I struggle with my serger tensions. This is so helpful for trouble shooting. I have been setting all the tensions at the same time and getting not so good results. I like the chart for reference. Thank you for your time and knowledge.
@@AbisDen it is new and I didn’t realise that the presser foot pressure was too high. I didn’t even realise it had numbers so when I loosened it off the threads worked fine. Many thanks for all of your material. It is super helpful.
I moved to a sturdier table, and added a thin non-slip mat under the serger. I had some spare EVA foam on hand - just 2-3 mm thick, leftover as underlayment for vinyl flooring.

Hi thank you for the video. When would you have to adjust the stitch length and the knife cutter? I've got my stitch length at 3 and knife on 5.
Great video. Thanks Abi, So really helpful.😘👍
Great tutorial and I’m definitely going to make tension tables 👍
How do you know if knife setting is too high or low on over locker? Also did you use 2 jersey / ballpoint needles for this knit fabric? Tjanks

@@AbisDen thank you my lovely x
Have fun with it.
Hi Abi, could you please do a tutorial like this for the 4 way stretch spandex ?
Hi Abi, that was so interesting! My problem is that there is no stretch in my seams, you can feel the threads pulling within the seam. Any ideas?
Fantastic tutorial Abi, thanks so much. (And you forgot to put the link to the website for your new app like you said you would!)
There now x thank you !!!
Hi I have got baby lock something gone wrong not moving the material and breaking the needle and doesn't gives proper stitch ,please help me
Is your presser foot down? If it's up the fabric won't feed.
Abi when you stitch you don’t have to pull the treads out the back. Mine stick and bunch up on the stitch finger. Fix?
The needle plate fork could be bent out of shape.

Thank you for letting us know what worked for you. It’ll help others for sure.
The lower looper thread keeps jumping out and I’m repeatedly rethreading? Tensions are all at 4 as machine less than a year old. Any ideas?
Abi my overlocker “walks” on the table when i’m in full speed what can i do to avoid that ?
