Another brilliant video as usual! It's cool you guys are doing something unique, I haven't seen many film photography videos worth watching on youtube but these definitely tick all the boxes. Well done to all the team!
I'm happy you guys recreated this channel. When I first started film photography there were no channels like this. Thanks for channel it has inspired me to start shooting film again .
great shots, at the end maybe give us an overview of all the photos and evaluate so we know which shots you like and why and final recommendations maybe?
You guys seriously have the best photo RUclips channel right now. Each video you guys put out has such a wonderful aesthetic. I get excited when I see your videos pop up in my sub box.
I think you have something here, I could see this channel going places. I myself am making the switch from digital to film, and channels like this are what inspire me to continue forward with my journey into the world of film. Keep it up!!
was so interesting to see that studio style come through 1. In a loungeroom 2. On film & 3. With a bunch of friends just having a bit of fun. Loved this episode!
Such great and unique videos, a lot of amazing information and so well put together! Keep 'em coming! Been shooting film for a couple years now and this channel just shows how much I still need to learn.
absolutely in love with this channel! everything on here is so entertaining and original. I honostly feel like this channel deserves so much more recognition. keep up the great work!
i am pretty sure your channel appeared on my youtube home bcs i watched so many instant film videos. and i am glad i "found" you! damn, falling in love with all your works guys! well done!
Brilliant video, you are a group of exceedingly talented people. I can't see me taking film in to a studio any time soon, I need to be tethered so I can see where I am going with my light. If my USB port on my 5DII hadn't gone kaput I would never have invested in the 5DIII.
just found this channel and couldn't be happier! i love your vids--they're very informational, professional, but also fun ! definitely deserve more subscribers :)
You guys are doing things I've always wondered about and thought I could only experiment myself to see the results! I wasn't even sure if the film camera and modern flash would work together, cool!! Looking forward to all your future videos :))
Hi guys ! I really appreciate your work, but could you put side by side (on the video or later, on a website) similar shots on different films? That would help people (and me as well) to choose between films, or just to see the differences between them. Cheers
thank you for explaining how a strobe works! This is the first time in months i've been able to understand! just to make sure, was that a bulb socket in the middle of the strobe?
Great work guys! Really makes me want to move into shooting on film, I've never worked with it before and it's a little daunting! (Which camera, which film, light meters, processing ect ect)
Thanks! It's not as scary as you think, film is really forgiving (especially good film i.e portra) when incorrectly exposed, just pick up a cheap camera and give it a go, you can only get better the more you try!
Nice. I'm curious about some of the compositions, though. What is the reason for framing some of the portraits with the head in the center of the frame? I'm sure that there is a good reason for it, but it just looks wrong to me at first glance. Otherwise, beautiful shots.
Mmm time to get a light meter mates, way more exciting. And also it's worth talking about shooting tests on instant backs, if you can still find the films. This wasn't much of a session.
Could you please the details of the flash? Would the fash work with a Mamiya RZ67??? Could point to any camera shops in London that stock medium format camera's and accessories???:0)
+negativefeedback I noticed a lot of the shots on the Leica had a lot of head room. I was wondering was that a stylistic choice or is that simply the crux of shooting without a mirror.
please and how does it cost and I have a Nikon f2as and a leica m6 classic, what ISO and shutter speed and aperture can I use for the shoot? where can I find the remote control (to fix on my camera)? and where can I find the umbrella (for fix to my spot) thanks for this vids!
I'm sure you've been asked this and answered it already, but what flash sync are you using on the leicas? Just curious due to the slow building of my own studio gear.
this series gives me life
Thank you so much, you're too kind!
Enjoying these
Thanks man, hope to catch up soon
Another brilliant video as usual! It's cool you guys are doing something unique, I haven't seen many film photography videos worth watching on youtube but these definitely tick all the boxes. Well done to all the team!

I'm happy you guys recreated this channel. When I first started film photography there were no channels like this. Thanks for channel it has inspired me to start shooting film again .
Ok this was genuinely helpful and I need more studio lighting & film videos like this!
great shots, at the end maybe give us an overview of all the photos and evaluate so we know which shots you like and why and final recommendations maybe?
really love the flow of this series. great information and experimentation, but not too serious or boring. great stuff!
Thank you!
You guys seriously have the best photo RUclips channel right now. Each video you guys put out has such a wonderful aesthetic. I get excited when I see your videos pop up in my sub box.
Thank you so much, hopefully we can retain that claim!
Just binge watched the entire series, love the channel guys!
Great video guys, that's a nice volley of cameras. Especially liking the crisp images taken with the metz flash gun

I really liked the results with the overhead lighting setup. Those shots look amazing!
Aw Aria and Matt are adorable. That photoshoot was 10/10.

Brilliantly insightful, thanks George / Harry :)
So good guys! Love shooting with that metz setup, so much powerrrr!
You feel crazy powerful when you hold that thing too, it's like a tank
yeah plus you have the power to inflict instant cataracts on all your enemies
Are you insinuating you become the superhero - Metz Man?

This series is beautiful and informative . Can u please make a video about how u edit the photos ? Thank u so much
love your videos ! keep goining !
btw which film have you used in this video? i like the colors of the last two pictures :)
+NegativeFeedback I've just picked up some film for my Dads old Yashica-D that I'll give a spin next week! I'll let you know how it goes!
Awesome! There are lots of light meter apps for smartphones, just give one of them a go when shooting with it
Cool studio😊
Nice. I'm curious about some of the compositions, though. What is the reason for framing some of the portraits with the head in the center of the frame? I'm sure that there is a good reason for it, but it just looks wrong to me at first glance. Otherwise, beautiful shots.
Great idea for a channel. Keep it up! You should try cross-processing some Provia.
That hammerhead flash is actually quite saucy
Hey guys, what do you use to make photos digital? Do you scan negatives? Using what hardware? Great series!
These photos were taken to a professional lab who scanned the negatives for us
Mmm time to get a light meter mates, way more exciting. And also it's worth talking about shooting tests on instant backs, if you can still find the films. This wasn't much of a session.
great tutorial. Thanks for sharing
Could you tell what kind of light and beauty dish you are using? :) And would this work on a Hasselblad 500 CM?
2:37 this part is so cute 💞
What's the best approach for making sure you have your flash set to the right power when dealing with film, where you can't see the image right away?
Light meter hooked to a PC sync cord hooked into the flash. Or a digital test shot which is what they used here
Just shows me how much I need to learn
Would love to see more work with the Metz mecablitz
Could you please the details of the flash? Would the fash work with a Mamiya RZ67??? Could point to any camera shops in London that stock medium format camera's and accessories???:0)
good to see Aria other side of a camera
Another video that push me to shoot. I will.

What is the process of getting the electronic flash to work on the film camera? What do you need?
Where can I find these camera but not for a thousand dollars ?!
fuq this is so good.
you drop so much knowledge on me

I'm loving your work, btw in the description you put htttp not http ☺

+NegativeFeedback no problem, you inspired me to go out and shoot a roll of Ektar and HP5 today!!
