I really understand what mheshimiwa kuria is saying, am one of the traders who suffered for a whole year. My textile was held at the port for a year and a half. I have never recovered todate since it was a loan.We were punished since we were the weaker link😭😭
Kuria has become so enlightened since coming from dubai. Everything he is saying is on point. The hosts seem to be stuck in old school ways and a defeatist mentality
Fortunatly we shoukd thank God for your recovery but again a good lesson you got...i remember at one point you shouting in parliament that the copy rigjts should not be stopped from gettin in the country...so for lesser fortunate could have suffered but since imekugusa weww atleast sasa jua wat is good for u is for me too
That huduma number segment, MK has hit it out of the park. Cry for privacy is more of a red herring in my opinion. What info did we give the government in the huduma number process that they don't have access to? The overreach from the judiciary has gone out of hand.
Hon kuria did you exceed the time expected to heat the feet trying to think and just asking coz the equipment is not like cooking oil that just pour our fron a cooking pan kuliza si ujinga just asking
Uhuru´s botched government cannot and will not guarantee stability and rationality in Kenya. His manner of improvising every morning that he wakes up leaves the country political scarring, loss of credibility of the electoral system and atmosphere of feuding, recrimination and not talking of corruption. The contorted manoeuvring of political parties will lead to the worst outcome seen in the history of Kenyan politics Urgent matters require government attention. The economic and social conditions of the country as it exits the pandemic necessitate a steady hand. The question is; can these challenges be met by Raila and his Azimio? The answer is NO; since its the very same Raila and his ODM party that gave such a dismal performance providing essential support to the Uhuru´s government. First, the pandemic retreat may be in sight, but careful management is still needed. Phasing out of the emergency measures has to be planned and implemented, both in the economic and health sector. Ruto´s government must commit, to overhaul the public budget, reduce unsustainable debts, reduce taxes, eliminate waste and increase productive investment. All this must coexist with a credible public debt reduction plan. Third, trial procedures must be overhauled to increase efficiency and speed. This is a key reform in a country that has by far the longest trial duration in the World. The parliament has authorised the government to act by decree, and Uhuru has failed to safeguard the Constitution and fell short of leadership and integrity. New regulations must now be introduced linking retirement to life expectancy, with penalties for early retirement to ensure financial sustainability.
Kenyan don’t need huduma no. How do people operate MPESA and they don’t have huduma no. What is the secret behind it Kuria should explain better. People have woken up. Everyone one has an ID No which has worked for a long time. Is it not a no. Like any other.
@Yunes Ken - 🇰🇪Very True. Huduma NUMBER is Very Important and needed especially in KENYA where ALSHABAB are ALL Over trying EVERYTHING in Order to Kill INNOCENT Wananchi of KENYA. That Invation of Privacy is Nonsense.❌
Kuria is so right. Just like crypto. No one knows where it will lead but govts know that as cypto materializes they start seeing the benefits and negatives and then come up with laws that will deal with the negatives and retain the positives. just like any other new technology let it start and we see what the negatives and benefits are and put safeguards as needed. You see alot of Kenyans who never lived abroad once they live there their mindset changes and say why can't we do this in Kenya to make life easier. So Kuria is so right its a mindset we have hear in Kenya that is not progressive but filled with fear of the unknown but will never get to experience the benefits for fear of trying. Thats why America is always ahead of technology because they try new things that work. You tube, tesla, google and many other companies that the glob can not live without.
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is calling on highly trained Kenyans among them doctors and scientists to get its 10-year visa to support the development of its economy. Why are w exporting specialist doctors and nurses to Dubai, and then turn around and import specialists from Cuba and pay them handsomely. This brain drain of exporting our best and brightest must stop. Those who came up with this decision are people who know they can fly out of the country for specialized treatment paid for by our taxes while 50m Kenyans wallow in suffering. I thought the idea of Healthcare big four is not just to make sure that everyone has an NHIF insurance card but that insurance card means something when you go to hospital to get treatment of whatever kind. Just having an insurance card does not mean anything if you can not get the treatment you require. We need more doctors and nurses as some hospitals infact many do not have any doctors or adequate nurses yet we are acting like a highly developed country whereby we have reached full capacity of patient to doctor coverage. You can never have enough doctors as the population grows the more doctors and nurses we need. We need to start respecting our doctors by treating them like the professionals they are and pay them better. An Mp gets paid more than a doctor who saves lives. An MCA gets paid more than a doctor who only work a few days every year because all they do is debate on the budget allocations and thats it. Infact MCAs should not get paid only when they sit like many developed countries do.
If one person is destroyed economically you have also destroyed his dependants and it come full cycle to hurt the people and economy of the country. Everything we do has consequences and impact on everything. It opens up a pandora box.
We need some serious journalist(s) who can interrogate Kuria on this alleged accident. I don't buy this narrative that alichomeka miguu (peke yake) as it is.

I love this conversation!
Kuria is right. The minute you visit other countries and see how their system operate you’ll understand why kenya we’re a joke.
Thankyou mk for exposing the pettiness with some of rulings by our judiciary

Do your investigations right. My family is a beneficiary of NHIF and proper medication here in Kenya. Alhamdulillah
