Great video as always Chris! I was trying to get the tachometer to show in the home menu and the "tachometer" option doesn't show under Meter setup. I have a 2022 Accord Hybrid Touring. Was that setting taken off in the newer model? Thank you!

@@raykwong2212 Under normal driving conditions you shouldn't expect the battery to ever be fully charged. One of the main ways that a hybrid improves fuel economy is by regenerative braking, but if the battery is completely topped off there's no place to store that energy so it's just lost.

Strangely, my 2022 Accord does not have Walk Away Auto Lock feature.... other than that: excellent video.
The LX and Sport trims don't have the walk away features as expressed in my description. Thank you for watching
It also has automatically applying parking brake. while I was backing up, I opened the door to see the curb and make sure I dont hit it, the parking brake applied itself, lol.

If you open the door it will shift to park unless your seatbelt is fastened.

It's easy. Turn the light switch off, engage the electric parking brake. Turn the car off, then restart the car. Now the lights will be off until you start driving again.

Does anyone know if the range increases on this car? On my 15 civic as I keep driving usually my mpg range moves up from like 345-405. With my accord the mpg range just stays the same and decreases doesn’t move up

Hey Chris, couldn't you unlock the rear doors from the drivers side buttons when your key fob dies? I have a 13 civic and I do it all the time, instead of having to reach and unlock it?

Hi Chris!! This morning as I pulled off, a message that said “push start button twice” came on the dashboard. I was at a stop sign so I turned my car off and back on and it worked fine. Do you know why/what that means? Thank you in advance for your help!!

What is the Auto Idle Stop? And what's it for?

@@chuckfan1 if you stop at a red light, and fully press the brake, your engine will turn off, then turn on again when you release your brake. Supposed to save on gas. Seems like it would work well in a city like LA or somewhere with tons of traffic.

All features belong to your key fob! So two drivers with their own key fob can have their own unique settings.

I have a Honda accord 2.0 touring how can I delete stations I've stored in the radio? I have one station stored three times.
Unfortunately you can't just delete a saved preset, you have to save over it

So if the key fob battery dies and you have to use the key to open the door, then why do you need the key to open the trunk? Can't you just hit the button in the car? I 'm asking because I will be getting my 2022 Accord Sport, hopefully, this month!!! Thanks for the video!!!
If the car battery is dead, you'll need to follow the steps to access the truck. If its just a dead fob battery you can used a trunk release in the vehicle. Congratulations on your new Honda and thank you for watching
My Civic FK7 has no OEM Head Unit so how do i enable this feature ? the function was there but stop after an ECU reset :(

Thanks for the tips but many of those work arounds don’t work on the sport 1.5 trim, only on the special edition and sport 2.0 and higher
Most of these do work on every trim level except for the walk away auto lock. Thank you for watching

Upon exiting the vehicle (2021 Honda Accord 2.0T) with my key fob pressing the lock button twice, it would turn off the headlights immediately. Now it does not work anymore and headlights turns off by timer. I tried everything in vehicle settings but still having trouble. Do you know how I can fix this? Please help🙏

@@shengloan There's not setting for headlights to turn off when locking the door with the key fob. You do have a setting that you can adjust for the headlights to turn off in a selected time frame (0sec, 15sec, 30sec, and 60sec) once you turn off the vehicle and shut the driver door.
Ive only owned hondas. The window feature has been available for a long time but it bothers me so much they still havent made it possible to roll up the window with the key lol

Lol they have actually. If you take out the physical key from the fob, you'll twist left once and then a second time but this time it's twist and hold. This should work!
@@Nig3riantac0s im talking about exactly how they roll down with the button, it should be able to be done from the remote.
My 2018 Accord 1.5T just had a fuel injector fail at 58k error code P0172 (posted on my channel). Modern Honda look amazing but once the 3yr/36k warranty expires you're on your own and you have no idea how expensive modern Honda engines are to fix. Oil changed at 80%, Shell regular used 80% of the time, always did warm up the car in the winter. Dealer so out of touch they recommended brake fluid replacement at 30k. I've never seen this part fail in ANY of my past cars. When asked why the injector failed so early Dealer said they see them all the time and cost of replacement is $1600-$2500 (must replace all 4) and the new injectors warranty is only for 12k/12mos! I was in love and bought the 1st Accord on the lot with series ending in -0001 but when I made a case with Honda to see if it could be part of a bad batch all I got was the VM of the case manager for weeks on end. Fool me once shame on me, fool me twice...

Just select and hold down the ACC (that changes the distance) until you hear a beep. I have a video as well
I just purchase the 2021 sport. I see every option for my keys and locks except the option for keyless entry. Does this mean that i will have to take my key out to unlock/lock my doors each time? I also don’t see a button on the back to unlock my trunk. Just the release button inside of my car

Is there another key in the vehicle or are you still next to the vehicle for x amount of time before walking away?
You can also start up the car with a dead battery on the key fob by putting it on top of the push to start button

Hi I have a few question.. I had 2019 Honda Accord sport 1.5 and when I would get in after I say about 30 seconds of driving a womens voice would come on and basically say driver or passenger seat belt not fastened.. well I just bought a 2022 Honda Accord Sport 2.0T last night and when I first test drove it the voice popped on and said seatbelt wasn’t fastened( I can’t remember if it was driver or passenger) I did have a occupant. But then it just chimes constantly if seat belts are not fastened in the front. Why does the voice not come on every entry?
It may be a timer or speed base when activating. I'll have to confirm that

Sir I have 2021 accord EX-L, how to you find your car in a parking lot , the feature that the lights turns on when you approach the vehicle or beep.
On your key fob under the trunk button there should be a small red button labeled “panic”
Press and hold that to make your car flash it’s lights and sound it’s alarm, to turn off panic mode just press lock

Do these 2.0 engines have a break in period? Or should you something for a certain amount of miles?
With newer engines the break in periods aren't that long. Roughly between 500 to 1000 miles. Thank you for watching

Once you open the driver door with the key can't you just press the trunk open button on the door to open the trunk or is that electric requiring you to have to use the key in that little slot near the back seat??
If the car battery is dead, have to use the key release in the back. Just the fob is dead, you can hit the truck open button. Thank you for watching!

Shouldn't you still be able to release the trunk with the button even if the keyfob battery dies? I thought that was for when the car battery dies.
If the fob is dead, the vehicle can't sense it close by. So you can not unlock the locked trunk without a working fob within range.

I had a 2019 civic sport that came with remote start and walk away auto lock. I just bought a 2021 accord sport and it doesn't have either, how is that possible? 2 years newer and a better model yet its down graded? Wth
You're correct, the civic sport had those features but not the accords. Unfortunately that's how Honda assembled it. You may explore a Honda or aftermarket remote start.
That's unlucky, dealer tried to sell me a 2020 accord now I'm happy I opted for the 2022 cuz it has all these cool features

I have never had a problem using non ethanol gas in my other cars But the salesperson told me not to use ethanol free gas in the 2021 Honda Accord WHY?? as he didn't say.. so what say you?

For some reason I can’t see my mileage cause it’s showing the trip amount. How can I see the mileage on my car?
Depending on the trim level, there should be a stick on the driver's interface that you can push to change from trip A B and current mileage. Let me know if that helps and thank you for your support

Havnt had any issues with the system on the 2.0 Touring. Super top of the line? Probably not.. but it does what its supposed to.. different for everyone of course, but having Madison Square Garden type set up isnt what I needed lol Plus there is a hidden menu that has a button you can adjust that helps out a bit. Helps a little, and you can hear the difference.. The best out there? no.... sucks? not even close..

You forgot to say that most of these features if not all are only for Accord 2.0 and not honda Sport.
All of these features will work on the Accord Sport 2.0T. The Sport 1.5T does NOT have the Walk away auto lock. I also have info in the video Description, welcome to review once you're available.
