love your hair! i also loved how you said living at home can be used two ways, as a launching pad or as a crutch. i've been back at home for going on two years after having lived abroad for three. i can feel i'm starting to edge toward jumping off the launching pad by the end of the year. i feel grateful to be able to have this opprotunity. it's also great being able to be a companion with your parent(s) as an adult. my mom and i are truly friends despite us having different beliefs etc which i know not a lot of people can say. wishing you lots of abundant energy as you continue your journey! 🤍

as a Haitian American child I can definitely relate. Haitians don’t want you out of the house until you’ve walked down the aisle. . 😅😂

Me and my sister are experiments of how the outcome turned out for one sibling living with Mom and the other venturing out on their own. We are both in our early 30s. I stayed home but worked full time while my sister moved out of state to pursue post grad education. I had no student loans when i graduated school but I started working immediately with less than ideal salaries. Living with my Mom has allowed me to save a lot of money. My sister was able to make it with a high paying job after so many years in school but she is stuck paying off a huge student loan she had to take out. She actually hates her job and is miserable but doesn’t have the freedom to quit until she pays off her loan balance. I am able to prioritize who I work for to reduce unnecessary stress at the same time having a cushion that enables me to do so. When my sister tried to guess how much I saved she initially thought I had $50k in the bank, when I said nope more than that she was shocked and said $100k. I didn’t want her to know that I actually had $300k saved up so I just lied and stopped at $100k. My sister can be very resentful and I didn’t want her to complain how unfair it is for me to save that much money. My mother told us we have a choice, we can either stay or leave as we please and she chose to leave!

    We love you Morgan!!!
Thank you for being raw and sharing your experiences. As a daughter of immigrants, I resonated with that "my baby not struggling love" which can be good and bad at times. Looking forward to see what great things you do!

Hey Morgan girl 👋🏾 it’s so good to see you post again 🙌🏾🫶🏾💕 Don’t you worry about feeling bad moving back in with your parents. It’s so hard out here especially in today’s economy. When the time is right for you to have your own place again, it’ll happen 🤞🏾 Love you girl 😘❤💕

Great vlog Morgie ❤ thanks for being so real. I moved out at an early age and got married had kids struggled but decided I wasn’t going to give up no way. Struggle definitely is a driver but I also had a natural drive to succeed (my mom didn’t give us a choice) Goals were always in front of me … even if they are realized decades later… don’t give up just keep going. Great book choice by the way. I need to read it again!
Morgie keep being real I’m here for it. You’re an inspiration more than you know. The world is your oyster. Take advantage of every situation. Write down your goals and create action steps towards achieving them. Challenge yourself to achieve something towards your goals every month (with bite size actions taken daily).never give up! ❤❤
