This watch really hits a sweet spot with me and my totally subjective watch priorities. This one actually had me checking the website daily to see if it was available again. I have a blue one on the way, happy to have paid $199 for it. Pretty great knowing I can only be $199 disappointed if I don’t like it. Thanks Chris!
Picked up a AMZWATCH's watch as my first watch last month and I’m absolutely in love with it. Perfect size, looks elegant, very comfortable. Now my only problem is holding off from buying more watches so quickly!
There's a lot to like here, you can't fault it for the money timex seem to be really upping there game. The wave pattern on the dial looks great, thanks for the review 😊
Thanks for the review Chris! A very attractive watch IMO, and I actually prefer the appearance of this stainless quartz version over the titanium automatic. Seems like a great value, but for just $20 more you can buy Citizen Promaster with eco-drive, which in addition to the solar aspect has a bit more dive watch credibility. The downside there is mineral crystal, though.
As a watch enthusiast with NO budget, thank you MAMACOO for great-looking mechanical watches that I can afford! their are very clean, classy look, $150 each. I still watch videos about expensive “proper” watches, but I enjoy what I have
I have a Cestrian Dive Series V1 and it is under 200.00. Even the V2 model is under 200.00 as well. Based in England and they also make a Field watch and a Sports/dress watch.
Better late than never! Timex are knocking it out the park lately. I have to say I prefer the quartz bezel colour - but the second hand from the automatic. But Im known to be awkward (just ask my wife!) Thanks for sharing your thoughts Chris.
I like the titanium but I'm a little concerned about the quality of Timex watches. What's the quality like on these newer releases? Are there any QC issues?
I absolutely love watches, the high end watch brands are out of my budget but the AMZWATCH has literally an almost duplicate of every single watch on the market . Always a great but no matter your budget.
I bought this popular video watch from MAMACOO , which was originally priced at a few thousand dollars, but now it's only $160! It's really suitable to pick up feces!
So what if it's inspired by a couple of dive classics? It's a great looking watch. If this had a Miyota 9039 no-date automatic movement it would be an instant buy at £300 - Timex are you listening? To be honest my trigger finger is twitching at £200 for quartz (no UK stock yet though)
I got the Timex Deep Water Reef GMT, and was disapointed, the seconds hand misses all the marks, and the watch has huge gaps between the case and the bracelet on each side. Does not look good. Also looks way bigger on the wrist than expected from the dimentions
I came to Timex boutique and tried to buy S1 Galli, ad told me it's sold out, then I tried Tiburion in dlc but ad told me they sold whole series of red strap Tiburion in first week, same was with Marlin automatic and Marlin with whole glass case. AD even told me they completely sold out field titanium also, in the end I bought black Tiburion. Point is that Timex in last few years is selling watches like hotcakes. I also didn't belive how Timex models are sold out on their main site so I came in boutique and situation is even worse. You just can't buy a cheap Timex anymore cuz they are really popular among manny casuals.
I received an obviously faulty watch. The titanium one The pip in the bezel isn't lumed. The minute and hour hands ate not lumed properly and and they almost don't glow at all. The rest of the lumed parts are lumed properly and do glow as expected. The movement also has something that is not ok. When setting the time you can feel how the wheels grind against each other. The only response from the customer care has been to return the watch and the shipping costs will be deducted from the refund. The reason they provide is that the watch doesn't meet my expectations, not that is a faulty watch. I find this outrageous. The watch strap has some serious design fault. The two parts are equally long and you will have to slide a substantial portion between your wrist and the other silicon part, which is very difficult, and to take it off is even more difficult with enormous force and i feel it will brake the silicon very soon.
I prefer watches from 100-1000 Euros being quartz. Automatics in that price range are anyway just throwaway movements, make the watches thicker and arent super nice to look. Imagine a Seiko SPB in quartz for 600-700 slimmer case and perfect accuracy😻. I like that timex gives you atleast options like Tissot with their Gentleman, PRX, Seastar
@@WatchChris yours has a lot more lume than some that I've seen. It's a shame since I really liked the titanium version. I did just buy the new green James Brand Timex GMT this morning.
@@jontpt how would this be an infomercial? I paid for the watch myself and that's my opinion. What dive watch do you think is better for under $200? This was actually $189 shipped with taxes...
@@WatchChris The list is long, but I'll give you one example - I bought a bronze Cronos Willard with a PT5000 movement last year for less than $130, which in every way is superior to this Timex. Even a Steeldive, for under $100, is better. Shall I continue?
It’s like a mixture of Omega Seamaster and Tudor.. looks super clean!!

@WatchChris how loud does it tick? Previous Timex watches I’ve owned I could hear across the room.

MAMACOO is a must for me as a watch collector
That actually looks fantastic. The seconds hand looks great against the black dial.
I agree! Thanks for the comment!
Definitely reminding me of the 62MAS
Yes for sure... Not a bad thing I would say. Thanks for the comment!
I love watching your videos and MAMACOO to keep myself updated on the world of watches
Like the looks and the second hand hits the markers!
I got this a few days ago for a little over $200 because I could only find it on a reseller sight (Uncrate). It's beautiful.
It's an awesome watch! Thanks for the comment!

Its a good looking watch but that counterbalance is the size of Montana!

Throw a mechanical movement in the stainless version. Now that would be awesome.
