Not saying the cloud-thing was a good alternative, but c'mon, look at the guy. How is he supposed to work in live-action without a major design-change?
What I hate about this Marvel universe is the fact that the supervillains are obviously way to powerful for the Avengers to ever defeat them, common. Thanos, Ultron, Galactus....Avengers dont have shit on them
The Avengers actually have shit on them, but only if they fight together. But if its only in 1 on 1, then only Thor and Hulk (and maybe Iron man with his latest armors) would be able to do any noticeable damage. But as a team, Hulk and Thor would be those that would lead the heavy attacks, Iron man could make up a gadget that can suppress the villain's attacks along with dealing some damage himself. While Cap could find weaknesses on the villain's attacks so that the heavy hitters can deal more damage, as well as his shield might become pretty useful considering that it can tank most of the attacks the villain can launch (even tho it might break sooner or later in this case).
Hell no. Thor is crazy strong like the shit he's done with the odinforce. And seriously? THE FUCKING HULK is on the avengers. Even thanos tries to avoid fighting hulk if possible. Iron Man's suits get insanely improved upon as he develops them as well (flying at mach 8.7 and tanking multiple nukes level) and holy shit dont even get me started on captain america.
The reason Galactus can be used so much in comics despite all his power is because unlike other cosmic beings (such as Eternity and Infinity) he doesn't have unlimited power all the time. He begins to lose power when he doesn't feed, which is what gives weaker characters a shot if they're in big enough teams. For example a STARVING Galactus was beaten by a team of The Avengers, The Fantastic Four and Dr Strange. If you don't know Dr Strange, he's powerful enough to take the other teams himself.
Wait wait, there was a WatchMojo list for the worst super villain portrayals right? If there isn't one, please make one and put Galactus from FF4 : Rise of the Silver Surfer... ..and venom from Spider-Man 3.
Like the summary. Felt let down by his appearance in the Fantastic Four movie. Now you could see his general shape when Silver Surfer entered the cloud but there seemed to be absolutely no power there and he was easily dispatched by Silver Surfer.
I'm on a binge of Supervillian Origins. Almost all bad guys seem the same. Some random occurrence formed the most evil and powerful thing EVER and absolutely nothing can stop it. Until the good guys come along and find a way to stop it. Still, it's pretty fun to watch.
The thing is Galactus devours planets not because he's evil and just wants to kill people, it's because he HAS TO. He feeds on planets as his source of energy, he has no other choice, he's just surviving really.
+KumaoftheForest Too many writers involved. Every time they change writers, the story and characters change to some degree. For example, it's one of the reasons (if not *the* reason) Superman became increasingly powerful over the years. Reboots and retcons are other consequences, with the former usually happening because a new writer might think that the previous one(s) fucked things up and they want to bring the comic back on track again.
Peter Parker, Clark Kent and Bruce Wayne have more or less one fixed origin story. The problem is that different writers have different visions for the characters.
Unicron I guess. Galactus gets weaker over the time he doesn't feed or uses his powers, and Unicron doesn't have the problem of losing power. Plus even if Galactus destroy Unicron's body, he can survive as a "spirit". ThT is what I think at least, what are your thoughts on this? :)
Yeah... do too the power Cosmic being described as like endless unthinkable power I believe the silver surfer or anybody possessing it for that matter could kill Unicron. As I recall Unicron has a "heart" that if destroyed he dies. I may be wrong on that though.
I remember reading long ago a really cool encounter between the phoenix rachel summers/grey and galactus....Big G was starving and about to devour a planet and was beaten pretty easily by rachel but he overwhelmed her on another level by just being the entity he is without human emotion describing the purpose of the phoenix and how it wasn't anymore innocent in the scheme of things then he is was a very cool thing to see....rachel was so shammed she just flew away and galactus continued his meal was a interesting contrast of the cosmic beings.
what movie was that clip of Galactus and the silver surfer...? Not the sucky cloud that was supposed to be Galactus in the F4 movie, but the clip that looked like a cartoon/3d Animation.
Actually that cloud was the outer layer of Galactus. When the Surfer gets to the core we a being of energy that's appearance looks like the trademark helmet. I would've prefered an actor or something that showed real sentience,
Galan didn't travel to the source of the event to stop it. He and his companions knew very well that it was something beyond them. Galan traveled there in order to see the final moment of the universe, any scientist would do the same to see an unique event in the final moments of his life.
I might think your top tens are always missing something, but your origins work is great. Even one or two things that this old nerd/geek did not know. (Generalising from the footage I have watched, thus far, on the many different posts.) Thank you very much. These save me explaining things to some of my mates, who are getting into comics for the first time, all thanks to the movies. So, thank you also, for saving me time. :)
The big bangs event horizon? I thought only black holes had an event horizon? Well, whomever came up with this pre big bang idea, I applaud them, science fiction use to be awesome and thought provoking.
Supposedly there's a black hole at the center of the universe each time there's a big bang. Just so everything can clash back together and explode once more. But given the theories of entropy, I'm doubtfall it's a real thing. But I do like sci-fi so I'll just work with it lol.
Big bangs are white holes. (The other end of a black hole opening /leading to a new/different dimension(wormhole)) it was on something I read many years ago. Do consisting top paraphrase.
Walder Hodor Forget that dumbass movie? There was no movie called Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. Anyone who says differently is a filthy liar and should be banished to the desert of no return.
Yup. Thanos is just a warm up. Sadly galactus may not happen till marvel gets all its movie rights back from fox. Getting spiderman from Sony for civil war was a good start tho.
***** I know he is, I'm talking about the movieverse... hence the mention of Sony. Anyways, where is Galactus confirmed for the infinity war movie? Fox has the rights for Galactus because of Fantastic Four. So yea, like I said no Galactus till Marvel gets their rights back.
Lol you think thanos is a warm up for the avengers? Thanos is one of the most powerful villains ever with the IG, which he will use in the new avengers movie
Don't get me wrong please, I do love Galactus... one of the most interesting and powerful comic book characters from either Marvel or DC. But people seem to think he is the strongest or one of them, truth is there are tons of characters that are way more powerful than him...take the Living Tribunal and The-One-Above-All (the two most powerful beings in the Marvel universe).
but exactly how often has the living tribunal appeared in comic books? the only one i know of is the infinity gauntlet series, and then The-One-Above-All i think he's appeared even less.
I think that the strongest beings on the Marvel Universe are 1 - One Above All 2 - the Beyonder 3 - Living Tribunal 4 - Galactus I'm not 100% sure, so correct me if I'm wrong
Alex Carr hey would you happen to know if ''the origin of galactus'' is just a newer version of ''galactus the origin''? cause i have galactus the origin but it has the same things shown in the vid and the comic in the vid is the origin of galactus
Edgar Ledesma I can't say for sure but I think they may be the same but tweaked. Its a guess, I do not known either but I think I read one of them but no clue which. Sorry I cant be more helpful.
+rubikfan1 actually he eats planets to sustain himself. if he didn't keep eating he would die. and he himself stated "I will give back as much as I take from the universe
He is the devourer of worlds! Welcome to WatchMojo.com and today we’ll be exploring the comic book origins of Galactus. As with most comic book characters, there are often re-imaginings and different versions to a character’s past. We have chosen to primarily follow the storyline that unfolded in 1966’s Fantastic Four #48, which was expanded upon in 1996’s Origin of Galactus #1. A nearly omnipotent being from the Marvel universe, Galactus is the sole survivor of a universe that existed before the Big Bang. Born billions ago on the technologically advanced paradise world of Taa, he was once named Galen, and became aware that all currently existing life was about to end abruptly with the occurrence of the big bang. With his people dying of radiation poisoning, he decided to bravely fly his spaceship into the Big Bang’s event horizon in an attempt to sacrifice himself and neutralize its formation. However, once inside he discovered a cosmic entity called “the sentience of the Universe”, who merged with him as the big bang decimated and fertilized. Resurrected, he drifted for billions of years in an inert state until he was happened upon by a Watcher, a member of an advanced alien species studying the cosmos and practicing non-interference. Giving into his curiosity, the watcher inadvertently awoke Galactus. Having become a life form of pure energy, Galactus formed a body suit to regulate his boundless power and entered a new state of hibernation that would allow him to evolve into his final form. This incubation period ended when he fed upon the elemental energy of a nearby planet and crafted a reproduction of his long-destroyed homeworld, which he called Taa II. In the millennia that followed, Galactus fed upon the energies of countless uninhabited worlds, and the time needed between feedings continued to diminish. Eventually, he lost all reservations about annihilating life forms and turned his attention to inhabited worlds, seeing himself as a superior being that kept the balance between death and eternity. Galactus then came upon the planet of Zenn-La, and was convinced by one of its natives to show mercy in exchange for loyal service as his Herald. Bestowed with the “Power Cosmic”, this selfless being became the Silver Surfer, who would act as Galactus’ scout and seek out new planets for his master to devour. It was he who then discovered earth… At this time, a visiting Watcher recognized the imminent danger, and decided to intervene by forming a barrier around the planet. With the Surfer making his way through the enclosure with ease, a message was sent to his master, who quickly arrived in his giant ship only to be met by the Fantastic Four. Ignoring their pleas, Galactus formed a ray to convert the planet’s elemental energy. However, the Silver surfer felt pity for the humans and decided to help the Fantastic 4 restrain Galactus. While the Thing destroyed the world-consuming device, the Watcher transported The Human Torch to Taa II to retrieve a powerful weapon called “The Ultimate Nullifier.” With the Fantastic Four threatening to use the Nullifier to destroy Galactus, he was forced to promise not to harm their world in exchange for the weapon’s return. However, Galactus eventually returned out of desperation for his Herald to rejoin him, and to claim Earth’s life energy, thus spurring a face off against Earth’s mightiest heroes, the Avengers. An unrivalled force, Galactus has demonstrated a vast and never-ending array of incredible powers, including taking on the appearance of whatever species looks upon him and resurrecting the dead. He continues to appear in countless media, and marked his live action debut in 2007’s “Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer.” Are you a Galactus fan? i wonder now dragonball Universe expanded to 12 universes soo what if Beerus , Glacutus ,champa, Darksied and thanos meets and have cup of coffie I sound so stupid lol
lol the marvel power scaling is so full of shit. thanos with the infinity gauntlet actually still fights people. if he is so god like why can't he just kill them with a blink of his eye? same with galactus. not to mention these so called "god like" people do get beaten some other heros in the marvel universe. ok so wtf is with the reality warping shit? if someone can reality warp then wouldn't they be like the strongest? as far i know the celestials can reality warp but yet they are not the strongest. so basically lets say both the celestials and galatus are god like so if they were to fight then the first one to wish the other out of existence wins? even then, they still actually "fight" with marvel heros. i believe celestials have fought with odin and the other gods before? if they truly were what their abilities say they are then why do they have to attack? they can just win with a blink of an eye.(they do have attacks so that means they really need to attack to win they can't just blink an eye) and lets say somebody already has control over everything like for example thanos with the infinity gaunlet how exactly is there somebody stronger than him? i mean he has control of everything................ marvel is so full of shit lol.
Thanos /w IG was only fighting ppl when he weakened himself to put on a show for Death. When he was fighting with his full power he was fighting the Cosmic Abstracts. If someone can warp reality it doesn't mean theyre the strongest. Its a huge power though. There are beings with power over the entire multiverse. The most powerful reality warper has only shown to have warp over a single universe. Galactus won't beat the Celestials, there are so many of them. Unless he's at full power which has been stated that he's equal to Eternity. Then he would probably beat the Celestials. Nobody was stronger than Thanos /w IG. Except The Living Tribunal. Thanos just has some a subconscious inferiority complex that makes himself lose. The only true god of Marvel is TOAA (which is the Marvel company itself).
You don't know much about D.C. comics do you? PLENTY of ridiculously powered "godlike" beings there . 1) The Spectre 2) The Anti-monitor (He eats freaking universes). 3) Mr Mxyzptlk (D.C. has said he can literally change the laws of logic itself, and he's not even top dog) 4) Elaine Belloc 5) Michael Demiurgos 6) Nekron 7) Kismet 8) The Endless (7 different characters ) 9) Eclipso 10) Superman Prime One Million (a version of Superman that can destroy entire galaxies and warp reality ) I could go on.
Onieracraft To be fair, what the dude said earlier about Marvel can be used agaisnt DC as well, as a matter of fact, any comic book for this matter is a fucking mess, they have a shit load of stories being made at the same time by different writers, years of stories and a shit load of characters, theres no way it could not be a mess, they even try to solve the problems that all of this bring by making those crises and shit but its impossible, the fact is that any comic book company make a mess and is full of bullshit, even Star Wars comic book sucked, to the point where there are comics where Boba Fett defeat Darth Vader in a fist combat... no jokes, and it was not even the first time that Bobba Fett defeated Darth mothafucking Vader...
Thanos (infinity gaunet) + Darkseid + Apocalypse + Doomsday + Galactus + Vulcan + Onslaught + every other supervillain in dc and marvel. Give Batman a few days and he'll be ready
+Jack Houlihan pls bro, not again with that dude! He is a stupid human who thinks that he is capable of such thing, sure when he is fighting the likes of Joker etc, but Darkseid!?? All i can think of is to laugh at him and those who make him fight them.
Pple make this guy like he's one of the OP charecters in Marvel universe😇, well guess what he ain't❌.... I can name 10 mutants not just comics but mutants that r way powerful than this dude😊😊.
+Jesus Ramirez Romo no not Apocalypse, but Matthew Malloy, Scarlet Witch, Franklin Richards, MJJ, Legion, Onslaught, Hope Summers, Selene. Nate Grey, Vulcan and Iceman r OP as well but i don't think they can take down Galactus but IMO they can give him a good fight.
+Guled Abdo do you even remotely know what powers Galactus has? Thanos being as overpowered as he is could take on the names u just named out. And if Thanos can't even land a single hit on Galactus, than I think you're in for a shock.
+Carlos MagicSchoolBus Franklin Richards owns Galactus now, and Matthew Malloy can own Franklin Anytime he wishes.. I'm pretty much aware of what Galactus is capable of, but one word of the Scarlet Witch "no more Galactus" can erase Galactus from existence, MJJ is stronger than Galactus and same goes to Onslaught and Hope Summers. The Phoenix Force made Galactus what he is now so all of those charecters r above Galactus.
Father galactus: I’m home with planets. Kids: YAY Father galactus: Try one Kids: ok Kids: Mmm what is that cream in the middle Father galactus: Oh that’s the core of some of the planets
Enlighten me then, how could Doctor Who take on Galactus, he would dissolve him with his mind! He once moved a galaxy from one end of the Universe, to the other end (the Universe is infinite.)
Well, the universe isn't really infinite, and Galactus moving a galaxy would not really do anything to The Doctor, and The Doctor could for example blow up the T.A.R.D.I.S that would destroy the universe and Galactus. And thats just one of the things he could do.
Angumar But you see, in Marvel the Universe, it IS infinite. And Galactus is a force of nature, killing him would simply kill that version of Galactus (just like Doctor Who, Marvel and DC have the Multiverse theory.) Also the Celestials could make Galactus immortal. And The One Who Is Above All could rebuild the Universe.
The Living Tribunal is (just)the 2nd most powerful being in the Marvel Universe (The One Above All is top). The Living Tribunal destroyed the Infinity Gauntlet with ease.
God, not being a comic book fan I didn't realise just how cliche their characters, story lines and origins are... Thank God for Breaking Bad and Game of Throne! As far from cliche as something can get.
Dragon ball series was fun when we were younger. the writers on the show were crap and made humans weak and worthless. the powers the characters displayed were way over the top. i hate it when people do the whole vs. thing with Marvel and DBZ.
Richard Löwenherz We look back on older franchises from when we were kids some hold up and others do not. This may be because we become more mature or simply desensitized. DBZ/GT is not a bad show but come one man. DBZ writers were sooo bad I mean I can destroy this planet with one little finger beam yet I have to power up for 3 episodes to destroy Namek?
Not only Stronger, but way, way way more versatiles, and is a Force of Nature, he is a Billions of Years Old Cosmic Entity (He was there before the Big Bang), He is a Balence within the Marvel Universe, a balence between Death and Lifes, he can bring Death when there is too many lifes among the Cosmos, and bring Lifes when there is too many Deaths, among the Cosmos. Lady Death take care about the Death Domain Eternity/Infinty take care about the Creation of Life/Time The 3 of them are the Equillibrium in the Marvel Universe.
I'm so glad to learn that they used the version of Galactus voiced by Tony Jay; he could pull off sinister and omnipotent (all-powerful) with little effort.
Galactus is either a hero or a villain in the marvel comics universe and I think he was so much different than any other marvel comics character in the comics book industry or something like that and he was part of the marvel comics universe for a long time since was introduced in the 60s
Am I the only one that would like to see a battle between these five: Doomsday vs Darkseid vs Thanos vs Galactus vs Apocalypse. the battle would take place on the earth.
You know Arthur, when you spend two months riding around on a really big man, you start to learn a few things about yourself. You learn that it is a really great thing to stay on Earth, and live in a place that has no legs or arms of its own. Most importantly Arthur, you learn how to close your eyes and tell yourself, “This just isn’t happening to me.” ~The Tick

dude, spider man once beat galactus.
Sanic
Are you refering to the time where he got THE phoenix force? aka literally one of the strongest force in marvel universe?
kibateo there was a time where Galactus was super weak and spidy kicked his ass.
Galactus isn't invincible.
He's been beatin by a bunch if people
The reason Galactus can be used so much in comics despite all his power is because unlike other cosmic beings (such as Eternity and Infinity) he doesn't have unlimited power all the time.
Thank you for putting these together. The work is very much appriciated.
OK, I haven't seen rise of the silver surfer, nor do I plan to, but someone PLEASE TELL ME THAT CLOUD OF FART GAS ISN'T SUPPOSED TO BE GALACTUS!!!
Yep. That's the best Marvel can give fans. A giant cloud of sh*t.
yeah true actually.
still. that was the best it was when it came to marvel related films.
it looked scarier though
Toby dog No, it didn't. Not even close.
Wait wait, there was a WatchMojo list for the worst super villain portrayals right? If there isn't one, please make one and put Galactus from FF4 : Rise of the Silver Surfer...
..and venom from Spider-Man 3.
and bane from TDKR
Like the summary. Felt let down by his appearance in the Fantastic Four movie. Now you could see his general shape when Silver Surfer entered the cloud but there seemed to be absolutely no power there and he was easily dispatched by Silver Surfer.
i didn't even know that was galactus until this video. disappointing doesn't even begin to describe "galactus" in that movie
That movie is best to be forgotten. Just the fact that the silver surfer could kamekaze down galactus.
You commented this 9yrs ago. How’s life?
I'm on a binge of Supervillian Origins. Almost all bad guys seem the same. Some random occurrence formed the most evil and powerful thing EVER and absolutely nothing can stop it. Until the good guys come along and find a way to stop it.
Still, it's pretty fun to watch.
The thing is Galactus devours planets not because he's evil and just wants to kill people, it's because he HAS TO. He feeds on planets as his source of energy, he has no other choice, he's just surviving really.
@justdont By that standard, we can say zombies, werewolves, and vampires aren't villains.
I love when Galactus dies by a lawyer sneezing on him
Such a weak ending to silver surfer movie
Actually it was fantastic 4 2.
CyberneticSharkYT
But to the rest of the sane public, it's "that silver surfer movie".
I felt so rustled that they even suggested the notion that silver surfer could single handedly defeat galactus.
I would love a movie where the avengers, spiderman, fantastic 4, guardians of the Galaxy, the x men vs thanos and Galactus
Tyler McGee Also known as the Infinity Gauntlet series...
He’s going to be in the next episode of Death Battle, and his opponent is Unicron from Transformers
is there ANYONE on the list that doesn't have multiple origin stories, like would it kill Marvel or DC to stay with ONE origin story for a character
+Monoman:The Giant Slayer probly. they gotta inform newer generations of the hero/villain somehow
+KumaoftheForest Spiderman. bitten by radioactive spider, uncle ben dies, vows to fight crime because with great power comes great responsibility ;)
Perry D Google Miles Morales.
Peter Parker, Clark Kent and Bruce Wayne have more or less one fixed origin story. The problem is that different writers have different visions for the characters.
Galactus vs Unicron
Who would win?
Unicron I guess. Galactus gets weaker over the time he doesn't feed or uses his powers, and Unicron doesn't have the problem of losing power. Plus even if Galactus destroy Unicron's body, he can survive as a "spirit".
ThT is what I think at least, what are your thoughts on this? :)
Yeah... do too the power Cosmic being described as like endless unthinkable power I believe the silver surfer or anybody possessing it for that matter could kill Unicron. As I recall Unicron has a "heart" that if destroyed he dies. I may be wrong on that though.
Galactus. Nothing can easily beat the Power Cosmic.EDIT: I changed my mind.
BUT Unicron is somewhat of a god if the TF universe, I mean he has survived dying before and can exist as a spirit.
Mama Luigi the only thing that can kill Unicron is the Autobot Matrix of Leadership
The Watcher practices noninterference. YOU HAD ONE JOB WATCHER!! ONE JOB!! lol
1:04 he didn’t feed on the power of the sentians, he was saved by the Phoenix force and remained dormant for billions of years.
This channel could keep me entertained by days...
Can you amagine what it would be like to be a billion years old?
Good point.
No thank you
Galactus:ya
I couldn't imagine what it would be like to be 80 years old
Now times that by 13...
Silver Surfer: The Animated Series
Adrian Dickson
Dope. I wonder if I can get it on Netflix?
matreyia
It was on Netflix Streaming the last time I checked and most (not all) of the episodes are also on RUclips.
Actually that cloud was the outer layer of Galactus. When the Surfer gets to the core we a being of energy that's appearance looks like the trademark helmet. I would've prefered an actor or something that showed real sentience,
There were too many origins, stories and comics to decipher the whole story myself. Thanks for the video!!
Galan didn't travel to the source of the event to stop it.
He and his companions knew very well that it was something beyond them.
Galan traveled there in order to see the final moment of the universe, any scientist would do the same to see an unique event in the final moments of his life.
That stupid cloud doesnt count, shoulda been the Galactus swarm from Ultimate FF
Please don't make him a cloud again
2019 anyone, who is finally happy that Galactus may be introduced in the MCU anytime soon?? 🙂💯👍🏾
Galactus isn't good or bad he's just a being of balance to keep the celestials in check
Looks like a powerful guy.
Broly would still beat him though.
Since Galactus eats entire planets I don't think that would be the case.
Gumo Vitya
yeah Broly destroys them with one tiny beam..
oh for fuck sake
analothor Broly casually spams galaxy busters and kills him
eiffelTowerMan yeah no, broly stands no chance
Big bang atom was a singularity
everyone in this comment section is retarded.
Cal Clove ur in this comment section
Wait. Where is Galactus in that movie? I saw the Silver Surfer and a cloud of smoke. Was he that cloud of smoke?
LOLLL yes he was .... how pathetic is that .... still trying to forget that dumbass movie
Walder Hodor
Forget that dumbass movie?
There was no movie called Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. Anyone who says differently is a filthy liar and should be banished to the desert of no return.
I'm really enjoying these vids. Keep it up.
So Galactuc will be the real final boss of the Avengers after Thanos?
Yup. Thanos is just a warm up. Sadly galactus may not happen till marvel gets all its movie rights back from fox. Getting spiderman from Sony for civil war was a good start tho.
Leimiful Galactus is in the infinity war
***** I know he is, I'm talking about the movieverse... hence the mention of Sony. Anyways, where is Galactus confirmed for the infinity war movie? Fox has the rights for Galactus because of Fantastic Four. So yea, like I said no Galactus till Marvel gets their rights back.
Lol you think thanos is a warm up for the avengers? Thanos is one of the most powerful villains ever with the IG, which he will use in the new avengers movie
ManUnited123 *with* being the key word
Here after endgame, but before he's the next big villain
I wonder who would win in a fight (DC vs Marvel) Trigon vs Galactus
I'd put money on Galactus
Xerock
IDK their both both giant and powerful BUT only Raven can stop Trigon so I would probably go with Trigon
I bet Galactus because he is most powerful than Trigon. He devoured other planets with his cosmic powers.
Dc all the way
who the hell is trigon ?
Galactus vs Thanos vs Apocolypse Royal Rumble!
galactus is my favorite marvel character just wish there was more games were you can play as him besides Lego marvel superheroes
Oh i love these videos, ive never gotten such a concise explanation for his existence.
He is so big that he dosent even fit in the thumbnail
LOL IKR
Yoooo The Fortnite Guy😱😱😱😱😱😱
@Nahitak Yea Lmao
I'm not talking about how often they appear just how powerful they are compared to Galactus.
pshsh. One name.
Beyonder.
I think that the strongest beings on the Marvel Universe are
1 - One Above All
2 - the Beyonder
3 - Living Tribunal
4 - Galactus
I'm not 100% sure, so correct me if I'm wrong
Well I know #3 is actually second strongest.
The title is misleading. Galactus is not a supervillin, he's a force of nature.
There's still so much to make movies on...its awesome.
Is Galactus's robot suit made of metal? If yes ,Magneto= boss
loooooooooooooooool nice one bro :v , magneto would fuck him up
Magneto has tried. He even amplified his power by forcing the magnetic aliment of planets. Galactus and his overwhelming power of cosmic did not care.
Sorry I cant be more helpful.
oh thanks Alex i just had that doubt
When Galactus appeared in Fantastic 4 2 he was a fucking cloud and a joke
After : End Game 😉✌️👍
He has pretty damn good origin story. A lot more complex than being bitten by a spider or getting heavy doses of radiation.
He was written at a later time. Also Spider Man's origin getting complex.
Stan and Jack at the peak!!! Even though Jack was not happy with Stan`s origin of the surfer, it just doesn`t get any better!!!
He was not onscreen in rise of the silver surfer that was a black hole cloud thingy that was not him
That was him, but they just made him a space cloud and not appearing like the character himself.
+Kari Beifong I know but he was so far off it was pretty much a different character
Xpler779 the cloud was just a piece of shit the real galactus is a planet devoring monster that almost no can defeat
Galctus isn't a villain. Get your facts right.
But galactus isnt a supervillain..
He's my father
Fernando Valles he's a super antagonist..
CoOLIXeR 322 I don't want to talk about it
My cousin and I are always bringing up "Rise of The Silver Surfer" when we get together. We just yell at each other: "HE FLEW INTO A CLOUD!!!"
10 years :,(
We getting old
Who else is jonesing for the Anti-Monitor?
Anyone Here After Avengers Endgame???
Yep
galactus and thanos should team up. ultimate super villian team
galactus isn't technically a villain
GameGuy01 i see him as a villian. he destroys plantes for his own gain.
+rubikfan1 actually he eats planets to sustain himself. if he didn't keep eating he would die. and he himself stated "I will give back as much as I take from the universe
GameGuy01 but what has he done to get rid of its problem?
+rubikfan1 He tried Jenny Craig but it didn't work.
And now the ultimate question arises; who came first? Unicron or Galactus?
It was he who then discovered earth…
At this time, a visiting Watcher recognized the imminent danger, and decided to intervene by forming a barrier around the planet.
While the Thing destroyed the world-consuming device, the Watcher transported The Human Torch to Taa II to retrieve a powerful weapon called “The Ultimate Nullifier.”
With the Fantastic Four threatening to use the Nullifier to destroy Galactus, he was forced to promise not to harm their world in exchange for the weapon’s return.
He continues to appear in countless media, and marked his live action debut in 2007’s “Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer.”

i wonder now dragonball Universe expanded to 12 universes soo what if Beerus , Glacutus ,champa, Darksied and thanos meets and have cup of coffie I sound so stupid lol
it IS stupid.
I love it.
Hardhir Bajwa it'd make for funny dialogue, seeing as they're all multiversal.
Hardhir Bajwa And then Beerus threatens to murder them all after Galactus ate his pudding.
wait his name is GAYLEN HAHAHAHA
lol the marvel power scaling is so full of shit.
thanos with the infinity gauntlet actually still fights people. if he is so god like why can't he just kill them with a blink of his eye?
same with galactus.
not to mention these so called "god like" people do get beaten some other heros in the marvel universe.
ok so wtf is with the reality warping shit? if someone can reality warp then wouldn't they be like the strongest? as far i know the celestials can reality warp but yet they are not the strongest.
so basically lets say both the celestials and galatus are god like so if they were to fight then the first one to wish the other out of existence wins?
even then, they still actually "fight" with marvel heros. i believe celestials have fought with odin and the other gods before? if they truly were what their abilities say they are then why do they have to attack? they can just win with a blink of an eye.(they do have attacks so that means they really need to attack to win they can't just blink an eye)
and lets say somebody already has control over everything like for example thanos with the infinity gaunlet how exactly is there somebody stronger than him?
i mean he has control of everything................
marvel is so full of shit lol.
Yes and superman is not bullshit
You don't know much about D.C. comics do you?
PLENTY of ridiculously powered "godlike" beings there .
1) The Spectre
2) The Anti-monitor (He eats freaking universes).
3) Mr Mxyzptlk (D.C. has said he can literally change the laws of logic itself, and he's not even top dog)
4) Elaine Belloc
5) Michael Demiurgos
6) Nekron
7) Kismet
8) The Endless (7 different characters )
9) Eclipso
10) Superman Prime One Million (a version of Superman that can destroy entire galaxies and warp reality )
I could go on.
Aqua Fag lol Doomsday? The list of overpowered D.C. characters I gave includes characters that would even take out Galactus.
Onieracraft
To be fair, what the dude said earlier about Marvel can be used agaisnt DC as well, as a matter of fact, any comic book for this matter is a fucking mess, they have a shit load of stories being made at the same time by different writers, years of stories and a shit load of characters, theres no way it could not be a mess, they even try to solve the problems that all of this bring by making those crises and shit but its impossible, the fact is that any comic book company make a mess and is full of bullshit, even Star Wars comic book sucked, to the point where there are comics where Boba Fett defeat Darth Vader in a fist combat... no jokes, and it was not even the first time that Bobba Fett defeated Darth mothafucking Vader...
That's cool. Your replies and imagination are extremely miniscule to me as well :)
Awesome thanks 😊👍 amazing and beautiful American sci Fi movie 🍿🎥
Thanos (infinity gaunet) + Darkseid + Apocalypse + Doomsday + Galactus + Vulcan + Onslaught + every other supervillain in dc and marvel. Give Batman a few days and he'll be ready
😱Batman😱!! U r not serious🤔!!!
Yeah, I suppose Batman would be a bit op. Superman could take his place just so the villains have a chance.
+Jack Houlihan no JL can take down those villains except Darkseid cz i don't know his full potential. Batman is off the table....
Guled Abdo Batman is the table
+Jack Houlihan pls bro, not again with that dude! He is a stupid human who thinks that he is capable of such thing, sure when he is fighting the likes of Joker etc, but Darkseid!?? All i can think of is to laugh at him and those who make him fight them.
GALACTUS
Pple make this guy like he's one of the OP charecters in Marvel universe😇, well guess what he ain't❌.... I can name 10 mutants not just comics but mutants that r way powerful than this dude😊😊.
Pheoneix, Apocalypse, who else?
+Jesus Ramirez Romo no not Apocalypse, but Matthew Malloy, Scarlet Witch, Franklin Richards, MJJ, Legion, Onslaught, Hope Summers, Selene. Nate Grey, Vulcan and Iceman r OP as well but i don't think they can take down Galactus but IMO they can give him a good fight.
+BigJoe6669 🤔🤔🤔🤔
Kids: YAY
Father galactus: Try one
Kids: ok
Kids: Mmm what is that cream in the middle
Father galactus: Oh that’s the core of some of the planets
Rumor has it that Galactus may appear as a major antagonist in Avengers: Endgame.
Doctor Who can take him!
No. That little Sonic Screwdriver would do NOTHING!
Klaytonamor Lutheraen The Sonic Screwdriver is just to take readings and open doors, the Doctor could have easily destroyed him.
I Don't Like Galactus In The Movies
there was no big bang!!
Science says otherwise , just so you know
no it doesn't the big bang has already been disproven
It has never been proven not a theory only hypothosis
exactly big bang is not a theory it has never been proven scientifically only a hypotheses.
So it has no truth value yet.
Robert Klein wait a minute when was it disproven and all the facts we know about the unvirse support the big bang like dark matter for an example
I just wanna hear those two words at the end of Endgame - "I HUNGER!!!"
These videos are soooooooooooooo
Awesome
"Rise of the Silver Surfer" is proof enough that we don't need anymore fucked up FOX produced Fantastic Four movies!!! #ThanksButNoThanks
Phoenix force is more powerful than galactus
No its not scarlett witch could defeat pheonix force
+Gaming Tier Wow Scarlett witch.
OK I pick multiversial Eternity lol
Crimson Head98
You do know that galactus could bend reality
no she can't .....the actually force itself is immortal and the guardian of creation
I can imagine Galactus being one of the dudes saying 'I told u so', then the other dudes turned into Infinity Stones
Galactus: This isn't even my final form?
all this "gods" are nothing compare to gogeta ssj4! oh wait... even frieza would smash this fool to pieces!
Dragon ball series was fun when we were younger. the writers on the show were crap and made humans weak and worthless. the powers the characters displayed were way over the top. i hate it when people do the whole vs. thing with Marvel and DBZ.
MrFIRESEAL117
so? younger? Dragonball is nr.1 of ALL comics/animes and WTF about younger? a real fan love that until he dies!
lol gtfo here. I am a dbz fan and no dbz char can fuck with marvel or dc top tiers. Galactus would solo dbz/dbgt easy.
*****
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA even ghost rider smashed him u cant compare DBZ/GT power with this marvel bullshit!
only man of steel can defeat galactus
ha nice joke
usman ismail LOL
Gerald Snowman Galactus is 100×stronger than superman
Not only Stronger, but way, way way more versatiles, and is a Force of Nature, he is a Billions of Years Old Cosmic Entity (He was there before the Big Bang), He is a Balence within the Marvel Universe, a balence between Death and Lifes, he can bring Death when there is too many lifes among the Cosmos, and bring Lifes when there is too many Deaths, among the Cosmos.
Lady Death take care about the Death Domain
Eternity/Infinty take care about the Creation of Life/Time
The 3 of them are the Equillibrium in the Marvel Universe.
Zhest 16.16.12 Keep going with the facts I have time
Galactus is my least favorie fighter...
I would like tom & jerry more than this crap -_-
He can still destroy any hero or villain that exits
Jack Hagar no
I'm so glad to learn that they used the version of Galactus voiced by Tony Jay; he could pull off sinister and omnipotent (all-powerful) with little effort.
Galactus is either a hero or a villain in the marvel comics universe and I think he was so much different than any other marvel comics character in the comics book industry or something like that and he was part of the marvel comics universe for a long time since was introduced in the 60s
Dude, spiderman would wreck Galactus.
Nope
Hell no, but superman would
*****
Not really superman would become dinner for Galactus.
*****
Lol sowy I think I was sleepy XD
yeah, yeah sure he would smh
Am I the only one that would like to see a battle between these five:
Doomsday vs Darkseid vs Thanos vs Galactus vs Apocalypse.
the battle would take place on the earth.
No your not the only one
What about all of them vs Deadpool. BOOMMMMM.
Galactus would win 10 times out of 10, there's no chance of ther other's even standing a chance. He's on the scale of Marvel's Death.
with these guys fighting there would be no earth
The Enginseer
Deadpool? Deadpool would have problems with Spiderman lol.
Galactus is not a villain! He does what he does to SURVIVE!
Galactus being rivaled by any planet's inhabitants is broken logic.
