Over the years, several individuals - whose input in their own fields of expertise I really admire and respect - have alluded to Moses Kuria being a very smart individual. I am now seeing this different aspect of Moses Kuria. He really needs a good PR person and also a Coach on how to engage different target audiences. Otherwise this was a very interesting interview.
"A dog that lives on the bank of a brook never tires of lapping the water" This proverb serves as a powerful metaphor for the resilience and perseverance needed to address the systemic challenges discussed in the interview. It reminds us that just as the dog continuously draws from the brook, we, as a community, must persistently draw upon our resources, wisdom, and collective efforts to uplift our nation. The narrative isn't just about identifying problems but actively engaging in solutions that foster sustainable development and empowerment.

This guy, His Excellency Moses Kuria, has always nailed it and tells it as it is. We need to change the 10 million people status. I am going to change that
What Moses Kuria is saying about using an ensemble of approaches to combat alcoholism, with particular focus on the "softer" methods, is applicable to the Haiti situation. Our mission there is just the latest in a long string of attempts at using force, none of which has had any long term results to speak of.
I don't agree with Moses Kuria on many fronts but on this one I think he makes some sense. People have to be persuaded to see the negative aspects of engaging in alcoholism. You cannot legalise alcohol and at the same time ban the "illicit" (read more affordable) alcohol.
Imagine we had a prezzie, who did the same but it’s a sickness ppl take it lightly but these ppl really struggle almost all their lives.Imagine with a hangover on camera ,you have to have guts.
Anyone who is a friend to a guy who has whichever characteristic pattern will partake in the character!I mean, birds of the same feathers flock together!
...And this is what inevitably leads to the decline of any society. When we overlook merit as a crucial anchor for productivity and progress, we risk losing talented individuals who would otherwise contribute to our nation's success. In Kenya, we often reference Singapore without acknowledging that they prioritized meritocracy to achieve their current status. Unfortunately, we've strayed from this path, and it's evident in the challenges we face.
20:40 - hapo kwa Cain and Abel umekosa Mheshimiwa. The issue with Cain is that he did not offer the best of what he had while Abel did. The story that you talked about was about Ham not Cain.
Italy Just announced they are looking for labor to help in their construction and this is going to spread the entire europe as the populations age and decrease and younger folk looking for less labor intensive jobs and more into computer related or white collar jobs. They are looking to import labor due to not having enough locals or italians to do the job as the population ages and many younger Italians persuing white color jobs or preferring not to do blue collar jobs which are physically demanding. So this is where Kenya can fill that space. All those working in housing construction gain a skill. They need to be offered a certificate for whatever they were doing it could be brick laying, plastering, flooring, plumbing, electrical etc. Then they can be inducted into NYS for further training and discipline. Then if any county needs a well disciplined construction skilled force they can tap from the NYS. This should be a continuos pool of labor. This does not just apply in housing but any infrastructure project be it roads , Rail, ports, stadiums ,bridges or any other other construction. The workers get issued a certificate after finishing the project and then inducted into NYS for further training and countries needing skilled labor can pull from this group.
Should be riggy g number 1 project on eradicating alcoholism in central. Ironically he is talking about alcohol and freedom when last year he said atakojoa kwa president uk it’s that freedom that protected him
