Thank you you for showing this. I got my serger second hand. Finally figured out the last time it was serviced, they messed up the timing. Well, long story but it started with the needle bar and clamp and slowly but surely figured out it was off on timing for the upper and lower looper. As well as one of the tension discs. Ugh, this has been along road. Your video made it much more clearer to understand. Thank you so very much.
Thanks for a great video, Abi. It helped me fix jammed loopers on my Janome 234D! I did not know the position they needed to be in and your detailed visuals showed me exactly how they should work.
Hi Abi! Not tried the timing as yet but definitely will be, I asked for a quote just to check thinking it’s would be around £50, nope it’s £80!! I will be having a try at repairing my own machines lol
Hi Abi, I have this Janome and I am struggling to take the casing off. All visual areas and bottom plate removed... No hint of release on either side of the case. I am scared to put force or pull to hard.... Checked all your videos and couldn't find a step by step stripping of this overlocker. I am stuck😊😊😊
Hello Abi, my left and right loop needle touch each other. how do I fix this problem? if I move them apart, then the right looper needle touch the 2 top needle.
I don’t go onto Facebook but you could ring the manufacturer and ask for their advice, legally now companies have to honour your right to repair so they should provide you with support.
@@laurencoles5650 hi! I had to take the bottom off and get a wrench where the one side is a “circle” and the other is a “claw”. I used the second smallest size. I’ll get the proper info when I dig the tools back out! I came in at that nut from the front of the machine but needed the bottom off to angle it in there.
I tried fixing the timing of my serger and made it worse. I had to take it in for repair as a result. I don't recommend doing this, based on my personal experience. It just made it worse.
I suppose it’s like anything. Following instructions for a recipe or learning to drive a car. If you have the confidence to do it, then go for it, if not, get someone else to do it.

Hi Abi. I'll still bring my machine to you as and and when. Love the new kitty. how old is she---- he. 😘👍
It’ll be a pleasure to help. Bee? She is only just 12 weeks old. So still very little and very energetic
I want to know how you can use a sewing machine with a kitten around, my kitten won't let me see cause she wants to play with all the moving parts.
Hi! My 134d has a bar in the way of the timing nut! I can’t get to it properly.
I messaged you on Facebook.

How do I fix the upper looper timing? my upper looper is not in the right position, and hits the needles
Is it this machine you’re using?
@@AbisDen It's a mylock 204D, is really similar

The stitch not coming through right place I not good at describing this to you
I'm not understanding the problem. I don't have a tutorial for a Husqavarna
