's easy!!
No it's not that easy with all of them. I just bought a completed upper that had Magpul carbine length polymer handguard like the one in the video and it took both hands really cranking back on that thing and it was even harder to put it back together.
Now my 12 year old Sig Sauer M400 Moe enhanced when I swapped out all the Magpul furniture on that it came right off no problem.
I will never purchase a tool to do something like this though. If you need a tool then well either don't know what you're doing or need to work on that hand strength a little bit

I have a extar exp mk2 556 ar pistol and i wanna put a new hand guard with rails to install bells and whistles like lasers lights and an angled grip but I don’t know if any hand guard will fit do you know ??.

Pretty sure 90% of America calls it a hex wrench. What do you call it?
Anthony DeFabees Allen wrench (because of the brand) or hex key.
How bout how to install the newest M-Lok forend on a rifle with a front sight post and the wings on the handguard? Mine is impossible so far.
And the reason is that the M-Lok SL carbine handguard is incompatible with the S&W MP Sport II because the gas block with the picatinny rail on it has a notch that the SL will not fit. It need the M-Lok 424 handguard on that rifle to fit properly. I returned the SL one and got the 424, which also was on display on guns in the store that were not on display when I picked up my rifle and forend.

@@Catgat37 yes l erred in which one l purchased. The one l had gotten, forget the model atm, has the extended ‘wings’ that are to go beside the gas block. But the S&W M&P Sport 2 with the gas block that has no sights and has rails, does not work with it. I have found the correct one now. But now l want an extended one that goes beyond the gas block. I have only found one inline as of now, but not gotten it yet.
@@moffjerjerrod1579 I almost made the mistake of getting the commercial stock without realizing that it would not fit the mil spec buffer tube. How do you like your rifle?

I never met anyone that could t remove the hand guard without a tool lol. If you can’t remove the hand guard without a vice, stick to pistols
Exactly. Because eventually you're going to have to take the handguard off or something it may not be for many many many many many many many many many many years but it's going to have to happen someday.
I ordered a PSA AR pistol 10.5-in build kit. And I did take off the Magpul carbine length polymer handguard identical to the one in this video and it took me a couple minutes to get it off it took even longer to get it back on.
I have this ADHD OCD approach to firearm cleanliness. And the only way you're cleaning the barrel properly on the outside is by removing that hand guard. 🤷
