I originally started this track back in August, way before I went on vacation; was having a depressive episode, so this is basically my auditory representation of that emotion - what could be beautiful and calm melodies is taken up by oppressive, vast noise and dissonant chords.
Anyways, the void's unfathomable vastness awaits, join me on my journey into the lands deep into the great nothing.

Love the eerie vibe for this theme, I was anticipating this one for a while and the instruments in this give off a ‘warped cosmos’ feel, as if the end shouldn’t belong. I used to have nightmares of the end as a kid because of its off putting out of place vibe and it’s exhilarating to relive that horror as a teen. Magnificent work as always
After hours of playing, you finally come back to the End after seemingly exhausting any use of the dimension. Materials? Got those. Elytra? Solved. Mobs? Farme-
As you exit the strange void that is the portal to this forsaken place, something seems off - and its not just the music. You turn in place, scanning the blocky vista with a look of worry, something ever so different bothering you. . .
and then you realize it
There were no mobs. . .
No endermen in sight
And - those stars in the sky weren't there before. . .right?
an overwhelming sense of dread comes over you, and as you leave the end, you realize what you must do to protect yourself and the lovely towns you have built.
As the pieces of the portal frame fall into the lava that bring the portal room warmth, you feel a sense of relief, knowing whatever has made it's grasp on the end is too far from you to think of even touching you. You leave the stronghold and go back home in the beautiful twilight, undisturbed....
not even realizing that you came across no mobs on your way home, you go back to sleep comfortably, and the stars watch intently.

You try to ignore it and continue with your daily tasks, but the sense of unease grows stronger with each passing day. You begin to question whether this is all in your head or if something truly sinister is happening in your world.
As you explore your world, you notice strange patterns and occurrences that were never there before. The trees seem to be dying faster, the rivers are running dry, and the crops are withering away, redstone not working as ever does, days felt like hours and hours like days. The sun and moon seem to be moving faster, rising and setting at an alarming rate. You start losing track of time, unsure if it's morning or night.
Ticks weren't the same and gamerules must have been changed, but none could changed them. You begin to feel like a stranger in your own world.
The familiar landmarks that once guided you now seem distorted, and the once vibrant colors of the landscape now appear dull and lifeless. The more you try to make sense of it all, the more confusing it becomes.
And... oh that feeling... the feeling of being watched and followed begins to consume you. You can't shake the feeling that something is lurking in the shadows, just out of your sight, and with that feeling growing, your paranoia does.
i love the noise crackles and the vibrato/cutting effect thing on the lead, really gives off an uneasy vibe
The theme the end needs and deserves. Brilliant

to add onto StormUprising, I'm literally 20 and can confirm this song is exactly how I felt about The End in name and concept 8 years ago *and* 2 days ago going to it in pixelmon with those same friends I met back then
there's something so eerie about a shard of some erroded location all one block now, sacrificial spires upholding a supressing dragon, the walking talking remnants of a civilization that will never tell its history, all stuck together in a finite area in an infinite void
I touch the void, and through this clasp, I learn to hold nothing.
more Minecraft stuff! love the ambience. was always something about the way C418 handled ambience and you are recreating those same feels
I get largely the same vibes from this as I do from the actual 'the end' track from minecraft volume beta. more of a distinct melody, though. I feel like they both fit the end environment really well.

As always, this is incredible and creates such a foreboding atmosphere. Definitely something you'd hear in some sort of "walk to the final confrontation".

You jump through the strange portal and slam your head against pale white stone. As you get on your feet you can’t help but stare in awe and horror at what looms over you. Humongous obelisks of jet black obsidian pierce the static filled sky above. You look around yourself, hordes of those strange revoltingly tall “men” you’ve occasionally seen in the overworld and the nether surround you. You immediately look down at your feet. You’ve seen what those MONSTERS do to anything and anyone that stares into their eyes. Thankfully, you seemingly haven’t aggravated any of them. You step forward taking care not to touch the lanky abominations around you. A deafening roar echos above you. You look up and see… a dragon? You thought they’d gone extinct tens of thousands of years ago. As you stare at it’s menacing silhouette you realize that retrieving the legendary Elytra won’t be as simple as you thought.
Did you by any chance listen to Celeste’s 12th piece in its ost “In the Mirror” for inspiration on this? It sounds so similar, I really almost thought this was celeste for a moment.. Great job as always >:D

It would be interesting if the pillars were buried into the ground when you first get to the End. Then you had to place the End crystals on the bedrock pedestals for the the pillars to rise up as you summon the Ender Dragon.
This song reminds me a lot of In The Mirror from Celeste, was that intentional or is it just me?
