Yes, when i got to know about Priyanka being a parent i immediately felt happy for her. no second thought pop up in my mind like why she's not carrying her baby on her own, or about her figure. its her Choice. and big fact that she's a 30+ woman so fertility might be an issue for her. Idk how at this age and time people don't accept adoption and surrogacy. Just because NORMALLY we see that parents have no problems conceiving their kids that doesn't mean that no one has a problem. Like I personally feel surrogacy is a great option these days and people have to accept that not everything happens to everyone in a NORMAL so called socially prescribed way. I think the reason why Kangana attacked Alia is not because of her choice to portray a character like gangubai but because of the fact that Alia actively reposts kids/women/anyone who recreates gangubai scenes in their reels on her stories. A lot of these reposts are kids' reels which might encourage a lot of young girls to post these reels to get attention from Alia

I am a medical student and honestly the more I read about pregnancy the more I get scared. But being mother is not about pregnancy it's about love and sacrifices a mother makes to take care of her child. And people who are BSing about that you can't feel like a mother unless you get pregnant please stop even after giving birth to a baby the mother sometimes feel that it's not her baby and it a serious medical condition. There is no need to give a benefit of doubt to men at all. If they don't know,then they should keep their mouth shut. Priyanka Chopra said in koffee with Karan in last to last season when she came alone that she has given up coffee.... And usually when women are advised to give up coffee, it's because they are trying for a baby. Maybe Priyanka couldn't concieve naturally after a lot of trying so they went for surrogacy. Surrogacy is almost 20 years old may be more than that. A neighbor's son was born through surrogacy in year 2k1. Because his mom has lot of medical problems. It was a matter of utter shock and surprise for all of us (I was too young to understand but for our society) lot of rumors were made. Uneducated grannies labeled it as adoption, some ppl said it is illegal child of father and so on. But educated ppl know what the reality was and in fact the couple proudly told everyone about surrogacy.

The point you put forward about Priyanka is very valid but she could go for surrogacy because she is at that position where she can make her own choices about this process and I am happy for her. But still there are people in our indian society who will not let women opt for surrogacy. There is a lot of social stigma around it, even in educated families, women have to go through the natural process of pregnancy whether they like it or not☹️ and act happy even if they have tokophobia!!!

I realised that I also have that phobia. I couldn't even watch pregnant bellies, it makes me feel sick... I often felt guilty of feeling this way because people made me feel bad about it (my parents) and seeing women proudly have a photoshoot while being pregnant just made it seem like I have a problem...
