Hey Shayda, because of you I have picked up supplies and sat on my front porch to sketched the flowers in my garden...I haven't done this in 35 years! Babies, small children then work got in the way. Now semi retired I am trying my hand at it once again. At first they were a little stiff looking but there is improvement with each day....so thank you for your calm easy manor it is relaxing and refreshing. I would love to see pumpkins, gourds, and/or sunflowers! Thank you again!!

Latin Botanical Plates inspired themes like bird nest with eggs or different types of eggs. More mushrooms would be lovely too. Much appreciation for the hard work you and Chris do to bring us so much content so often and making it very approachable. You make it seem so easy but the hard work behind the scenes is evident to anyone who takes a minute to see. To be able to enjoy the videos then enjoy the process and be successful in a short amount of time compared to what I have labored over in the past for hours is a welcome change. Anything you do is beautiful and welcome and I will attempt it. I’m drawing everyday now and it is making such a difference. I am loving the wet on wet watercolor techniques and the ink over the painting. I am a patron on Patreon now and the extra content is just great- highly recommend!

First of all, thank you Shayda for bringing me back to watercolors since my school days, some 30 years later ;) The next object I love paining after flowers are simple abstract landscapes such as ocean beach with some seashells or little town square and old buildings around it. To make my request simpler, how about various seashells or sea creatures. Million thanks for passing your inspiration onto us!

Your advice about getting out of a creative funk really worked. My just do it painting was a disaster but I turned the paper over and produced; not a perfect drawing but an acceptable one. This in turn spurned me on to continue painting at least one a day. Thanks to you I am back in the groove. Andrea in smoky northern California.

I’ve been watching your videos for a couple of months now and I absolutely adore your style and the way you teach and encourage people to find ways to express their creativity through painting and drawing. I am an absolute beginner but I’ve been able to make so much progress since I first started to watch your videos. I would like to see something about how to paint crocus; which is my favourite late winter flower.

Hi, I'm new to water color and am now addicted! Your tutorials have been very helpful from colors to layout and sketching. I would also love to see some shells, sea stars and or trees!
As allways thank you for the inspiration. I dabble in watercolor - but textiles are my favorite medium. As with all art -and most things in life - the more you do the better you get. Due to working more in watercolor I have begun using my derwent inktense sticks on fabrics and turning them into bags and wallets. The watercolor gave me the confidence to use the inktense and linen fabric , I was always afraid of wasting them because the are rather pricey. Then I moved onto punch needle embroidery - simple flowers but my color blending has become so much better.
I think some needle punched coasters with mushrooms would be beautiful - I'll do some watercolors first to work out my pallet. So it's not just watercolor artists you are inspiring thank you so much for sharing your talents and you are a wonderful teacher!
BTW I'm not young and just starting - I'll be 67 very soon - You and the self isolation made me really focus on my artistic side again, fortunately I had most of the supplies on hand LOL!

I love videos like this and the one where you showed your whole process in real time of the wild flowers. I like trying to follow along. If you go too fast, I have to rewind the whole time, which is frustrating, so I would like to have more follow along videos of especially nature themed stuff. Love your channel!
