If you have the handheld remote for the Terrova, use that instead. Keep that in your left hand with the lanyard around your neck. Put it on legacy auto-pilot and point the head into the wind. Put the speed a bit lower than the avg wind. So it pushes you backwards slowly. When it starts to push you backwards, hit the rabbit button and allow it to pull you forward and then hit it again, which returns you to the previous speed. Repeat 10,000 times…😀 Also, when it blows that hard from the S, I normally go to the upper where it is calmer. Whiskey Plant to the Casino is a good option. Cheers!

I was the same way and one day you’ll figure it out jigging in the boat is the easiest way to me have never gotten one from shore and tried it for many years

it was tough brother once I get a remote connected to it and learn this motor in and out it should be better but manual was very hard
If you want to hook and land more fish keep the rod tip below your hand.

it is but very shallow trim the motor up a bit when heading in and out
