They should make minifigure packs for all of the different monsters and villains throughout the shows
Velma's alternate face should've not had glasses, so we could reenact when she loses them. "I can't find my glasses!"
TheDudeWhoCommented Hahahahahah 😂😂😂
Or an extra head with scared face without glasses
I have the set and I watched the reruns of the classic and original Scooby Doo episodes on Saturday mornings. So I love having one of the mansion from the show!
I absolutely love it!
12:14 Black Knight?......
"It's just a flesh wound."
Couldn't think of anything else to say
Lol!
They should've made a face print of Velma without her glasses, blindly groping for them.
My glasses!I can't see a thing without my glasses!
"You can take it as a clue, or just as a piece you need to find to solve the over all mystery."
that's still a clue Jang
Was what I was thinking.
That carnivorous plant makes me wanna see a giant Audrey 2 Lego set.
***** Yeah, I know. Wouldn't it be awesome?
I would've gotten away with it too if it wasn't for you meddling kids and your Lego dog too
I've never been a big Scooby doo fan, but I do appreciate the work and effort that the designers put into this set. I especially love the clock function; really unique. Great review, jang!!!
I loved the monsters line so this set is perfect for that.
The original episodes from season 1 still airs to this day
a black cat sitting on the porch rail would have made this set complete.
I'm more impressed with this set after watching the review than I was when I saw it in the store. I don't remember the old buildings in Scooby-Doo being so colorful and Halloweeny, but I guess it's more interesting to look at and play with this way.
around the time i got it it was halloween minifigure series so i added some minifigures such as the grey ghost and the female vampire
3:49 I love plants too! I especially like certain kinds of plants when I build Lego sets.
I love these Scooby Doo sets, I'm going to definitely buy them for the kids....oh who am i kiddin', for me too. Great nostalgia and the mini fig representation of the characters are spot on. Looking forward to all your reviews in these Mr Jang!!
Thanks for reviewing this! This really does look great!
I'm so excited for his Lego set! So going to buy it!😆
Jang's Lego reviews make the sets come to life!
The Scooby Doo line is basically in the style of LEGO Monster Fighters; but with psychedelic colours, love it!
Im crazy about this set
Love the set. Thanks for reviewing it 👍🏽
I loved Scooby doo as a kid! (even though now I'm just 18 and I saw this and said 'childhood') my dad had the original series on dvd and we watched it all the time and cartoon network ran reruns of the original all the time when I was younger. Great set, and (as always) great review Jang :) I look forward to the series and plan to try and get it :D
12:40
Hearing those names bring back so much memories
Amazing line of LEGO sets, really brings back some childhood memories. :)
5:58 im guessing Fred must've put that trap there haha that's a nice touch
This is what all the old houses in Seattle look like to me. Thank you Schooby Doo!
Jangbricks thank you for doing scooby-doo review I love your videos. It's like they have everything Lego i been waiting for this to come out so thank you.
Scooby-Doo is the Lego series I was waiting for the most this year, more than Jurassic World or Star Wars 7. It's beautiful, especially the minifigs and their so nice hair pieces! Thanks for showing us all of these details.
I'll get this because of the figures. Nice review as always.
Love your vids
Keep up the good work
Have this and the mystery machine lots of cool pieces and i love them
Love the music swell
hey Jang, thanks for a great review, what a lovely set, we just got these in store today, so happy they are here,
I grew up with the original series, so this old-style look is very welcomed by myself. I remember all of the villains featured in the sets, although I wish they included the Miner 49er and Space Kook in their own sets. In spite of that, I think that I could make my own with parts that have been released previously. All in all, this is one of my favourite themes from Lego. Now all we need is a classic 1980s A-TEAM theme!
Wow!! Thanks Jangbricks....now I want this set! :S
I love that this is mixed with different episodes I hope they have the creeper and miner 49er in wave 2
I am so buying this. This is just a amazing set and being from season 1 of Scooby Doo it really makes it worth it! I love Scooby doo and this is just right down my ally!
Excellent, i love this scooby doo lego set!! will have to get it, thanks for doing a review :)
Nice vid really happy that you did a review on this you're my favourite youtuber
As someone who likes gardens and gardening,I love that little greenhouse. This set would not normally be my thing but I have to agree thats its been done pretty nicely. :)
My favorite part of the set as well!
The Lazy Chicken Its cute, isn't it. Its given me ideas to do an English garden type scene somewhere in my (little) city!
DAMN THE ORIGINAL!!!!!!! THIS IS AMAZING!!!!!
cool review and set. makes me wish they would do a scooby doo and the ghoul school set.
I remember the episode this set was in so many memories
Love this set ^^
I like the music.
Hey Jang. Love your videos. And especially love the fact that you're reviewing the Scooby-Doo sets. Two of my favorite things combined, LEGO and Scooby-Doo.
I just found this sealed at a shop and had to get it for my yearly retired set build to go with the 50th anniversary of scooby doo where are you. Can not wait to build itvon the 13th of September.
Seems nice.
As always a nice video Jang. I like this set. Just wished there was a bit moro about unmasking the badguys but that's where imagination has to fill in. You can easilly add elements to this set from the Monster Hunters theme.
Love it
When I was a kid, me and my friends would dress up as the whole gang. My dog was Scooby Doo. We would go around looking for clues and mysteries to solve...good times... :-)
Oh... so excited! I keep checking the LEGO site to see if they are up for pre-order. Its killing me... I must have them all now!! :D
Pretty cool
This is a great set, but man it's pricey. That's to be expected, but I'm sad that this is the only set that Velma comes in, which means the most effective way to get the whole gang is to buy this and the Mystery Machine set for Fred and the car. Hopefully this series does well enough to warrant a 2nd wave with better character allocation so we don't have to break the bank for the whole gang XD.
Woohoo! Finally!
Jang you definitely need to do a review on the advanced warfare sets coming out. And good job
Nice! I'm slapping myself for not picking this one up while at Comic-Con. I did manage to get the Mysyery Machine though. Will have to wait till Aug 1 now.
This set reminds me of Lord Vampyre castle from the Monster fighers theme.
Jangbricks, my compliments on an excellent series of videos; informative and entertaining in equal measure. There was a wealth of fascinating detail in this one: I didn't realise, for instance, that the real, i.e. human faces of the three baddies were visible beneath their costumes. Just one question: how long did it take you to assemble this large and complex kit?
i wish maybe they could of had a printed tile piece to represent scooby snacks, that would of been awesome!
My parents just bought this set, the lighthouse and the mystery machine for me in the Lego Store Frankfurt. I'm going to make this into a modular building like the haunted house from monster fighters. :)
As a fan of the Monster Fighters series of Lego, (I have all of the sets except the non essential ones like Haunted House and the Zombie Graveyard.) I probably will just get this set for the build itself and the Vampire mini figure.
Nice video!
dat plant, little shop of horrors moc
I love this set, and I was a fan of Scooby the first time around! Our house is too tiny for me to collect all the sets I love, though. Maybe I should build an extension to my house out of Legos so that I'll have room for a Lego city! :)
the larger they are the more play features you get and the more fun you you have playing with it
U make the beast videos ever! :D
when i was building this set my only problem was the stickers otherwise a fun build
I just ordered this from the Lego store. I hope it's a good set. I loved the show as a kid.
+Ulve /Withered Bonnie Halldorsson A lot of people grey up watching Scooby Doo is why it's so popular. The shows were old when I was a kid but I still watched the reruns.
Love the music in the background, what is it called?
music
Brick Blazer Can you maybe be more accurate?
i was kidding idk
I think they will use the spiked ball piece in Nexo Knights
Oh and my favorite lego set series is lego star wars but the sets 1999-2007
That Giant Plant Reminds Me Of The Little Shop Of Horrors
hey jang i have a choice between the lighthouse or this haunted house which one do you think is better because i like both
The lower cape of the Vampire was put on backwards.
Oh the memories
Ive seen the original Scooby Doo episodes, my Mom liked them when she was a kid.
WANT IT
Anyone here missed out on the original Monster Fighters vampire castle? Scooby series looks like a licensed version lf the MF series.. wonder if they are going to have a direct to consumer set like Haunted House..
I missed out on the Vampyre Castle but I got the Haunted House, hopefully they make another one
The Lazy Chicken HH is one of the best sets LEGO made imo. Sand green is one of the best colours LEGO produced too!
would go great with the Monster Fighters sets
Mystery machine is the best.
AWESOME:)
cool set but I feel you would need two of this set to really make it shine
wish i had this 😭
You didn't put a jack'o'lantern over one of the heads!
I really wanted to see that.
Really great review tho. Thanks
Will the sitting Scooby Doo from the other sets fit on the motorcycle?
I have watched all the Scooby Doo movies :D, Nice review
john bacon its not based off of movies its the season 1 Scooby Doo
Imagine if Scooby doo was real :D
They should've used the older grill type knight helmet for the Black Knight
i hope there is a second wave of scooby doo sets that has villans like the spooky space kook and the creeper, what do you guys think
I want that! 😀
Cool
AMAZING set! I agree it'd be better if it had more space inside the building to pose all those figures, and I, sincerely, think we did not need that many villains, but I am grateful for them anyway.
My girlfriend is a die-hard fan of ScoobyDoo, I think these sets will be the ones to hook her up on Lego, then maybe, just maybe, she won't think it is that weird for me to have toys decorating my room (I have some Lego City and Mixels sets, but other stuff too).
Also, that carnivorous plant looks like a mini Mixel, in my opinion. Add some slimy pieces to it and it'd fit right with the Glorp Corp!
KonradosHut How is she not already hooked on Lego? I find it extremely weird when someone doesn't have at least fond memories of Lego, if not active interest. If they never played with Lego as a kid, I pity them, and try to get them hooked on Lego in the present.
Jeddostotle7 When she was a kid she always wanted Lego, but her family was very poor, and they didn't have money to buy her Lego (here in Brazil it costs double what it does in the US). And now that she's grown up, she sees them as kids toys (what they are). She got used to me having them, but she doesn't fully understand why I always want more and why I love to take them apart and build them up time and time again. At least she doesn't think any less of me for it. =D
KonradosHut Oh, you're from Brazil. Yeah, I heard that a lot of different toy brands (and video game consoles, and other things) are massively more expensive over there.
As I tried to imply, if someone is poor, I can totally understand, and take pity on them, and try to get them hooked in the present.
Also, while Lego definitely is a kid's toy, I feel it's also an adult toy, a toy for every age, even if the people playing with it are just grown-up kids ;).
Jeddostotle7 I think that too! And that is why I have my sets. I just love Lego. My only gripe (and I will forever have it, as far as my experience with lego goes) is that there are pieces that are simply too fragile. My Mixels all have broken pieces from me taking them apart and putting them back together. D:
KonradosHut I've never had that problem, but then again, I generally don't take apart my sets after I've built them unless I'm customizing them to make them superior to how they were before (more functional, more accurate to the source material if they're licensed, etc.).
What do you use to get the minifigures to rotate?
Hey Jang. Is the cape on the vampire one piece that is red on one side and black on the other. Or is it 2 capes stacked on each other.
***** Red on one side, black on the other.
Darn I was hoping it was 2 capes so I could use the black cape. Seeing as its in the newer softer cape style.
Ah jang what's the music in the background
i have watched some episodes of the original!
The side car is almost the exact same build from the old Indiana jones set
that's a confused face for shaggy
make a James break remix on a disc set please
lucky u jang you have that set
